Puzzled Room Escape in Brisbane

This place is really fun for anyone wanting to do an activity like nothing else. You can choose from a number of challenges from being a detective to raiding Aztec temples. The rooms have challenges and clues to solve to get to the next doors. I had a really awesome time even though you get frustrated at times. Great for groups of 2 or more. Highly recommended if you want to use your brain for an activity.

Booked the Monkey Run escape room with short notice as a suprise for two friends who had never been to an escape room before. What a fantastic experience!Hellan on reception was great and we had an absolute blast. We all cant wait to be back for more!

We did the puzzle tech murder as a family or 4 (kids were 7 and 10and we had a great time and managed to escape in the nick of time. The room was put together in a very clever way and it super fun. Kids couldnt stop talking about it! Dont be afraid to ask for tips if you get yourself stuck.

We did the Mirrored room and really enjoyed our experience, went with my partner and two friends for whom it was their first time ever going an escape room.Although we literally almost solved it (we had the last code but couldn’t finish cos a previous clue wasn’t completed correctly). It was fun seeing how we worked together and highly recommend this for a bonding experience as it brought all of us closer together. The staff were friendly and helpful with their clues when we were stuck.The only reason I put 4 is because one of the puzzles had different answers because of height difference and closeness to puzzle, I was too short to even try with one of the letters and due to this it consumed a lot of our time and took a while to solve.Overall a fun and pleasant experience. Will definitely come back and try another experience 😊

Very disappointed 😢Old neglected room with used up buttons. Too much reading in bad lighting. It was more frustrating than enjoyable. It’s in need of an urgent upgrade and much needed tlc. Won’t be back!

Very well planned and executed escape, lots of fine with a good balance of challenging and not so challenging puzzles.

We had a lot of fun but didn’t escape in time LOL And we recommend not bringing children, we brought a 9yr old who made it harder for us to concentrate and find clues. So it’s definitely best for older teens and adults. We want to try again for sure though!

This was so much fun!! They help you when you get stuck. Even let us finish even though we ran out of time. Seriously great fun.

We had a fun time in the Mirrored Room. The staff member was very helpful when we were stuck on one clue. We would certainly recommend this to others considering.

Disappointed in the second room. It was too dark and random. Even when told the answer it was a pointless activity. We were not even told told the whole narrative when we failed. It’s not like we will do it again.

We did the Haunted Academy with a 5 star rating. It was awesome and we made it out with heaps of time to spare. This place is really good.

My family and I did Monkey Run. It was interesting. Would definitely recommend a visit.SPOILER ALERT: I really liked the addition of the leaves in the first room with the drawings and symbols on the back to guide you through the process. Such a fantastic addition. The laser motion detectors were super fun too!

NEVER AGAIN. COMPLETE SCAM. RIP OFF. WHY DID YOU ASK ME TO SEND AN EMAIL WITH FEEDBACK IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ANSWER. The room wasn’t properly maintained, therefore it was nearly impossible to solve it. The treasure hunter experience is too complicated without logic and its not properly explained. There are too many puzzles and they are not well presented enough to get to solve them. It was hard to understand the guy that explained the “introduction” and when we asked for hints they were not clear either. One of the padlocks didnt work properly as we tried the right combination several times and it only worked when the staff member came to help us. We have been to many other escape rooms in the past and this one was very disappointing. Not sure if we will give it another go in this place.

We booked for 6ppl when the floods happened and 2 of our friends couldn’t make it, so at the end it was just 4 of us. They refused to give the money back to those who couldn’t come.

Good room (Dr Irovs). Very clever puzzles. The five of us had heaps of fun! Struggled a bit on how to use the final number pad, would have been useful to have instructions on the wall for which button to press to end the cycle. Overall, fantastic experience

Booked Battle Mode for my daughters birthday and they had a blast! Lots of fun and very accommodating for ages, needs, fears, and conditions. Staff are great with the kids too!

Puzzled Room Escape was such a fun escape room experience. Its location is not what you expected but the way that the room was set was super creative. The staff members were lovely and they informed us on the rules and the story behind the room theme.The escape room "Monkey Run" is not just a singular room, it branched out to different rooms and the puzzles were fun and creative.Would definitely recommend Puzzled Room Escape to others who want to try out an escape room. There are other rooms with various levels of difficulty and room puzzle types (ie, team based, creative, puzzle etc).

