Gorgeous natural place. There are private cabins to stay. Theres a restaurant on site with delicious local food and very friendly staff. Ziplining over the waterfalls is a must!

Dont get me wrong , its a magnificent waterfall. The 100L entrance fee is even reasonable. But the views of the waterfall are from above only and not much worth than 15-20 minutes of your time. If you want to enjoy the waterfall from down below and or go behind the waterfall you have to pay for a guided tour of 400L/pp (!!(350L if you stay at D&D brewery). Also the safety rules to swim are mind boggling. They allow for kids to get into the water (under adult supervisiona mere 15 meters from the waterfall. This is just a deadly accident waiting to happen. "Liberty is responsibility" the sign says 😱. I just hope all garbage in the water is enough of a deterrent for people not to swim here.

Amazing place to visit! The water fall is huge and you can do other things like canopy above the water fall, river floating, or the extreme adventure of going behind the water fall wherethere is a cave!

I have been to this place twice. My first visit was in 2013 while on a mission trip to Honduras. My second visit was in 2022 while in Honduras again visiting my friends that I met while on mission. Both trips were very fun, and it was nice weather on both of my visits to the waterfall. There is a bit of a steep hike down to the base of the waterfall if you wish to get a view like in the picture, but I believe it is very much worth the effort. I hope I get to visit this place again someday, and I would highly recommend you visit this place if you get the chance.

This place is a nice place to Adventure. It really is. This is 1.5 hours from San Pedro Sula. And 2 Hours from the San Pedro Sula Airport. GPS will take you right to the place. Park fee is about $4.00 a person. You can go swimming there in cold water. They have picnic areas and tables. You can tent camp if you want. Tents are set up right up close to the water or at a flat grassy area behind the restaurant. That is awesome. At night you can hear the water as it flows into the waterfall. Just wonderful! The price for the tent spot is about $5.00 night. You can also rent a cabin. They are awesome looking by the way, but the nightly rate is $100.00 a person and you get discounts as more guests are added to the numbers of occupants. With that, you can swim in the pool just for cabin guests, or you can swim in the stream. You can go zip lining as well. The price is about $25.00 a person. You have 7 stops where 4 of those stops go over the waterfall. That is breath taking. Get that camera ready! You can also get hiking tour to a cave behind the waterfall and they take 14 people at a time because the cave isnt that big to hold more than 14. That is about $13.00 a person. That was nice. Youve never gone behind a waterfall in a cave? You should. Its amazing. Or you can do river tubing. Price is about $25.00. I didnt do that. I didnt have the time. As I said there a lot to do there. The restaurant has a huge nice level grass area you can just sit there and enjoy the view, play soccer, they have some small indoor goal there, you can bring your own horse shoe, frisbee, bocce ball, etc. You can bring your own food or buy there. Now this is place I wish I had an extra day in my schedule to just enjoy more of the swimming.Update: June 10, 2022. If you want to rent just the spot for your tent is L.150 about $6.00 per person. We stayed 2 nights. If you want to rent the tent (8x12L.500 about $20.00 a night. We did the tour behind the waterfall. L.300.00 about $12.00 per person. It is challenging to do this. The Adrenaline kicks in as you get closer to the waterfall because it gets more challenging to make it to the end. You cant see a thing as the water pours hard on you while you are fighting the current, and the slippery rocks and at the same time holing to the wire. You then climb a latter which you cant see because the water cover that ladder. You just have to feel it and climb while homding to the wire. We then came back the same way we went it and at the end, we jumped into a a pool from about 50 feet high. We then went ricer tubing and that was relaxing. You can rent water shoes or bring your own.

Stunning place and must see! You can spend the day there. And there are some activities that you can do. Adult entrance fee is 100L (4USD), but its really worthy!

Amazing view, its so green! They have a couple of Ziplines that go across the river, there is a swimming area, a little restaurant and a couple of beverage shops.

Nice place nature-wise. Usually overly crowded. Not much to do around. And both roads to get there are truly hell. Prepare to get your car wrecked, or use a somewhat tall car (pickup, van, etc).

If you are looking for a rugged place with a beautiful waterfall and places to swim in clear river water, this place is beautiful. The temperature of the water was perfect (in Aprilwe stayed in the water a few hours. The park is surrounded by trees, and as a nature preserve park it has everything you may need, parking lot, restaurant, gift shop, clean bathrooms and changing rooms, Ziplining, and you can even rent a cabana to spend the night. The only problem we encountered is that the road is in really bad shape, filled with potholes, so if you come by car drive slowly, dont overload the car or bring a pick up truck or lifted vehicle. The entrance to the park is clearly marked from the road and Google maps has the correct location so you can use Google maps to get directions. The entrance fee was L100 per person (about $4.00 US Dollars)

Its a very beautiful location. Good staff.EDIT: If you intend to rent a cabin here, or plan on spending more than a few hours swimming etc... Consider bringing your own food. There is only one restaurant on the premises.

