Great food and good prices. Fed 13 for under $200.00, including tip!

Generic, run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Didnt keep my water filled, didnt bring food all at one time, though there were only two other parties in the restaurant. Space is dated and showing wear, lack of maintenance and cleanliness. Dont know how this restaurant rates 4.3. I am sure there is better, even in Coos Bay.

All Mexican food to me, is the same....at least here in Oregon lol ....so this place was just average! Nice waitress... it was SO hot in there tho!

Always a favorite. The staff is friendly. The food is great. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and bright.

Horrible service the owner was extremely arrogant an rude. My wife ordered Chicken she got Pork. When we complained he said he didnt care an that we could go to another restaurant. It was the worst dining experience Ive ever experienced in CoosBay.

Great food, atmosphere, and service. The green Chile pork is really flavorful and the pico de Gallo is on point. Highly recommend visiting.

Great meal, friendly service. Owner is fabulous and we enjoyed our experience. Definitely recommend if youre in the area. I ordered the taquito appetizer with the guac and sour cream and was not disappointed. Could only eat half. Huge portion. Hubby got the enchilada and burrito meal with rice and beans, he too didnt finish. Enough said

A must stop for us when in the area, great Mexican food and drinks. Affordable.

Absolutely love this place. Martin is always so friendly and eager to take great care of his customers with hospitality and a fantastic meal. Oralia knows her menu front to back and loves every customer as if they are family. Great variety and fantastic atmosphere.

Service ruined it. I regret wasting money here. Tostada isn’t great either, chimichanga are smaller than other restaurants.

The food was delicious and they even gave me the option to make the burrito I ordered gluten free by using corn tortillas the server was excellent, quick, and nice! I would definitely recommend people to eat here!

Was not impressed. I ordered a margarita and got flavored water. No tequila in it at all. So i cancelled my food and got attitude for it when they were trying to short change me on no tequila in a margarita.

Food was good, nice service. Loved the dessert sopapillas and the fried ice cream!

First time eating here. Tje service was excellent and the food was so good. Nice little zing to the salsa. My plate of enchiladas was sizzling hot.

No water but drinks were good food had flavor not alot but enough for it. Service was good since we did come in like 30 mins before closing. Never a sigh or anything so that was pretty nice.

We stopped in because pretty much everything else in town was closed and we saw a group heading in so figured it might be a fun place. There were only 4 parties in the whole place, not sure if that is because of Covid or just the small town. The waitresses tag teamed all parties so they were very attentive. The salsa was really good and they made fresh guac for me because they were out, it was damn near perfect seasoning! My Chicken enchilada was ok and the beef taco was great (seasoning was on point again). My BF wasnt crazy about the chalupa but he never had one before and it was HUGE but his enchilada was really good. We also had Margs (the step up from houseand they were SO GOOD! Even had two...pace yourself because they are huge LOL. Overall one of the best Mexican places I have ate at in a really long time. Thanks for having us you all are doing a great job!!!!

Stopped on a whim passing through town. The restaurant has entrances from two blocks making parking in a tourist location easier. Service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent, fresh salsa and guac. I recommend the pollo dishes. Me gusta mucho.

Last night Wed 7/21/21 we had one of the best dinner experiences ever, i forgot our waitress name, but she was the best. The food was amazing, they even suggested us dining in rather than doing take out and they stayed a half hour past closing time for us. We cant wait to go back here. The food honestly was the best Mexican food weve had.

Best Mexican restaurant. You ever get to go here, do it. I wouldnt suggest something as much as this, unless it was actually this good. Always come here if you can.

Amazing service and delicious food. They were able to accommodate our very large group of 23 people 30 minutes before closing after being denied by several others because they couldnt accommodate our large party. Thank you for the top notch service.

I would give zero if I could. I just attempted to enter the restaurant with my daughter, mother and her small service dog. A tall man immediately told us to leave and continued even after my mother presented her papers for her service animal. Once he let us talk I informed him of the laws and he put impossible rules on us. Basically the dog cant move or else we are fined. This is not legal and my mother is having and episode as a result of the embarrassment. Nobody should raise their voice at an elderly woman like this. She broke no laws.

We lways love going to Pueblo Nuevo. The food is too notch. I NEED to know what they marinade their skirt steak in for #27 because it is the bomb bomb *drool*.Service is always fantastic, they treat their new customers like regulars.Their drinks are really good too. Better than the bars in town.Highly recommend if you havent gotten a chance to try them yet.