My partner and I did the Treasure Hunter escape room tonight and it was a fantastic experience! From the minute we walked in the door, we were greeted by Helen and Henry, and the customer service from both was great. Extra special mention to Helen as she was a hoot and a half and made the experience that much more memorable. The room was great and we will definitely be back for more!

My daughter and her friends had the BEST time today.The staff could not have been any nicer.They also took into consideration our experience with the recent flooding in rescheduling without any problem.Thank you, once again to a great team.Well done you guys.

This was my first escape room and I absolutely loved it. Their introductory "Monkey Run" was great. The lady who looked after us was extremely friendly and funny.My friends and I will definitely be coming back again!

My partner and I did the monkey room even though the timer went off we manage to you escape at the end not long after timer. We definitely enjoyed it for our first time as we didnt know what we will expect. Customer Service was on point when we went in last night last minute. Atmosphere was awesome as well. We will definitely be coming back to conquer our next challenge and bring along extra people. Worth our $$$

Super cool. I went with 3 friends and did Dr Irov’s Laboratory, which was one of the harder ones, we unfortunately didn’t succeed but we were quite close. This was the second time I have been and trust me, it won’t be my last! Lovely friendly staff who gave us lots of clues when we were… well clueless. It was so much fun totally recommend!!!

Loved, loved, loved the place. We did the Monkey Run escape room and all five of us thoroughly enjoyed it. There was something for everyone to do as team work was essential. Friendly staff, attractive presentation, and incredibly well thought-out puzzles. We were all really into this immersive experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend Puzzle Room Escape for all escape room fanatics out there. 5 stars+

We did money run & dr irovs lab with a larger group on Sunday night & everyone absolutely had the best time. The whole night was made even better by the lovely staff member who was on - she was hilarious, patient & provided hints that got us back on track without making as feel as though we had cheated. It was the first escape room for many of us but it was the perfect introduction & were already planning our next escape!!

We tried Murder room first, we enjoyed it a lot as a family. Great experience. Staff was helpful. We are definitely coming back to try other escape rooms.

Tried the Haunted Academy room - if youre used to other Escape Rooms places, this place will be a bit jarring. My friends and I are by no means escape room experts but weve done quite a few together and the room, while marketed to be hard, wasnt enjoyable in that the story was awkward and a lot of puzzles had ambiguity which can really frustrate and sour the experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We thought the puzzles where hard but not too hard that we had to ask for help every five minutes. Maybe every 15 😀We would certainly go again and try another room. Thanks

We are new to Escape rooms so we opted for an easier room and established that we really were beginners! A lot of fun and very well thought out. Will go back to an even easier room next time!

We did the monkey room and it was very interactive and lots of fun designs. However after doing multiple escape rooms before this was our first time at Puzzled and my friend and I were quite disappointed with the experience. The staff didnt make the experience enjoyable and when we asked for a clue it took us in a direction that wasnt where we were up to which meant we lost quite a lot of time and felt as though it wasnt worth the money compared to other escape room places weve gone to before (which were great experiences).

Weve done 3 different rooms now. They are such a fun activity to do as a family. They are definitely challenging, but once you get the hang of them, it becomes very possible. We are almost out of more rooms to do, so hoping they get some new rooms again soon!

This review is purely for the treasure hunter room. We hated this room. The puzzles were just too hard. There were too many instructions that needed to be read to understand the puzzles. There a few different treasures to collect, which give you bonus puzzles, but all require pushing four buttons in order. These buttons over time have worn down, so it’s really hard to see the images. You have to do wooden jigsaw puzzles twice to open the doors to other rooms. I can do jigsaw puzzles at home, for free rather than a $90 cost. We just got into the last room, just before our time was done. After we were done, The game master did not run the game through with us, which is my preference. I have no idea whether the other puzzles were obscure or we just missed obvious clues. We prefer to finish rooms, even if we need heaps of help. The game master should of pushed us along knowing that we were no where near finished. When you don’t finish, you don’t feel value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was my first escape room and I was not disappointed at all. The staff were very friendly and approachable which made the experience even more enjoyable. If you havent already, it is defiantly worth checking this place out!

