Puente de Dios - Tourist attraction in Tamuin, Mexico
Puente de Dios in Tamuin
Description
Privilege
This place was beautiful! I have nothing negative to say. Just make sure to take water shoes and a good water case for you phone 👌🏽
MoreBeautiful experience almost like your in a movie! Pictures don’t do it justice😳
MoreThe best place I have visited ever in my life.It was a little bit scary when we see the flow of the water. Get the safety jacket from the top. we need to walk down around 350 steps. Its easy to get down, But difficult to climb up. Locker rooms are available near . Get the shoes as well.
MoreBeautiful area to relax.
Had alot of fun with family. This place is amazing. The caves are exceptional and the water is crystal clear.
MoreAmazing - no other words! Jump into the water and swim into the cave and come out the other side - stunning waterfalls that are strong and beautiful the whole time and so refreshing!
MoreAwesome adventure if your going through Sierra Gorda. Easy drive with about 15 minutes of it being “off road” on a narrow bumpy road.Once you get there you have a few options for parking and plenty of spots to buy food or water related apparel. You pay for guide who speaks solely in Spanish so be prepared for that. We loved our guide and learned a lot during our hike. It’s a beautiful place and once you get to the end there is a cave with a natural spring waterfall that is truly refreshing. Bring water shoes if you come during the rainy season and bring a towel/water shoes if you plan on swimming. Would do it again in a heart beat!
MoreWords cannot describe how amazing this place is.Make sure you ask at the entrance if the life jackets are included in the price, if not you can either rent it outside or inside. All the places would rent you the life jackets otherwise you cannot get into the waters.
MoreThere is a lot of walking but is worth it
AMAZING! Take Chuki The Tour Guide, he is such a life saver!
Hire a guide , ask for el pelón or Aldo , he will get you places normal guides cant
MoreGood swimming with family
326 steps so if not in shape forget it.It s a great place to jump in a crystal blue water
MoreEntry fee cost: $70 pesosParking: $20 ( But there are multiple lots that might have different prices)Life jacket rental: $30 ( But there are multiple people renting life jackets that might have different prices)Super beautiful place. I would go back. The water was very comfortable even when there is no sun shining into the pool. There is a great cliff to jump from, cave to swim through, waterfall to swim behind and jump into, and a lot off cool things to look at. Life guards on duty.
Morecool place to have los of fun if u like the water
This town is so adorable, and Puente de Dios is paradise on earth, period. La Huasteca Potosina is worth every single one of the 4000 miles I traveled to see it!
MoreClean cold water! Need to rent a life saver, hang To the ropes ,dangerous path slippery rocks always watch your step No wheel chair access.old people beware!!
MoreIf you are not fit or able to walk up 300 steps dont do it I about died but I dont regret it its was so beautiful.. took me 20 min to walk down and 1.5 hours to go up lol but worth it
MoreSuch a beautiful place to visit! There had been a lot of rain and the river was flooding so we couldnt swim. Normally the water is clear blue. Still a beautiful place to visit. There is a decent hike done stairs (and then back upso make sure youre up for it.
MoreIts like heaven or the garden of eden. That good!! I will visit again, God willing. You got to go see and feel.
MoreOnly rating high because it is so beautiful. It has been exploited and is way too touristy. Try to go in the off season.
MoreAmazing place. I love it!!! Recommended for everyone, you can enjoy a lot with your family and friends.
MoreThe experience was priceless, we have a very nice time, if you like hiking is the right adventure.
MoreIncredible views! You could spend the whole day here as there are so many different spots to stop and enjoy. The main/ busiest area is pretty much the first stop of the trip ..my advice is jump in as soon as you get there and as early as possible - it gets extremely busy and it tends to get very loud. We enjoyed exploring the area for about half an hour before moving on (it was a bit too rowdy for us).The best part is if you walk further down its much quieter and it is truly beautiful. You can find your own little spot to sit, swim or explore.Only warning I can offer is, the walk down and back up is quite taxing so if youre not used to hiking/ steep inclines you may struggle. Im of moderate health and found it ok with a few stops along the way.Definitely worth a visit. There are lockers at the bottom for any bags or towels so its also worth taking a few snacks so you dont have to walk all the way back up for food.
MoreAmazing place, plenty of water and small waterfalls
Awesome place. Great acces. Ask for camp grounds as the main grounds are closed. Ask for Mauricio.
MoreThis place is just a Heaven on earth. I suggest you to arrive early in the morning (I believe they open at 9AMso you will profit with less people. There is a significant distance to walk down to reach the waterfall/basin. The vegetation, the color of the water, it is a magnificent overall combination. To gain time arrive already with your bathing suit. For the parking lot, the first one is the biggest but not the cheapest. No matter if you go alone, with your love one, with your family or with friends, you will have a great time. Consider at least 4 hours. On your way out you will continue to profit of more sightings. It will be an excellent experience.
