Putt Mini Golf in Shelburne

Have loved this place ever since I was a kid! Always a fun time here.

Went to check them out Saturday night before they close forever at the end of March 2022. Mask mandates were still in place, yet most people took their masks off the second they rounded the corner into the putting area. No staff around to control this and no cleaning efforts out in the putting area as they string group after group through. People may be over the pandemic and this venue may be closing but COVID still exists and safety efforts should still be made when there is SO much contact with the equipment.Frustrating having to CONSTANTLY wait for the massive group ahead of us as they had to spacial awareness and kept hanging out on the green after they were done with a hole, one guy especially just standing over the hole with his face in his phone taking selfies the entire time. Again, no staff around in putting area so nothing to keep the flow going, which made the two teenage girls behind us super impatient as well.If it wasnt closing, Im not sure Id be willing to go back based on those points alone. It was fun, but it was more stressful and frustrating experience than anything. The artwork and glow in the dark decorations were cool and I hope some company salvages them to make good use of them.

Long wait times, poorly kept arcade, and no direction. I actually felt bad for the girl, who was obviously on her own, behind the counter. Just disappointing.

Spent the morning there today. Grandkids had so much fun at mini putt and the arcade. Staff are great. My granddaughter has had lots of fun this afternoon crafting with her prize. Sad to see you close.

Just finished a round here with my children. The girl behind the counter was EXTREMELY rude to not only us but many others in line. The price for adults and children of all ages are the same which is something Ive never seen before which resulted in me paying $13.50 for a 4 year old to smack her ball a couple times! Almost half of the games were out of order and were also overpriced. Terribly run business with terrible staff! The girl behind the counter tonight has no business dealing with the public as she has zero people skills!*Edit*Exhausted? You cant be serious? I was not verbally abusive what so ever lol I cheked in with my family of 5 with no masks as we are exempt. We golfed the whole time with no masks and as Im counting our scores she tells me to put my mask on! I politely told her I dont wear a mask and that we just spent 10 minutes checking in and paying without a word from her! She then asked to see a paper showing an exemption! Is that how youve trained her? Ive seen your tactic in previous comments trying to save face even if it means lying. You also have a lot to learn about running a business evidently as your behavior in the comments of these 1 star reviews will show. And wow! You guys wanted to charge an infant and her mother who wasnt golfing admission! What kind of place are you running there!EVERYONE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO TO ANOTHER PLACE!

Nostalgic memories, place is in great shape, lots of fun in the dark and very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent activity with friends and family

Overpriced and looking tired!Same price regardless of age. We had a three year old who was charged $13.50+HST!!I would not recommend this as a place to take your family as there are much better options for entertainment in Barrie at much better value and with much better facilities.

Very cute short date idea! I’ve been here a few times and loved it. The golf course is very fun and colourful. It wasn’t too busy so I didn’t have to wait for anyone to finish their hole. On top of the golf, the arcade space is very cool! I love that I can hang up my coat at the front too. Would recommend!

Terrible experience today. We were paying for 3 admissions (2 children and my husbandand I was told that myself and my one year old could not enter without also paying. I explained I would be holding my baby the entire time as SHE IS NOT OLD ENOUGH TO PLAY MINI PUTT and we were still refused entry without paying for another 2 admissions! Quite the family place- NOT! Also half the machines in the arcade are still out of order and the prizes are junk - not even dollar store quality! Not impressed and we will not be returning - our money will go to the arcade and bumper cars in Orillia next time - save yourself the drive!

Pretty decent little place. One light was out making that hole a little trickier. 12.5$ / adult. Definitely seems like it needs a refresher after covid grind but Im sure that will come with time and the return of customers.

Clean, well organized, next to no crowds too! The kids loved the little arcade and the ambiance on the course is SO COOL!It would help if the staff would be a bit more...enthusiastic maybe? The employees were on their phones and not at all sociable. Friday night, October 8th, 2021 around 7pm.But it didnt stop us, we brought the joy!

Went here while on trip to Barrie. Enjoyed it so much, we went back the next day! Awesome and challenging course that was great no matter your skill level!

Mini golf was fun took my nephew for his birthday gift the arcade wasnt that great half the machines didnt give tickets and the one guy attendant wasnt very nice he was on his phone talking personal stuff and wouldnt talk to me the girl was super nice she was great all in all Id give it 3.9. Stars if the arcade was better Id give it 4.5 stars

Such friendly staff, a great classic spot for glow in the dark mini putt, and not too pricy! Would recommend. It’s a great date idea.Shoutout to the lady who was working the day I went. She was extremely accommodating, friendly, and gave me and my boyfriend coins to use at the arcade while we waited, since we had to wait for a larger than expected group to go before us.

Had an absolute blast here. Counter staff is very pleasant and it is not too expensive to play. . We played two rounds and will definitely be back in the near future.

I always have fun here . Every year I come here 1 to 2 times with family or friends. But Sadly havent went here this year. it so pack hope by the end of summer I get a change if it is not that busy . Also there not as much shade either. but overall it is the best place to mini golf because there is not just one there is Two of them.

