Pub Sarmata in Lublin

Excellent stop in the Old Town with typical pub inside and two outdoors seating options including the patio. Sadly, when we visited, the plant pots had fresh fertiliser which "aroma" was distributed by ventilation working full power in current hot summer - hence the one missing star.Highly respectable beef tartare (served in a way that looks very nice but might be a stumble when sharing), refreshingly bold and delicious pizza-like take on the traditional Lublin onion bread. Generally, the food leans toward Italian ways, including bread with olive oil and/or balsamico served with the tartare. Which is lovely considering Lublins history and resulting flavours.The St. Michael witbier should satisfy any fan of the Polish craft brews.Update: I highly recommend the Test Board of beers. With almost 30 beers on the menu, most of them craft stuff, the 4x125ml set works wonderfully.

Excellent food, craft beer, the best onion rolls in the world. Burger with pulled pork was sooo good I had to order it next day also. Interior design is very nice, and service is very nice. We will be back every time we are in Lublin.

Best place to be for a cold beer and pork ribs . To be honest , this has become my regular eating place each I am visiting to Lublin. I love the vibe of the old city and the waitresses try to deliver on time much as the place is always populated.

A little bit expensive. But. Deliscious ribs and beer for us and yammy burgers + mojito lemonade for kids made our evening.

Fantastic food and climate. Suggest to sit not on front garden but on patio behind. Fodd portions are enough big and I sugest to order it in "waves" to figure out if you need more or it is already enough 😀Pub inside have lot to offer in term of coctails, hard alcohols and craft beer. You can watch sport events there as well.

Highly recommend if your intention is to try local food. Great service and friendly atmosphere will make you feel like home, wherever you come from. Make sure you try local beers, Lublin is famous for its breweries!

Almost broke my tooth with 1 centimeter stone in their bread. After, I informed a waitress about this, she took the stone and when she came back she started to apologize not to me, but to my dad. This is just hilarious. Basically, they didnt do anything about it. Awful service.

The best pub in Lublin. It is a really cool location in the middle of the old Town. There is even a small garden in the back where you can enjoy good food and drinks also in the sunny weather. The restaurant is only reachable by foot as in the old Town you can not drive. The food is delicious and the service usually very fast. They have one of the biggest collections of beers here in the area as well.

Great food, great beer, cozy tables

We ordered 2 regional burgers, 2 fries and 2 pints of beer. The burgers were bad, we couldnt eat it so we left it. Thanks to fries and beers we were full but the burger was not it. The meat was super hard, there wasnt any juice and overall it didnt taste good. Id maybe go here again for the beers and maybe for the ambiance but nothing else.

Great food especially local soup- Forszmak and Placek Rycerski - huge potato pancake with pork goulash, local honey beer was great as well all very reasonably priced, I would definitely return. On other side the service was slow and waitresses could have clear our table quicker between the meals but overall great experience.

Great food with amazing interior of the place. After our first visit we would definitely come back here soon to taste other dishes than burgers. Highly recommended.

Burgers 10/10, decent prices. Making reservations are bad though, you can only do those via internet and few hours later you receive a response whether its accepted or not, if it isnt you have to go through whole process again

Typical pub, in the old town. Meat is definitely great, worth to try the rips (żeberkaand burgers, but I also tasted the rest and worth as well. No problem to speak English. Fast service and good prices. I totally dont like this led blue circle light in the entrance (doesnt it look trash??but despite this small detail the restaurant is recommended. Also lots of choices of beers. Polecam 😁

Lovely place, with 31 draught beers!Excellent food, both dishes shown were around €7 - 8. Lots of beers on offer, something for all tastes, served by knowledgeable staff who are happy to go the extra mile. English spoken if needed.

A really decent Polish pub serving westernised food and drink.Its sprawled over three levels of typical western bar atmosphere - TVs with sports channels adorn some corners whilst waitresses float around to serve you your food at your table.I had an extremely cheesy vegetarian burger there and although it tasted lovely, it felt very artery-blocking with its predominantly melted cheese patty and wouldnt have boded well for my skin the next morning.Overall, a very good place to visit if youre a tourist as they speak English here and its a good way to end an evening.

Very decent food for a tourist trap. Large portions and the meat seems to be fresh as there is a butcher upstairs of the restaurant selling fresh meat. Had a good time with friends!

My second time in this pub. Very fresh and delicious food wide selection of beers and kind staff. The internal garden is very nice.The bill is a surprise for its cheapness!! I would like to be there again. Super recommended!!!!!! Ribs are super tender and cesary salad super delicious......😍😍😍😍😍😍

Attractively placed in Old Town in Lublin. Good place for everyone who wants to eat something tasty (but rather unhealthyand drink craft beers. Stuff is very helpful, kind and provides great visual experience ;). One of my favourite places. I am getting here back with my friends with a real pleasure.

Amazing place for a beer lover, 30 taps, all of them Polish, house beer, huge portions of food, best possible location in the middle of Old Town and price is unbeatable. Attentive and fast service. Card, cash, highly recommended

The burguer is really good, but depending of the waiter/waitress they dont allow you to order extra bacon/cheese or to remove the salad that comes with the dish.

A wide variety of craft beers on the tap, 31 to be exact and I loved it. I had really hoppy IPA and my wife drank strawberry wheat beer, both great. We had a Regional Burger as a meal which was quite tasty, missed some BBQ sauce in it as far as Im concerned. For sport fans, you can watch sport games live in there. Recommend the place in 100%

Super nice place! I have been there at the evening when live piano music was played, and this made this place very romantic and relaxed. I would say it is very popular between locals because there were no empty tables. Food is very nice, expecialy burgers and ribs! And I was very happy to try special bear from small breweries. And at last the prices are very reasonable.

Nice pub with great selection of crafted beer and regional food. Quite popular and usually crowded even though the place is very big (three floors!). Worth visiting once or twice.
