Puranmal Restaurant - Indian restaurant in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Good food
Expensive, I orderd Bhel and Samosa only both 1 each they charged me 21.75 AED which includes 4 AED delivery charge even though I am in next shop on top of that for taste i will rate zero.
Tried dahi puri but it was not dahi puri from any angle. It is good for fresh sweets but as restaurant thy not good as it was 2nd or 3rd visit and got disappointed always.
Worst panipuri ever had..Dont try..
These people are taking delivery charges in same building of restaurant
Authentic Indian cuisine
Ordered idli sambhar and mysori masala dosa.....Mysori Masala Dosa was superb in taste. Although being too oily it was delicious have to admit cant stop eating it....wish they had more chutneys also available ....Idli was little dry and that much tasty it was little hard and sambhar had too much oil ...
Very bad experience with this restaurant π
Puranmal is a very well known restaurant for vegetarian food, sweets and snacks. This restaurant in sharjah has only 2 tables for dining in option. They have variety of sweets and snacks.
Not a fan - but people seem to love it! I go there primarily for the chaat and chai - neither of which are life changing. Another reason to go is that They also have seasonal and festive sweets always.
Their is nothing wrong with the quality of purnmal product whatever it is, but, the staffs were rude and very unprofessional. It doesnt take long to loss brand value when you start disrespecting/ignoring your customers..
Horrible experience, super spicy Raj kachori never ever will order from this branch anything nor I will go and eat here. Itβs like they filled in toooooo much red spices in it. Horrible π‘π‘π‘π‘
Staff needs to be more professional and polite......Among snacks other than Samosa all are soso.......for sweets compared to other Indian restaurants there is lot of scope to improve.......
A good place for Indian sweets, breakfast lunch or dinner. They have good stock of namkeens as well.
If we buy mixed sweets, they mix with unfresh sweets together. Very expensive
The food is OK, expensive for what is on offer! Some items are good, others are below average. Very small seating area, so you have to wait if you go on weekends and theres no waiting area as such. The staff will just keep shooing you around till your turn comes! The person on reception doesnt have any clue about hospitality, and isnt very welcoming to guests! This person needs to be trained thoroughly before he can be placed anywhere near guests. Service is the weakest link for this restaurant, which is thriving only on its brand name!
Nice veg food I think one of the best veg food I ever had
I love Puranmal sweets & snacks anytime any day. Specially samosa with yummy chatni ππ
Puranmal is famous for Indian sweets and same time they take advantage of your desires towards Sweets. They are strategically increasing price every single occasion, its like immotional blackmailing to all Indian sweet lover.
I have always loved their Chaat and South Indian dishes. Always clean. Slightly overpriced.
Good range of Indian sweets. We particularly like their kaju katli, dates barfi and kaala jamoon.
Thanks for quality & nice food. I really appreciate all the restaurant management & team for quality food. I have enjoyed after long time a good meal
Had vada pavu and combo veg dish. Met our needs and taste buds perfectly. Small place with many choices.
Very honest review.. as I have had to this place many times.Food Price- Very good(not that cheap, but not that very expensive)Food quality- GoodFood quantity- Very GoodFood Flavour- Indian food- Amazing, other than Indian- Needs loads of improvement.Delivery- No issues facedDine-in - Amazing.Overall Good, as it has chain of restaurants all over the country so it is easy and trustworthy. Plus, it is not expensive like Bikanerwala, Kamat and other high-end pure-veg rest.
I thought it is south Indian restaurant. But it was north Indian restaurant. Out side board not mentioned anything. But restaurant name looks like south Indian restaurant. Perumaal restaurant....
Very tasty north indian vegetarian food.
We ordered puri bhaji n chole puriFood was okkStaff service was goodGood food hygiene n outlet neat n clean.
One of my all time favorite restaurant to visit for quick snack, pani puri is great here. Pav bhaji and Alo paratha must try for light dinner.
Not value for money. I had Paneer Tikka combo, but not much satisfied. They need to improve on the quantity. Quality is good.