Golf was great... but after buying 100 tokens we found out half the machines were out of order... then the prizes were the worst Ive seen at a prize arcade. Will not be going here again. If your going for golf its worth it but check the arcade section before deciding to buy tokens.

Absolutely loved it! The staff were so friendly. My friends & I had a great time together. Will definitely visit again when we’re in town

Was disappointed as the golf was extremely busy so you have to wait on each hole and then feel rushed as people immediately behind you waiting. The arcade needs a lot of work, lots of out of order games, prize tickets not loaded in games. There was only one person taking care of the place so nobody ensuring people are social distancing and many people were too close .

Kids loved the glow in the dark mini golf. We had a blast. The arcade section does need a little improvement.

We loved bringing our family here! We visited from Toronto, and were looking for something to do with our 4 kids. The girl that answered the phone was super nice, the type of person you want to speak with when you call any business. When we arrived we quickly signed in and got into the game area. Its a smaller place than we thought, with just a small area for arcades and the rest glow-in-the-dark mini golf. The holes are well thought-out send challenging, but not too much. Every player gets a glow bracelet, and a cool neon pencil and scorecard are provided. We didnt mind the fact that some arcades were out of order. The air hockey worked well! All in all, we paid roughly $10 per child, and it was very well spent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our round of golf Tuesday morning. We made a reservation since there was six of us. We were the only people there other than the front desk worker.

We went as a last minute date, its was very fun. There was a larger group ahead of us so we did get to enjoy our time and play each hole a couple times while waiting for the next hole to open up.Getting in was straightforward. Walk in take off your coat and place in available coathangers if you choose to do so. Pay, pick your colours and have fun. Worth it.

We had so much fun playing Mini golf here. The more you looked at the paintings, the more you found! And the course had some fun twists and turns. Wish we lived closer because we would be back with our kids.

Fun place to go play mini golf. The courses werent the best but it was nice to play around.

Great place to take the kids. Also boasts a small arcade that win you tickets for items and candy. Was a real hit with my 4 & 9 yr old. No line up either !

My girlfriend and I visited on new years eve 2019. The owner was nice enough to let her staff leave to have fun for new years and she was very nice to deal with. The glow in the dark course wasnt too hard and fun to play so we even did a second round. We will be back for sure.

Really cool. Dont make your mind from the outside, the inside is amazing! Cheap as it is, its really worth a try!

My family came from out of town and we had a blast here! We had 11 people in total so we were able to split up into 3 groups (max 4 people per group), and the kids loved the fun black light colours. The employee on shift was very helpful and well educated about what he was talking about and helped us get the best rate possible :My only complaint was that there were at least 3 arcade games that were out of order, and some of the steps in the dark mini-putt course werent lit up well so it was hard for my grandmother to navigate. Altogether it was a fun experience for our whole family and it was difficult enough for the adults but fun enough for the kids!

I like this Mini Golf place. Ive come here many times, the indoor, glow in the dark course never seems to bore me, last time I was here I played three games straight with my buddy, and had fun through all of them. The course is very well designed, and the staff here are always competent at their job and seem to offer a smile whenever Im there. The pricing is fair, its $14 after tax per person to golf, which you cant really complain about for 30-60 minutes of fun. The only concern is the arcade, which isnt remotely why I come to a golf place, but the arcade it does have, lacks and is too expensive.

I held my sons 7th birthday party here. I booked it to start at 11am. I arrived approximately 20minuets early to ensure I knew the game plan for the party and how things were going to work. The young girl at the front desk seemed extremely overwhelmed and had no idea what was going on with our party. I asked about when pizza would arrive and the cake and was told they didnt have the cake marked down and she would text her manager. I was later told that the pizza would be ready for 12:00, and the cake should be there around then as well. After all the children arrived we played our round of mini golf (flew through itwe were out in roughly 25 mins with 10 children ! Since it was still early , we then got our tokens for the children and let them play in the arcade. The arcade had several machines that were out of service , and multiple other machines that would eat the tokens and not let them play the round or not give out tickets that are owed. When the When kids were cashing in their tickets the girls at the front desk were very rude with them, and were more interested in playing on their cell phones. the pizza was ready we ordered two pepperoni when we booked but received one pepperoni , one former pepperoni now cheese pizza.( You could tell it was cooked as a pepperoni pizza and the pepperonies were picked offthe pizza was under cooked and cold. The cake was a whole issue on its own. Originally we were told 12:00, then shortly after 12, then 12:30 . Needless to say the cake didnt show up until 12:45 . Our party was booked from 11-1. I had to get the girls to call the manager who did not want to come over to resolve the issue since he was currently at a in play birthday party. I spoke with him on the phone and was told our parties are usually spread out over a 3 hour time span so this was completely on schedule for where the party should be. I was not informed this when I booked the party and with how quickly we went through mini put and the amount of games that were out of order there wouldve been no way to keep the kids entertained the whole time. When we booked the party we were told that the broken machines were going to be fixed ( this was about a month before the actually party day). When the cake arrived it smelled of cigarettes, the box the cake its self and with only 15 minuets left of the party I wasnt going to cut it. After arguing with the manager on the phone that I wasnt paying full price for this party not only for whats listed above but also that I was told the party room would be decorated. There was deflated balloons on the walls that were so old they had pieces flaking off of them. The manager eventually said he would be over in 10 minuets, when he showed up he had no sense of care for the situation. The manager originally wanted me to still pay full price and he would give me discounts in the future,I refused this option as I will not be returning and will be advising anyone I know to not attend this business either. The manager did refund me the price of the cake only, and then I left the cake with him which he took with him to his car. I dont think that cake was edible based on the smell that came from it. The two girls at reception did give us extra tokens for the kids and an additional round of mini golf which was appreciated. I would not recommend this place to any one for a birthday party, I shouldve went with my gut and trusted the terrible reviews and not wasted my money. I honestly couldve done better with alot less if I had of done it from my home.

