Simply one of the oldest and best nightclubs in Moscow. An absolute must see for every city guest. Nothing to say to the natives - everybody knows the legendary "Propka"

Def A+, tasty food, happy prices for the center of the center, this place act as a restaurant at daytime, but as a club at nights. Overall interesting place to visit

Security of this place behaves in an absolutely inappropriate way. During my visit, I needed to go outside for a while, while my friends and things remained inside. They refused to let me in back for some reason, without even explaining the reasons. I do not advise anyone visiting this place.

Only cash is accepted at the bar. Drinks are okay, nothing special. The DJ is great! Loved the music! Good vibes and spacious, nos extremely crowded.

How new year party might start at 1 am , card is not accepted and last cons is small dance hall. Pros nice music .

With gratefulness for all the dancing for 20 years, I’m getting increasingly frustrated with watery drinks (super cheap thoughas well as rather ignorant bartenders. My score won’t change anything, but my money will go somewhere else next time.

I havent been there during the day, but during the night its amazing. The music is great and people there are often great DJ-s. The only big downside is that it is cash only.

Pros:- Prices at the bar are not too expensive (the same as most of the bars in Kitay Gorodand they will not try to upsell or scam you if you are a tourist- The music is pretty good (mostly techno, house and disco)- The place is nice and has a mezzanineCons:- Takes only cash at the bar the weekend- The music is too loud (as it is in most places in Moscowand will give you permanent tinnitus if you go there too regularly without earing protections- People fighting in front of the entrance and the security is just watching them (not trying to stop them)- Got refused at the entrance this weekend (security saying "This is a private party" but it was not since people where entering in front of us without any issuewhereas we went in 4 days in a row the previous week...- Literally too crowded the weekend as you dont even have the room to dance slightly, feels like you are in the metro during rush hoursEdit: got refused again this weekend with a group of ≈10 person, we were all well dressed and not inebriated, all older than 21. The security pretended it was a private party, we talked to people coming out of the club which confirmed us it wasnt. We were all foreign exchange students, so basically they discriminated us because of this. This is the second time, it is unacceptable.

It was really great experience. Its a full time restaurant/cafe during the day and the evening and then it turns into a club at night. I just didnt like the music much, but the drinks and service was really nice. There is a free cloakroom and free fast wifi.

Good and cheap place, the most friendly service that i have been in MoscowA lot of Choice and After 00.00 Is start getting as a club.

Mediocre food. Got the propaganda salmon and it was bland and inspirationless. Just a piece of steamed salmon with some boring potatoes, horseradish and dill on the side. Was expecting more considering it costs almost 600 rub. The staff was nice, but I wouldnt recommend this place for food.

For more than 20 years, «Propaganda» has remained one of the most charming and gay-friendly 🏳️‍🌈place for eating in Moscow. nice guests, nice waiters, tasty and inexpensive food, large portions, what could be better.

If you are into electronic beats -this is the place to be in Moscow. Ive heard a lot of classic techno here, tech-house and generally decent party music. Bottom line -cheap drinks and no hard bass!

Propaganda had this year reached 21 years and all what have been at the origin of its success is still here. During the day, good bistro food, during the night (6 days a week except mondayvery good parties, each curated or managed by the finest moscovite underground djs, very efficient sound system, cheap drinks, no entrance fee and very strange but friendly facecontrol (there are absolutely no criteria to get in, just totally random :-). The public is very mixed which is sometimes strange for a place in which plays such a music : toursists, students, underground music lovers, etc. I would recommend for especially for deep-house & funk amateurs the tuesdays ("propaganda got soul"and thursdays ("serguey sanchez thursdays"), for techno and electro lovers the fridays ("warehouse"). Hope they will be opened an other 20 years :-)

Seemed like quite a cool place with friendly staff.. only diff being that only tuesday and friday are techno nights (as per the bar tender. Sunday night(when i was therewas expected to be a gay party(as expectedbut house music(not expected.. just a bit misleading online .. I didnt stay long enough to check but I guess it wouldve been a great place anyhow (I was looking for technoedit: i stayed .. it was a wonderful techno nightGreat crowd! Doesnt matter gay night or not. Was just wonderful. Partied till morning ..

Cheap drinks. Always new djs during the night. Each of them uses to play for 2h and they change. So its cool to find new music, especially if you enjoy techno. Personal is really kind and professional.