The food was okay. It took is 30 minutes to get water and place an order. They overcharged for mid quality food. When we received our food it was incorrect. I ordered chicken and got really spicy shredded beef. The salsa that is served when you sit down was too spicy 🔥 📛

The service was outstanding, but on my honest opinion, the food was mediocre at best, it was a bit bland and was lacking in good Mexican flavor.You wont be disappointed in your servings, the dinner plates were large, and the portions were generous so you should easily get full.Maybe it was just me, I a bit picky when it comes to my Mexican food, Ill have to try them again, just to make sure I was right about the flavor, because other than that they were outstanding.

Very bland. There was only one salsa available (mild redand the chicken in my taco salad was not seasoned much at all. The best item was the pico de gallo, and they charged 4.95 for it as a side dish.

burrito greasy and microwaved, if you order with green sauce its over $14, no rice, no beans very low quality. felt like puking the rest of the day. NEVER EVER EAT HERE ended up a Colin cleanser

Its never usually very busy which can be a plus if youre looking for a quick meal. The portions are much much smaller than what you would get at any other Mexican restaurant Ive been to. Good if prefer smaller portions, not so good if you like taking home leftovers.

This was a nice little restaurant to visit. Unfortunately, we visited around closing time so it felt a little empty, but the service was still fantastic. The food was good quality, and the waitress we had was very kind. I definitely enjoyed my visit, and would gladly return.

Having been raised in Arizona, it is difficult to find a Mexican restaurant in Oregon that quite compares to what I had growing up. I would say that Pueblo Nuevo is not the same but still manages to be pretty tasty. They have very reasonably priced and portioned lunch combos, and a wide variety of drinks available (including horchata, which we ordered - delicious!). We were happy with our meals and would recommend this place to others.

Good food for reasonable prices. The menu offers a lot of possibilities, so be prepared to make a hard decision... It was a huge portion. I had something flame grilled and it really was an experience when the waitress came with the plate. The food was fuming. I couldnt see my wife for minutes. After the steam was gone I really enjoyed the well seasoned food.

Visited with my grandson who attends college there. I had the burritos, chicken and beef with verde sauce. He had the seafood enchilada. The chips were o.k., ordered queso and it was not very good, very lumpy and not much taste. The rice and beans were typical, nothing special. Grandson got sick in the night from his dinner; bad seafood or too much cheese and sauce? Only one server, but it was a Tuesday night, and kids were going home from college so not much activity in town.

I have never had Mexican food that I haven’t loved! Well, unfortunately, there’s a first time for everything! The taco meat was like sloppy joe meat and the chili relleno was not crispy as advertised! To top it all off, they made us pay for the meal that was returned, saying there was no manager on the premises! I would definitely not recommend this place!

Some of the best Mexican food in southern Oregon. I ordered my favorite the chimichanga and it was very tasty. My wife had the carne asada which was very good as well. Definitely worth a stop if youre in town.

We got there pretty late on Cinco De Mayo, but they still served us. The waitress was extremely sweet. Some of the best service I’ve had in awhile. The food was delicious as well. I got shredded beef enchiladas would highly recommend them, but I filled up on the chips and salsa because I just couldn’t stop. Perfect salsa!

Martin was fantastic!! He was our server and he brought everything as we ordered. She had a margarita that was legit!! I had the 4 tacos and she had the enchiladas and a taco. The food was fantastic! It was a hearty amount of food. We walked away and couldn’t finish what we were served! This little place is great! We definitely will be back...

The food was good but it took a really long time to get to the table. While we were waiting the server accused us of stealing a margarita glass, then checked the cameras and apologized. Very bizarre and wont be going back.

These guys need to get it together. I brought my family of 4 there and they continuisly screwed up. We asked if the refried bean had lard, they do so but they told me the whole pintos don’t. We were very specific about being vegetarian (even ordered a chicken dish without th chickenand after we ordered the whole beans the gave us refried beans. The excuse was that they had mashed the rest of their beans. Then there was beef in the lettuce on the plate. I had to scrape the refried beans off of the plate and take chili colorado out of my mouth. Those cooks suck.

I know good Mexican food, and I felt like I was back home in Sonora.

I absolutely love this place. It had good pricing and the food is exceptional. Service is great and it is within walking distance of the Best Western that is downtown. My entire family enjoyed this restaurant after a hard day of riding.

Went in with a ton of people mostly children. The staff was very accommodating, so sweet and polite. Everything was perfect, very clean,delicious food, super fun relaxing atmosphere. Definitely will be going back. Not a one of us had a complaint.

Friendly service in quirky decor. Fajitas were very good.