Sorry about this review if this place just changed owners but we were there two weeks ago and this places was BUSTED... literally!! Staff was unfriendly and half the arcade game were out of order. The mini putt was ok but could use a bit of freshening up.I have three young kids and it gets hectic so the best experience we have at mini golf is if my wife and I don’t play... this place still chaged us and our TWO YEAR old full pop to chaperone and, not cool.... but guess you have to when non of the money maker arcade games work 😂Hopefully new ownership revives this joint, might come back.... send me a coupon 😉

Would have given this place a full 5 star rating if they had a good arcade inside and not a money grabbing, coin eating dive inside. The mini golf itself was great and fun. Only thing was the ward cleaner smell that took awhile to adjust to. :/

It was fantastic. I took my 4 year old son there for one of our "dates" - he had so much fun! It was the middle of the weekday, so it was obviously quite slow, so the manager let him try as many times as he needed to win playing the "claw" game for free. Later I realized I lost my other sons soother there and she offered to drop it off on her way home, which she did, in a ziplock bag, carefully labelled "not washed yet". Great place, great service!

I had my sons birthday party here in October and we loved it so much my friends daughter wanted her party there so we had it last weekend. GREAT STAFF both times, very polite and accommodating !! Highly recommended!!

Had a bunch of fun here, the staff were very polite, and the attraction was very well kept. The cost is very much worth the entertainment value provided. Would recommend this place to anybody looking for something to do on a rainy day and the fact that they’re open late is great too. They offer a second round of play for only 4$ if you need to break that tie on a date. There is also an arcade and party rooms though we did not utilize either they appeared to be well kept and clean.

Fun little day out with the kids. Not too expensive which is nice. They also have a play again offer for about half price of you want to play all 18 holes again.Would be nice if it was themed better. Each hole seemed like they just dropped random obstacles throughout so it was lacking a bit. Still fun though.

Kids had a blast! We are a slow group and either had to allow others to play through or rush our game. Would be better if they staggered the groups or just time it so a new group doesnt start until the group who just went in has been playing for a certain period of time.

I really like his place! The artwork is amazing inside. Everything is EXTREMELY “glow in the dark” only flaw with his place is the staff and the prizes. I really enjoy the music they play while you mini putt. I have never had a bad experience with this place in the 10+ times I’ve gone. The prices are also very reasonable. If they came up with better prizes to the arcade and had more welcoming staff I would rate a 5 star.

Im leaving a 5 star review for Putt Mini Golf and their staff for holding down the fort and doing what they had to do to "save" my daughters birthday party when the staff over at In Play let them/us down - good job!!! I see another reviewer below had the same issue with the pizza being late/cold - however, I greatly appreciated that they offered up extra tokens for the kids to keep them occupied in the meantime without being asked, and were very apologetic. When it came time for loot bags, which it seemed that In Play also forgot, they whipped up some of their own in a hurry to substitute that were more than sufficient. Great work under pressure! Good job staff!The In Play crew however, obviously have some work to do... Ive heard enough negative feedback about the place that Ive never even taken my kids in, a decision Ill likely stand by after this. Had the staff at Putt not been so great and accommodating in this situation, we could have easily ended up with a pretty crappy birthday experience on our hands.

Great date location when bored during the day time. Can get busy and loud durin gcb bathe evening. $11 for 18 holes isnt bad. Its the arcade games that are expensive afterwards. We had fun! Not wheelchair friendly though Im afraid.

Great course! Super cheap and you have a blast golfing and trying to beat your friends. We went there near Hallowe’en and there were some great decorations. Would recommend this to anybody looking for a great night out. (Food is also right around the corner!)

A fun place with clean facilities and friendly service. Have come here with groups of adults and groups of children and have fun every time :)

I find the kids pricing a little much, and again (like all the other times weve beenhad trouble with the arcade machines also. I have seen an improvement in cleanliness however which was nice, but I do think they should be more organized when allowing people in as the wait times are sometimes ridiculous. Its hard to have fun with 2kids that want to golf and youre spending more time waiting at holes for groups to finish. I would suggest it, but definitely ask about how many people are ahead of you inside of you want a decent experience.

Had a great time! Went over on Easter Monday with my wife just for fun and it was great. Everything looks new and well maintained inside. The holes are very fun to play. There are hidden passages that you have to look for, but are hard to find because its "glow in the dark" inside. We had a great time!