Taste is good not awesome... All types of food sweets and snacks available
We have been to Puranmal Sharjah based on the brand.surprised to see the prices are much higher for a limited quantity food despite Sharjah cost of living is economical. Food is not up to the mark. In Menu it is not mentioned whether the thali is limited or unlimited. Beware of this. We do not recommend Sharjah puranmal. Thank you.
Authentic Indian Food, Alots of Paid parking available at the place
A decent dining area, but the place is really small. Prefer to take a take away instead. Their menus are really good and the food quality and taste are outstanding usually.
Nice collection of sweets and snacks . For vegitarians, its one of the best choices.....However, its not appropriate for taking Lunch or Dinner within the resturent due to space issue .,.....
Good place to pick up some Indian Sweets..
While itβs an amazing option to have breakfast, I have rated less due to staff behaviour. Sorry to say, but they have laid back response, and I have had unpleasant encounter, not once but twice. Anyways, the food quality and taste make the place worth visiting.
Food is delicious and very hygienic. They served the best sweets in the area. Must try
Good food and great service. It was continously buzzing with people yet they managed to delivered everything within a short span of timeπ Food was pretty good and cost was usual. We ordered dahi batata chat, paneer paratha, Puri chole, mix paratha. Parathas were good and chole was damn deliciousπ€€ On the downside, paneer paratha was too saltyπ You could definitely try this vegetarian place β£οΈ
Food quality specially sweets are delicious. However they donβt have return policy. Incase if you place bulk qty sweets then you canβt returned back even if itβs in original packing and returning back on same day.
Even though the restaurant is quite small, the ambience is good.Coming to food, it isnt THAT great. The "malai kofta" that we ordered seemed too sweet for such a dish.BUT THE SPRING DOSA IS DEFINITELY ONE TO TRY ! The mix of Chinese and South Indian was a great combination of sweet and spicy noodles stuffed in a dosa. The HYDERBADI BRIYANI has a fantastic taste too ! These two dishes are definitely something that one should try if they visit this place. The rotis were quite good too. Their flavoring could have been better. The price of the dishes seems to be a little overpriced for their quantity. So to sum up, this restaurant is good for veggie lovers who prefer eating moderate spicy food.
Its a good place to enjoy indian delicacies. It is a pure veg restaurant and one can enjoy the chaats, vada pav, finger foods. Its is easily accessible and one can find parking nearby.
The place us really awesome... being located in Dubai.... it gives very homely and nice vibes to indians who visits there for there to enjoy indian food.. it hot all the indian streets food from all type of chat to south indian dishes like idli, xhosa, menduvada to all types of indian Mitahi..... good to visit....
Very very bad. Not even upto the mark. Food is not that tasty.expensive also.Restaurants are all moving to eco-friendly. But this restaurant is using paper plates, plastic bowls and glasses.
Not agreed how there service is on plastic plates even Thali. You say we are authentic restaurant of veg restaurant it mean Thali or any food serve it should be authentic way. Cost and teste wise you always good but you should focus on how to serve your customers on authentic way of Indian. Personally Im very big fan of your restaurant over uae n been since 2005 you were at behind ambassador hotel but dubai. Looking forward to see you on above view.
Good quality food. The ingredients used are of high quality hence the taste is superior. The mini thalis are great like chola bhatura, puri bhaji. The quantity is a little less and price also on a little higher side compared to other Indian food joints, but if you want good quality food then a must visit place.
The restaurant has small seating area in case of dining in. The menu is typical Puranmal menu. Good variety of sweets are offered at this location. The food taste was average to good, depending on the dish. Parking can be difficult to find on weekends. No restroom at this location. Overall, average place.
The best joint when u want authentic Mumbaiiyaaa taste, good hygiene standards maintained so its undoubtedly the best joint for good Indian streetq food. If you are looking for similar food joint on a budget in Dubai, you can go to .... Well thats another story, will keep it for another review.
Small place with variety of indian sweets , very crowded during festivals. It is more of sweet shop than a Restuarant..they have 4-5 tables with very polite staff. Food mostly served in disposable containers.
The food here is good, especially if someone is looking for north Indian food. The restaurant has small area and becomes crowded pretty quickly during peak hours but feels pretty clean. Overall a good family restaurant.
Tea is totaly destroyed. Dont drink tea. Sweets are overpriced. Other snacks are so so.
