Pub Mont Fort in Sion

Maybe the best pub in Verbier. All locals would say it is. 5 stars

Probably the best ribs I ever had in a restaurant. True smoked ribs with tasty bbq sauce with a hint of spiciness. Only reason I’m not giving a 5 star is because my beer was room temperature.

A wonderful pub all year round with great seating both indoors and outdoors to catch the sun, sunset or even heaters in the winter. The food and drinks are exactly what you want for a pub night out. Darts for those who like them, and really fun live music evenings when they host them.

Really nice pub to have some beers and burguers! Best stop after some hikking or biking.

Might have been good before but we were underwhelmed. Had Shed the night before and was far better.

For some reason they don’t accept 18 year olds anymore even if the drinking age in Switzerland is 16+! They would not explain this change at the door. One of my friends was let in and they let him wait for fifteen minutes at the bar only to be told afterwards they saw him but would not serve him because he was seen with me and a friend of mine, after they let us in! Some of the staff are cool but some really are not. Also I still don’t have an explanation for the change in door policy. Really disappointed!

The best events to attend here is the live music. Sometimes there is little to no activities, even basic pub games like darts, pool and music are lacking.

This pub is up a side street but centrally located. Free beer vouchers are available in local hotels. Live music from around 7pm. Good seating inside and out. Its typically filled with a young crowd. The food served is high quality. Woody decor.

The greatest bar 🍺 Cool afterski, a lot of place, nice music, happy hour 4-5 pm. Very tasty ribs 👏 Recommended !)

That is a very nice place to have a beer after skiing, or after work. Its well situated, and there is a bus stop 50mts (free bus shuttle in Verbier). The food is good, the atmosphere great and plenty of space inside. The terrace is great to seat around little fires. Overall great place. Recommended.

Lively bar, and a quieter area downstairs. Also seated area outside with gas-fired decorative logs on the tables, which is lovely.

Good place for Apres Ski, surprisingly inexpensive drinks, especially compared to the average in Verbier. Outside on the terrace, the have a bunch of seating groups, arranged around a fire place each - bummer they did not turn it on, at least not as long as we were there, even though it started to get a bit chilly. Spacious interior that seems comfortable with a bit of modern edge to it, setting Pub Mont Fort apart from other more rustic pubs.

Not too much to say about it, its a great little place and decent drinks.

Food was lovely & not badly priced for Verbier the atmosphere was good & really busy .

Love love love it! Happy hour 4pm till 5pm 4 franc a pint.. if you want an outdoor table with a fire then dont get there after 3:30pm.. so bring soppy mates that cant do a full day ski and send them there then

Great local pub. Shows live sport, has good bar food and is festive with seasonnaires frequenting the bar often.

Its the quintessential pub in verbier. Popular enough for both tourists and locals. Definitely more for the younger crowd. Theres always something going on at the pub.

Great little pub in Verbier - went here three nights while staying in town. Very friendly lad behind the bar - spoke English and French. Worth mentioning that they take Euros and Swiss Francs.Pub has multiple large TVs which were all showing the world cup games. Lots of seating inside and out, with additional space downstairs.Food is delicious - order at the bar and you are given a buzzer to collect direct from the kitchen when it is ready. My only complaint that it was a little pricey, but i think that is more a Switzerland thing rather than being unique to this particular pub.

We hit up this spot every time we visit Verbier. Excellent food. Fun night life (later in the evening). And good beer options.

Perfect place to enjoy the sun and eat delicious mountain cheese. Not so easy to get there but it is what makes it so special as well

Great pub but be wary of theft as my husband had his glasses stolen on Tuesday - he had left them on the table in front of him and they were taken.. probably taken as a joke but an expensive one!

Great pub with very nice waiters. A place to meet after a day in the mountain. They have all kinds of drinks and their food is really good. Hamburgers, chilli con carne, salads... The kitchen closes at 23h. Terrace closes at 24h. They have a smoking room. Bathrooms could be cleaner though... Great place to enjoy your time.

Place looks very nice but its easy to be missed unless you are told to... live music on Sunday last time I went.... the burgers look very tasty and with real potatoes fries (hope they dont change)
