Theres a lot of renovation when we came here last sunday, i think it is closed on weekends. Overall everything is good esp the view, its overlooking.

The tower and the views are amazing but please DO NOT waste your money on their lousy restaurant. Sadly, the food is a tourist trap, charging over 30€ for a frozen-taste, dry salmon... the worse Ive eaten so far, ever. The beef is just as tasteless and as expensive as the salmon. Make your money and experience worth it visiting Kummisetä for an amazing stake. Even the plates are "good looking", the quality of Puijos dishes is just the same as gas station food. Food quality aside, service is very poor and im our case, a young unexperienced waiter was unwelcoming and rude. Only good things are the views as I mentioned and the "Puijo" and "Torni"local beers.

You can see Kuopio from above, the access to the top is free.There’s a restaurant and cafe to enjoy the view.A must visit place in Kuopio !

Excellent views from the top of the tower, onlooking the Kuopio center and the nearby forested area and the beautiful Kallavesi lake. The rotating restaurant seemed like a fantastic idea even though we didnt eat there. There is a cafe at the top as well. We took the stairs down just for fun and it was actually pretty nice

We had dinner here. Food is really nothing special. Service is friendly. View is really worth the price of the dinner alone.

Surpising view over the area, app. 300 steps or the lift brings you to the top of the toner. It cost a few Euros for a unique expience. Take a Coffee break at the top restaurant. My pictures show a adventure.

The views are magnificent but otherwise the place feels tired and worn. People will visit nonetheless so why bother, perhaps thats the thinking. Still, worth it for the views.

Amazing views from there having a good breakfast and the finish coffee. The nicest option is to get up there through the forest enjoying the nature, its just magic.

Nice view over Kuopio. In good weather you can see very far. If you are brave you can enter the roof terrace in light to medium winds. Or you can enjoy a good cafe in the bistro below the roof terrace. The restaurant one floor below rotates while you sit at the table.

The revolving restaurant view is worth visiting alone but add to it wonderful food and what more can you say. A great experience.

I had fried pike perch from a local lake with a mushroom sauce, it was really great! A very tasty mushroom sauce and the fish was amazing.

Not cheap one, but very representative view for Kuopio. Tables are rotating around about 1 whole turn per hour, so during meal you are able to see whole city. Really recommend starters table, really worth of try.

Went there for the first time and I loved the view. Almost cried because the view was too beautiful.

I went here with my family! Amazing view and the restaurant was amazing! The waitress was taking care us everyone really well. Appetizers were in buffet table and there was variety of amazing dishes. The main course was amazing fish and my brother had the meat. Dessert was Finnish berry flavored ice cream 🍨 The restaurant rotates slowly and you have amazing views of lakes and forest! Def would recommend! They had vegetarian option also in menu. Elevator in the tower if you are worried about needing to walk all the way up :)

Stunningly beautiful view of a true landscape of the Central Finnish city Kuopio can be experienced from this tower. There are also multiple sports activities next to this place held around it throughout the year.

Very nice view. Price for the lift is reasonable. Remember to take the stairs to higher outside level from the restaurant.

Astonishing place, absolutely a must to visit in Kuopio!Theres a coffee place on top of it, is really amazing to drink a coffee and eat something meanwhile looking at the amazing lakes and forests of Kuopio from up there!I also love the background music, absolutely amazing!

Tall tower and great view. Price is reasonable and service was good, but not overly fancy.

Very calm on the top, just wind and wonderful views.And if you want to exercise, try to climb up the stairs ;)Or at least down.

Worth visiting. The entrance fee is 7 euros for adult. There is outside area where you can make nice photos of Kuopio for the top, there is a cafe where you can drink coffee and enjoy the view and there is a rotating restaurant.

I was in Kuopio in autumn of 2018 and its a beautiful place, from this place you really have beautiful views, the islands in the lake it really looks spectacular, and the autumn colours make it even better.

Really wonderful views from up there even in a cloudy day! Hot chocolate with cream in the café was awesome! 🙂

what a great view! theres also a lovely cafe on top, and you can go even further up and to walk and look around on the roof. the restaurant was being renovated when I was there, so I cant say anything about that.

Very nice view over Kuopio and surrounding areas. Tower and restaurant/cafe were under construction on July 2019, so you couldnt buy any refresments, but the sight terrace on the top was in use. You can choose elevator or stairs, but choose the stairs only If you are in good shape.

Amazing views to Kuopio and its surroundings. Beautiful nature including vast forests and 360° lake views.

Food is really good here. I had the roe deer and my wife had the perch. Both were amazing...see photos. The desert was good. My wife had the fake mushroom soup and loved it. The view from the platform is beautiful and takes about an hour to go all the way around. They do take credit cards and with a reservation there is no fee for the tower.

The Puijo Tower gives you the best view possible over Kuopio. If you have the time, try one of the walking routes around the Tower and let yourself be surprised of all beauty of Finlands nature.

Nice historical tower looking over Kuopio. A small cafe at the top and a revolving restaurant. Theres also hiking paths around the tower where you can break a sweat.