MorePuente de dios was awesome. Too much water to swim in September but its specracular
MoreMost visit place in la Huasteca. If you have to pick one place not to miss, this is the one. Will not see other one like it, anywhere else. Guaranteed.
MoreGreat place with amazing and stunning waterfalls. Definitely a family location. Caution with slippery rocks and strong currents by the waterfall.
MoreIts very beautiful place with waterfall. Its for all age people. Either you can go relax or swim in water or you can go for extreme adventure where you can go hiking, climbing waterfall through tunnels and jump with water flow. Its an awesome experience. You can jump from 10mts and 20 mts in the water base and its totally safe. You can get a guide to get you through place and adventure for just MXN 50.You can Rent a life jacket for MXN 30.The water is very clean. To reach to the place from parking you need to walk for a km it hardly take 10 minutes. For adventure route it take total 1 hour including jumps. You have shower, washroom, changing rooms facility. There are lockers near the waterfall.Place has ample parking space, have lots of food/snnacks option and some souvenir shops. Its amust go place. Rest photos says it all
MoreGreat place to spend the whole day¡
Nice place to enjoy with family. Come prepared to jump in the water. Avoid extra stuff to carry. Food and drinks are available. Open until 6 pm and it has a place to park confortably.
MoreAmazing experience. You do have to walk downstairs a lot but its worthit every step. You dont necessarly need a tourist guide unless you are afraid of the dark and water. It is totally ok with you guiding yourself woth the ropes provided in the lake.
MoreIts so great its really beautiful definitely recommend but you do need to jump in to go inde the water and you need to climb up to go out of the water, its definitely a must go if you are near
MoreBeautiful place to see Gods handiwork. The buildings need renovations, garbage cleaned up, stricter standards for food stands, and new restrooms. Some of the food stands do not meet the standards of most tourist, like cleanliness.
MoreThe most beautiful place, I had ever visited, it is breath taking. So much fun . Pictures do not give it justice. It so much beautiful in person.
MoreAbsolutely amazing! Crystal clear waters. The hike in/out can be tiresome but well worth it. Try to get there early to get pics without the crowds. Make sure to have water shoes, its safer on the rocks.
MoreThis place was very beautiful. It surprised me at how nice it was taken care of. The views look amazing. The water was cold but not intolerable. I definitely would like to visit again and try spending an entire day there instead of just a little bit of time.
MoreMost beautiful waterfall and underwater cave I’ve been to! Can’t wait to go back. Many stairs to go down, but totally worth is. Such an amazing experience. Went with family and husband and there all begging to go back. Will soon visit again with more family.
MoreIt is really nice but dont Go during raining season
Beautiful place, with wonderful natural scenarios and clear waters, the hiking may be a challenge, and the steps can get very slippery, bring appropriate shoes.
MoreThe actual place is gorgeous but it gets 4 stars simply because its a b***ch walking all them steps to get to it. But its totally worth it, its just not worth the way ur legs feel afterwards. Still recommend to anyone to check out
MoreBeautiful natural place. It can be very crowded. Theres plenty of space to swim. They sell plastic bags for cellphones so they dont get wet. They also rent swimming vests and sell swimming shoes.
MoreOne of the most beautiful places in La Huasteca
One of the best attractions and natural beauty you can find. 40 pesos per person. Recomendable to bring life west, if not 20 pesos to rent. Amazing place, a lot of stairs to go down and up.
MoreTry to avoid raining season because water color wont give you the nice view these waterfalls are able to provide. Also when river stream gets to strong some of the places will be close to the public and none will be allowed to swim there. The place worth the visit from far away but is recommended to plan the visit off season to enjoy the spot at most. Eastern is not an option because place is small and doesnt have the services to handle crowds.
MoreGreat place to visit just not on Spring break. Way too crowded. Also, it doesnt have any access for handicap people. Elder and pregnant ladies might find it difficult to get the bottom and back up. There are over 300 steps plus rocks to go down and climb back up. I saw some babies at the river but I personally wouldnt recommend it. The current is hard once you get in the water.
MoreThis is the BEST naturally pretty place Ive been to in my life. Absolutely out of this world. Do not book tour companies or travel agencies to enjoy this place. You can rent life jackets and jump into the pool by yourself - its completely safe. The current is quite strong but there are ropes to swim across. The cave is even prettier!
MoreWent with my husband and daughter after visiting the Cascadas de Tamasopo. The hike down the mountain is a little rough but the climb back up is brutal if you arent in great shape. Its most definitely worth it though. The place is like something out of a fairytale.