Good vibes, great food during a day and a lot of fun with DJs music in the nights! One of many popular places among local youngsters and tourists. Prices are very much reasonable!

Amazing club & taste of Music is Undergorund, Techno-Trance, & Progressive. Only down is they take only cash when nightclub. As a resturant the food is amazing & they take card. All in all the prices are very convinent for both the resturant & the club.

Young, well dressed, cultural adults, came here to have some good time and spend some money. Were told to leave by a very rude bouncer, who literally shouted at us as if we did something wrong. Meanwhile a group of 5 girls of concerning age came in without even having their ids checked. After I asked what does it mean, we simply were shouted at again, felt very upset and uncomfortable and obviously left. I wonder whether the reason was us being international(from UK)...

Its a really good place! Despite being during the day of Moscow on Saturday night, waitresses were always on time. And food is really tasty. A big range of cocktails which are pretty cheap. Strudel was awesome

IT was a terrible situation there. We wanted to spend our last Night in Moscow in that club, but unfortunately we couldnt ! We were dressed well and not drunk, but the selector asked us where are we from, we said from Warsaw - Poland , and he answered that we cant go !! niet , i highly dont recommend this club !!! It isnt worth even a second.

Went during the world Cup cheap drinks and amazing techno place on Saturdays remember Sunday is a gay night and also not too bad a face control unlike other clubs they will just ask where u from and how many of u if you are too many guys just go in pairs.... Cheers tc

I have been here many times, for business lunch, for dinner or late night. This place was good anytime. Food is good, prices are cheap, staff is friendly and very much client oriented. Bar is rather simple but good and cheap. Highly recommend to visit.PS: gay friendly parties on some days.

A very good choice for coffee, tea, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholicor dinner (the pasta salad is way too goodin the heart of the city. Unique ambiene reminding industrial scene, with a sense of cosiness, smiling and helpful staff. There is WiFi and WC. Suitable for groups of friends. Cards accepted.

They play mostly techno music, so if youre not into that style it can be long. The place is super cozy and hispterish :)

This place is rather "peculiar": kinda dark, with smoky atmosphere... But overall we didnt enjoy it. The place was empty and the dj was awful (we went on a weekday, but its better on weekends).

A Moscow institution which has to been a around since the mid-90s. I go there these days for lunch. My favorite favorite is their Caesar salad. There pancakes and smoothies are the also at the top of my list

They let me in without problems on Friday night without paying for entrance despite being a foreigner. Drinks are good and cheap, music inside not my thing but the overall atmosphere is great

Very rude security. Called to ask about entry and reservation and the lady said doors are open to everyone. Only to get there to be shut out by the bouncer. He refused to talk to us. The place wasnt even full. The number we called earlier even stopped answering. There are better places in Moscow to spend your money.

Location cool. Food was fine. Waiters really nice . 5 minutes walking from red square. Good and affordable

I absolutely love this place, its service and prices. Conveniently placed not far from Metro stations and easily accessible by car it offers a great variety of food and drinks. Every night is a party night with great djs and high-quality music. China Town on Sunday nights is definitely my favorite party in the city.

Quite nice. Its a pity that they d no not serve lot of local things from mineral waters to wines. Apparently Narzan water is not local because its from North Caucasus which is not regarded Russia by staff. Atmosphere is though very nice.

Good interieur, cheap business lunch and good party/music at the clubbing times on evening. Cause of the stupid face control they have got bad service results from me.

During the day, Propaganda is a great place to hangout and eat. If they were only having Wi-Fi! The club is one of the oldest in Moscow, with over 10 years and still kickin. After midnight the tables disappear from the dancefloor, the light is dimmed and the dance crowd starts to poor in. Thursday nights @ Propaganda are legendary and still DJ Kubikov and Sanchez parties on Thursdays are one of the best I have seen in Moscow, although there are ups and downs. Dont expect Moscow glam, but a fun crowd and reasonable prices. In fact, dont come in a too glamurous outfit or suit, since the "facecontrol" may not let you in, since you;re not casual enough.During weekends expect good DJs, but a rather youn and suburban crowd, mixed with foreigners (who were not let into the posh clubs), trying to pick-up some girls.Sundays is Moscows best known gay night, which has star appearances, like Naomi Campbell.Last. Dont take your dog there. They wont let you in.
