Airy traditional pub with sofas and standard lamps, park-side beer garden, boules and weekend DJs.
Very disappointed. Would give zero. We came here after I heard it was also a Bodeans and very much enjoyed the Bodeans at Tower Hill, so was very much looking forward to trying the food at pub on the park. We ordered 2 chicken burgers and 2 beef burgers (as it was a Sunday menu there were less of the traditional meat dishes that Bodeans do so well at the Tower Hill branch). All burgers came out burnt. The beef burgers were burnt on both sides and the chicken was very chargrilled! So burnt that it left a nasty burnt after taste that remained way after we finished our dinners and went on our way. Very disappointed given how much I enjoyed the food at the other Bodeans.
The nachos with pulled pork were delicious! The place and the terrace is very nice. The waiter that carved the pumpkin was cute. Heheee
I was apart of the sporting fans who were there last night. Staff were rude and arrogant. They had a sign up in English, then shouted at the Portuguese people when they couldn’t read it. Absolutely disgraceful. One of the girls behind the bar shouted at some of us when we raised our hands to try and get served, which was uncalled for “do not wave at me or will not serve you” . I understand you were busy. But I’m sure you made great income as well, But staff were rude and I would go as far to say xenophobic.
Location of course is very nice , just attached to London Fields, the pub is ok in general bit messy and dirty
This place has vibes and is so chill, always pop in with my dog to use the looloo and grab a coffee, this place has amazing energy
Staff are wonderful, atmosphere brilliant and the foods great. I would recommend Pub on the park to all my friends
Came for a catch up and a pint. Ended up ordering the beef brisket roast, and it was delicious. A little bit more meat wouldve made it perfect!
If you are disabled this is the last place to go to have any drinks, toilet are downstairs and the steps are so difficult to manage... Drinks are the usual ones, they have a nice outdoor patio but the inside look a bit rundown and messy...
Good beer but hilarious food prices. £24 for 12 average chicken wings
Good location, good crowd, nice inside. Experience at the bar was poor, hence 3 star
Nice pub, gathers a younger crowd, busy, good vibes and music, friendly staff.
Fun in the sun. Good range of drinks and loads of outside (and its coveredseating. Reasonable range of food and lots of veggie options.
Definitely perfect place for Sunday lunch ! My Sunday roast was really amazing, glass of refreshing pimms and I dont need nothing else to feel happy. 😋
Has been a favourite for many years, though I don’t visit often anymore. It has a great location but an ordinary selection of drinks, served with a smile
Great pub, very efficient staff and friendly crowd. Only negative was that our outside booking didnt have any shade/cover.
Lovely pub but bad for football. They play loud music through the whole game, kind of ruins the atmosphere, no commentary.
Came to watch the football, music was blasting the entire time. Majority of the punters also were the same. Read the room and keep the music down till after the game
Great place for grabbing a drink in summer whilst enjoying the park and accompanting antics of London Fields. Food is okay.
Great for a refreshing drink. Nice place to sit in the back onto the park. Staff kind. Sunday lunches Great. Just could do with a bit of a clean.
Great spot. If you get there around 12 you can have the pick of the pub. Leave it 30-45 mins the place is rammed. Good beer gardens and in this weather whats not to like.
Great pub to watch live sports a short stroll from Broadway Market. Lots of TV’s outside on the terrace.
Good beer choice, however I didnt noted any bitters.Feels like old pub style. I was taking my beer away to park.Later I used very good function room in the basement. Away from other guests, very private, with separate entrance from the park.Snacks we had were average. Not bad and not great.Difficult to find parking space in case you motorized.I would like to come back.
Plenty of outside space. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great place to stop by when walking through London Fields. Had lunch earlier but the burgers on other patrons plates looked fabulous.Aspels cider super refreshing on a hot day. Enjoyed our visit.
The location is fantastic and the outside spaces are wonderful. Ive been going on and off for years so really like the place. My only criticism.. The staff... Some only seem to be able to conjure up one word answers to questions and can be a little abrasive. Also the music can be a little too loud at times.
Really lovely place, especially in the sun. Bar really well staffed too.🙂The food however is awful, especially the vegan food we tried. Horrible clearly oven baked chips (soggy and limp, yet somehow dry and flavourlessand cold hot dogs. Quite disappointing 😔
A burger and chips that tasted like they were cooked yesterday and heated up.Most takeaways would be a better option.