A team of 4 of us including an 11 year old birthday boy, did the Monkey Run escape room at Puzzled. We really enjoyed it, having three x first-time participants, we managed to make our way out with 3 minutes remaining. A lot of fun for the family! Thankyou so much, Tom!

A fun (and challenging way to finish the week with work colleagues. With 12 people we had 6 on each team and were able to start at the same time in 2 different rooms. Happy to say our team easily beat the other team by 25 minutes, although they will say their room had a 5 star rating of difficulty while ours had only 3.

Our group of 6 did the Puzzle Tech murder. Our assistant was great, explaining the concept before we entered and helping us out when required. The rooms were very cleverly done. The only thing on the negative side was we all thought the rooms were small for a group of 6. 4 would probably have been more comfortable . Had a good time though. Thanks.

Awesome room with a great atmosphere from staff. Saw we were stuck on a puzzle for about 15mins and so radioed to offer us a hint. We are very excited to book in to try one of the other rooms!

I went here for a work function. We had two teams. My team did a laboratory room, another did (I think, memory is fuzzya murder mystery type room in a dark room.The puzzles in my room were well designed and fairly challenging. The rooms are set up quite well to explain an interesting story as you unravel more clues. Ive done a few other escape rooms around Brisbane and I would definitely rate these guys. Its not the most polished atmosphere but youre there for a good time, not a fancy time, and they do escape rooms very well.

We had a great first experience with Puzzled Room Escape in Mt Gravatt. We did Treasure Hunter and loved the creativity and level of detail that went into the room. We didn’t finish! But had a great time and got up to the last puzzle within the hour. Our staff member was really helpful, even offering us a switch of rooms to an easier one because we hadn’t done a puzzle room before, and being available for any questions we had via the walkie talkie once we were in the room. Thanks for a great and unique experience!

Did the treasure hunt with 2 children (about 10yrs old). This was our 3rd escape room (the two others being with other businesses). I found the instructions were long and I’m sure confusing for the kids. While the staff were nice they weren’t as energetic as you would expect.The game was extremely hard. I have no idea how far we got into it. Probably not even half way. The hints were fine and helped but even the hints were long winded. When we were told of the last puzzle I thought ‘I would NEVER have worked that out’. Sure I’m pretty terrible at puzzles so only try this is you enjoy very hard puzzles.I would give this a 2 star review however I have it 3 because I’m sure people who are great at puzzles and enjoy super hard puzzles would love this.

Celebrated our Christmas party here and we had so much fun! The staff were amazing - we wouldnt have got out without Helen. The room briefings were delivered in a fun and engaging way. Thank you for a great arvo!

It was great. The staff were so friendly. I was with an adult friend and my 2 children aged 13, and 11. My 11 year old has an intellectual impairment and she was able to join in and enjoy the experience. We were absolutely terrible at figuring out the clues and it was still a great experience. We will definitely go again.

Having done a few other escape rooms as a family, this particular laboratory one was our favourite thus far. Great complexity and variety of rooms - location was close to home also - staff member was very helpful and professional - was first time here but definitely going back again!

Such a fantastic experience here today (29/06/2020 2:00pmThe place is so well set up. We did the murder room puzzle and loved the challenge. We were greeted very warmly on arrival, unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the guy working there but he was great. Will definitely be back

My brother and i completed the mirror room. It was one of the best rooms i have ever done and i am so amazed with the attention to detail that the designers have done with that room. It was an awesome experience.Our time spent in the room was also made better by our game master Katelyn. She made our experience a lot more enjoyable. Her enthusiastic personality and kindness towards my brother and I made us feel welcomed.Thanks puzzled for your experience, I hope to see more rooms from you guys in the future

My First escape room and it didnt disappoint I was very late and the game master took it graciously which was a plus.My team and I did the "Haunted Academy" and it was great fun and definatly lived up to its title.

Great way to spend a good hour solving puzzles with family & friends. Very creative! Weve completed Puzzle Tech Murder and just missed the mark on Dr Irovs Lab. Cant wait to try the other rooms.
