Beautiful
Best Scam ever! It is a good start to feel the Bali Scam :D Random man comes to you to give a gudie. He is not clear anot price. First the man asks for sarong 50K IDR. After guide he asks for 20-30 $.
Seriously pesteredLooking at the Guides sitting on the pavement is a bit of a warning for what happens when you go into the complex. Its not worth the hassle!!
At first we only want to go to the museum and this guy stop us and ask if we need a tour, we said ok, he put "sarung" on us and charge 50k IDR per person for the sarung and ask for 10 USD for the tour which is in my opinion was not woth it, I feel tricked and I am sure many people feel the same. My advice just go straight to the Bali museum, and get a ticket there and also tour for 20k IDR
For praying only, but you can view this temple from bale bengong in the Bali Museum.
Beautiful, wonderful, large area, holy place, good Balinese Architecture Building, peaceful place, clean, exciting place Top !!!
I have visited at Galungan day. Not crowded at all, it was full of peace.
Very good
Good place
Beautiful temple in denpasar city👍👍👍
Hindus tample in the center of denpasar city
The temple is really beautiful, but we got scammed with sarong by local guy who asked 50k per one sarong. After cca 5 min inside, he asked for 10 USD as whatever.. I dont know which buddha he is praying to. Ruined the experience for us
Nice temple. Worth to visit.
This Is Historic Temple in The Bali
A quite nice temple close to Puputan Park and Bali Museum. You have to pay to enter the temple. It is an open air temple with many statues. If you have free time at Denpasar it is a nice idea to visit this temple.
Its a small place on a rush street. "Staff" outside wanted 20k for borrowing a sarong. I told him I have my own so he wanted 10k, but I didnt get any ticket. It totally ruined atmosphere of the place, people here see European and they think we just throw money around. Be careful and dont give your money to everyone who smiles. It was our first day so we payed, I wouldnt do it again! They even walked behind us to be sure we use the right exit. After we left and returned them sarongs, they tried to sell us some souvenirs. There are definitely nicer and quieter places!
Bless me
Nice temple located at center of denpasar city
so quite, nice place to pray. you should wear well dress, pakaian sembahyang to go inside
The architecture is so beautiful. Perfectly located nearby Puputan Park and next to Bali Museum, you can strolling around this area by walking.
Nice, calm and clean place.
Nice temple but scammed for sarrong and then he wanted more money once inside. Then hassle to buy stuff inside with one person following us for about half a mile down the street, ruinned the experience.
Friendly staff who offer rental sarongs, required for entry (2 for 50000).Beautiful temple, featuring many Hindu gods.
We organised a car to take us around Denpasar for the day and our first stop was this temple. I recommend going to the museum next door first so you have a good idea of the background. Outside the temple we paid a small fee to the tour guides, equivalent of about £5 per person for a sarong and guided tour. The tour guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgable, happy to answer all of our questions and he took his time showing us around, the place was deserted so we could take our time. The only thing is that the temple isnt very big so you wont need more than 20 minutes there, but go to the museums next door to get the full experience. It is a beautiful temple.
amazing
This Temple name is Jagat Natha placed in the centre of Denpasar city!
Good
Pray together
Lovely temple but it was tainted by the ‘guide’ he dressed us in Sarongs and then asked for 10USD.. we didn’t have and USD so we have 100k IDR and he said he needed another one. It was our first day in Bali and we were naive so we payed but don’t let him rip you off! He also gets his friend to try and sell you artwork -_-He also insisted on taking photos of us when that wasn’t the reason why we wanted to see the temple. They see western people and just see money which just frustrates me a little. But we live and we learn!
Its adobe of Lord Sri Jagannath. Located at Bali main city Denpasar. One should not miss to visit during their visit to Bali. Blessed.
Nice and clean . history temple
Nice view for photografer to take a moment
Holy sacred temple for hinduism. Nice place for praying with good view.
Its really good temple. Holly place,
Most people who visits this place are Hindus, and mostly for praying. I am also Hindu myself and often went here from time to time. If youre not Hindu but intends to visit this place feel free to visit it as long as you dress formally and with someone to guide you with. Cheers
Very nice temple in the heart of Denpasar
Currently this temple have a good rules for the people who want to pray. We cant enter the temple if we bring our canang/sesajen with plastic. I came to this temple, last Saturday when Saraswati and there are many people come to this temple bring their canang/sesajen without plastic.
Great temple for Balinese Hindu people
🙏😇
Located at the heart of denpasar city
This temple very good
Indonesian government should preserve this old Hindu Jagannath temple which is possibly thousands of years old
Entrance fee: 10‘000 to 20‘000 IDRGuided tour: he asks for 150‘000 IDR per Person incl. entrance fee, of course a rip-off.But you can talk with him and negotiate, our tour lasted half an hour and was OK. We asked some questions, he took some photos of us, we played some instruments...They try to sell you some stuff so be prepared... ;-)We paid a fraction of the 150‘000 per Person and he was fine with that.
10,000 IDR entrance fee. Sarong supplied. Small but nicely formed. Kids and adult worshippers were there, dressed in white and looking very smart.
need a sarong to get in... 10k entrance fee
Nice bali temple, with nice collection of musical instruments.
Large and beautiful Hindu temple in the heart of Denpasar.