An excellent place to visit and the Falls are amazing. Behind the falls tour is a tour you should never miss. It was amazing.

Beautiful! The waterfall/caves tour is the best! You will get totally soaked on the tour, and it is not for children or elderly. But it is amazing. The views from Canopy are great as well.

Very friendly staff. Park is rustic but fairly well maintained. Zip lining is a fun experience. Water is refreshing and there are safe spots to just dip in your feet.

A free place... very cheap, anybody can go anywhere inside... people cooking, eating on the aide walk... and road to get there, not the best right now. A beautiful view.

Wonderful place, you can do variety of activities, tour behind the waterfall, tubbing or take a splash in this relaxing water! You can enjoy having lunch there or staying the night in, I go there everytime I can!

Very pretty, with lots of activities like zip lining. Remember a rain coat if you want the best pictures and dont like getting wet. Go to D&D artisanal brewery in nearby Las Vegas for refreshments and food.

Food kind of expensive si if youre going get yourself a meal before but the waterfalls are very nice not much to walk but with 15 min you have more than enough.

The waterfall is a must see! Stunning views from the ziplines that fly over the massive drop of the waterfall. And the hike down into the waterfall is always exhilarating. Highly recommend this beautiful place

The waterfall tour was incredible and well worth the visit! I was a little surprised you HAD to take a tour to the waterfall and you couldnt just walk there yourself, but now I see why. Youre literally blinded by the force of the water. You NEED the guide and the equipment. So much fun!

This place is beautiful, they have zipline, and amazing views of the waterfall, cave tour unfortunately for us we were on a time crunch didnt get to enjoy everything it has to offer. But definitely on a must come back.

The waterfall is absolutely beautiful! They have a swimming area, cabins, and food vendor on the property. The falls are not hard to walk to and the price we paid to get in was only 80 lempiras. Great place for pictures! Id come again.

This place is nice. They have ziplining and a waterfall tour. Bring walking shoes! If you do the waterfall tour bring extra pair of clothes because your going to get soaked since you go into the fall itself.

One of the most beautiful places you’ll ever see. Magical waterfall in the middle of the great Honduran mountains. You have to stay one night in this place and all the adventures they offer. They need to improve the main entrance to all kind of vehicles.

good park. lots of things to do. Park entrance is 80L, Zipline-ing 550L, river tubing 550L, and behind the water fall 300L. Behind the waterfall is fun and can be dangerous, a few times i was up to my neck (im 185 cm/6 feet tall)...good shoes rcommended. Zipline was really cool...waterfall is beautiful and you get a unique experience when you zip past it and over it. friend did river tubing and he said he enjoyed it. park has a few restraunts and cabins and you can swim in the river.

This a beautiful & magical place. Gods creation is perfect. They offer a cafe with bites to eat, activities like zipline & tours all good prices.

The kids enjoyed visiting here. Walk down the path to the water, if you go to the left there is some very shallow water for swimming. If you go to the right and down down down the stairs you will come to great views of the falls. There are little vendors ready to sell you food or ice cream. The zip line looks amazing and well worth the price. Fun place e to go on a hot day.

Didnt stay the night at the resort. I didnt go behind the falls or the zip lining as were on a budget but it looked cool. Really awesome picturesque waterfall though, super nice viewpoint of up top

A great experience. The zip line in front of the waterfall was an amazing view. The walk to sit directly behind a waterfall was an incredible experience. I highly recommend the park. A great place too take family to relax.

Nice place to observe a wonderfull waterfall. Has 43 meters of water fall. It powers a hydroelectric motor nearby.Food and drinks inside might be a bit too overpriced. For example I ended up buying a drink for twice the regular local price.Canopy is another good option available here. (Expect inflated pricesAs well as a place to hang out inside the water.

The waterfall tour is not for the faint of heart, nor is it that spectacular behind the waterfall, but it does provide some good spots to jump from rocks into different parts of the river while providing a picturesque background. Do not go on the inter tube tour unless the water level is incredibly high.

The waterfalls are amazing its a beautiful place with a restaurant on location however parts of the roads are not in really good shape sodimac consider using a four-wheel drive. The admission to the park is very affordable just about $4 and they also offer zip line on location at about $25.

I went to this as part of a tour. The waterfalls are gorgeous. Entry to the part is 70 Limpera or about $3.50. There are options I do recommend the Zip Line Tour. The segment that finally goes over the Waterfall is amazing. You are about 150 in the air. Bring a camera to take some breath taking photos if you do. There is a trail that leads down to the falls. Bring something soft to wipe the mist off of the lens. The zip line tour is 500L which is about $25.00. There are picnic areas, a place to purchase food, benches to sit down. A really nice family environment.
