The Pu Mat National Park head office looks like the website: nothing new since eight to ten years. Many sections are empty or outdated, even more empty links in English.Nothing of all the interessting offers and tours are available. Visitors are looked at like intruders and sent back. The area urgently needs competent support and investment to touristically promote the park. And dont tell is for Covid ... the rusty paint is too old.(August 2020; be aware: most comments do refer to the beautiful and interesting region as a whole, and NOT to parks head office).

One of the most beautiful areas of Vietnam. The people are very friendly and hospitable.
MoreWell preserved national park.
Great park and waterfalls! It is def. worth the trip to go and see the soaring Keh Kem water fall. You can swim in the clear pools below the 150m falls!
MoreOMG....
Good
This national park is definitely off the beaten path, but worth it even if for no other reason that its effectively empty of tourists.
Moremmm
Very good for trekking and relax
So wild and green park
Beautiful, intact tropical forest with giant trees and special local culture and food
MoreIn the middle of the National Garden there is a very good taste of cháo lươn...
MoreWe went to Pu Mat National Park specifically to explore the jungles. After reading about the Pu Mat NP headquarters we decided this would be an obvious place to start a trek. Unfortunately, this place was almost completely abandoned with no one on duty who could help us or give us information about getting into the proper park. Someone then told us we could just go in over a locked gate and walk around. This area was very disturbed and not wild at all, it was disappointing. On the other hand, we went to find Khe Kiem waterfalls, which was fairly straight forward after asking a local for directions, and this was absolutely magical. The scale of the waterfall is amazing and with no one else there we could really appreciate the area. Another place worth a walk is Sang Le forest, but yet again there was no obvious entrance point or gate so we just stopped on the road side, left our bike with some trusty locals and had a short walk.
