Pyhä-Luosto National Park in Kemijaervi

I spent 5 days hiking in this beautiful Nationalpark and really loved it. Also the many shelters with toilets were very good and well maintained.

A nice nationalpark with good routes but nothing too special compared with the others in finland.

Beutiful national park with trails to all levels and styles (e-bikes, snow shoes etc). You can choose from few kilometer to thirty kilometers trails. Well maintained rest places.

It was great, altough i was skiing and the snow was nice. Going to go there many times more as i have skipass for the season.

Great place for trekking in summer and ski holiday in winter. Very very friendly and helpful locals.

This is such a magical, beautiful place! Photos dont do it justice. Should be on everyones bucket list! Stunning! There is a ski centre too. When I went the ski centre was closed, (January), Finnish logic. :-But I had the whole place to myself! Words cant convey the beautiful scenery, and the silence...

Very native and easily reachable national park! On optimal schedule the best way to explore park was electronic fatbikes by bliss adventure.

Pyha-luosto National park is very nice place. Everyone should visit has good scenery and i recommend for all. I liked the restaurant most and had good food.

We came here on summer, on a family trip. It was perfect.

Great place for your outdoor adventures

I did two very nice hikes in summer, lasting just around 3-4 hours each. One to the top of Luosto, and another to Pyhänkasteenputous ja -lampi and the swamp area nearby. Both were very beautiful, and the paths were really good.

Great place for holidays!

I love this place! Even though it is small, it is one of my favorite parks in Finland. We did the light blue loop trail Tunturiaapa and the section of the red Karhunjuomalampi trail that goes through the beautiful Isokuro gorge. This is the best hike if you have only a single or even half of a day because it shows the variety of the park with the gorges, the taiga forest with birdlife from siberia and the peat filles "aapa" bogs at the south end of the light blue loop. There is also a birdwatching tower in the bog if you are interested in that. This is truly the stereotypical Finnish forest landscape. Peaceful and serene, the minute you leave the visitor center (which is great).

Lovely place to chill, meet locals and see great natural landscapes.Huskie farm and reindeer ride are worth the price. Great experiences and lots of fun!

One of the most beautiful places I have been in finland.. In the winter its just magical and breathtaking... If you just pass you can see trees covered with snow and ice like out of this world.. Nearby is famous ski resort which is known for freeride zones and also a lot of cross country races

Wonderful support by the workers in the info station. Good infrastructure (grill huts/day huts/lean-to shelters). Perfect for hiking. Please note if you are new to Finland: there are lots of insects mostly mosquitos in here, so prepare for this. But dont hastate to go here, it is worth it (my opinion).

Was a great place to visit and hike! There are challenging and easy hikes. Plus they have lots of interesting geological formations and beautiful fauna in the gorge. Hiked to the top of the mountian and could see the whole more below was well worth it.

Lovely nature park. The gorge track is fantastic. Try climbing up the downhill slopes to the summit (15 mins), then down through the back path (1hto the gorge path itself. All together it takes about 3.5h and its totally worth it.

We went there in June, but summer was late so the walk up the mountain was partially covered by snow and melting water. Hike and view were both breathtaking ;Would only recommend to people who hike regularly. There is a radom on top of the mountain.There is also a very easy to walk trail around the lake in Luosto, a parking lot is directly next to it, and you can get Diesel and gas bottles there.

A great place to enjoy the views with or without family! The slopes were nice for an average skier like me - not too hard and not too easy. Not the greatest place if you like to party, but there are three bars where you can spend the night if you like.

I loved the hiking, beautiful trails and challenging stairway! The chance to be able to cook out at the end was a surprise for me. This was the first Finnish national park we were able to hike. In fact our first trip to Finland. We thoroughly enjoyed the park.