Loved this place. Very crowded but you can take your beer to the park.
Very Hackney!! Definitely recommend..
Amazing location, especially out in the marquee. Unfortunately the food was a dissapointment. A smoked brisket should be lush and soft, but this was hard and massively salty. The ribs were cooked well, but again over salted to the point they were almost inedible. :-(It was a Wednesday, so maybe we caught them on a bad day? Because of the setting I will try again, hoping for something that wont spike my blood pressure quite so much.
Pretty standard pub with good drinks. Friendly people, INCREDIBLY busy at the weekends and in the summer. The location is excellent.
I used to work here so Ive seen what happens when the toilets flood so Id never eat here but its ok for a pint. If you look at the veranda you can see an 80s backhander occupy the road with extra space much like whats happening now with the parklets. Im not a fan of either or rickety tables designed to cause drink spillage. Room to improve.
Nice pub! Great atmosphere on a weekend. I wouldnt think there is ever a quiet drink opportunity at the weekend here - more a casual club - but had good music and attracted a really friendly crowd. Will definitely be coming back! Only criticism is how grotty it got... but thatd be hard to address with how many people were there!
Quite a scene to hang out. On nice days, the pub is filled with all sorts of Hackney individuals, enjoying the excellent London Fields view from the extensive terrace. Its busy, but definitely a center of gravity on the park.
Great place to enjoy after a walk in the park or the canal. Great terrace garden and very delicious food.
I went for a drink and dinner with an elderly neighbour of mine who is in his 90s and the staff were really helpful and accommodating - food and drink were rated 5/5 by my neighbour. No accessible toilet unfortunately, but again the staff were very kind helping my neighbour and I with the steep stairs.
Lovely place. Great staff. Good food at a good price.Football was a bit loud - especially as only one man was watching! But still a great place in a super area.
Possibly one of the best pubs in uk but definitely in Hackney. It’s a great pub all year round but especially in the summer,Where you can enjoy a cold drink on the terrace while overlooking the londonfields park. And there are tables outside too.Always trendy and busy especially weekends. Food is really good with great vegan offerings.
Great spot for a large group of friends. The areas outside are fab all have electric heaters. I’ve only had drinks and a pudding here but the chocolate brownie was honestly 10/10 and huge!!!!!
I was lucky enough to meet friends here for Sunday Roast and I had a great time! The food was yummy and the space gave a chill/cool vibe, definitely recommend this place! I’d like to go back when it’s warm to enjoy the outdoor areas more.
The Sunday roast dinners are always special in this establishment. Worth getting a spot outside with a heater if you dont like sports on TVs around the bar. Plenty of space. Great staff. Wonderful location and friendly atmosphere.
Traditional no-nonsense East End pub. We went for Sunday roast which was a meaty size and priced much cheaper then the ones on Broadway market.
We loved coming here on a Sunday afternoon - as friday/ Saturday can be a bit too busy. Its perfect for a quiet and relaxed afternoon with drinks, lovely vegan nachos sharing platter and the formula 1.The staffs super attentive and very helpful, sweet.
Great location, lot of nice outside spots, welcoming staff & decent food. Go for the Lagunitas IPA which is great.
Great spot, literally in the park!Awesome atmosphere, beautiful view, friendly people and lots of space 👌
A great pub to enjoy a pint and the outdoor beer garden. Food is really refined and home made and not the standard gastro pub food. And they have the social distancing all figured out and hand desinfectant is available at multiple locations.
Really lovely pub with a good variety of draught beer and really nice food. On sunny days is just the perfect place. Social distance measures are on point, which is very important
Loved this pub great atmosphere and cool outside area, normal selection of beers and big screen TVs for the football. It was absolutely packed when I went and had to stand, but it was worth it to see Liverpool loose.
Went here for a birthday party. Good locationlots of seating big tables, good drinks choice, also 2 real ales, pub food. But £30.00 for a mediocre bottle of Proseco What a rip off .
Good spot. Gets incredibly crowded if the weather is decent and theres live sports on. The Brits love getting a few pints in them once the sun is shining! The park has an epic market close by on Saturdays.
I went to Pub on the Park to hang out with friends on a Thursday night. The pub has a nice atmosphere and pleasant decor; with a lot of tables and a good size yard with additional outside space.Had a few drinks and some finger food, everything was nice, maybe not outstanding but great to accompany with a few pints.
