Description
Privilege

Great view of the city, and a nice place to relax
Amazing!
Nice spot to chill with a nice view, especially at night.
Good view of the city, and a nice playground for the children. Also, (supposedlythe worlds longest bench, and Genevas "official tree".
MoreA promenade with a really long wooden bench and a decent view, but other than that nothing really special. A good pit stop if youre making your way between Geneva Old Town and Parc de Bastion, but you wont miss out much if you give this place a skip.
MoreVery hot day, but worth the walk, as long as you’re content to visit and look and sit - nothing else to do, but a beautiful location.
MoreWhat. A. Bench.
Cool place to chill in the historical centre of Geneve
This is such a beautiful place to stroll on a calm sunny day! I loved the expansiveness of the walkway. It was a lovely spot to take in the waterfront as well as take pictures. There are benches spread out to stop and really take in the beauty. If you want to reach this from the main street with the hotels, follow G Maps to get to the underpass that crosses the highway.
MoreLovely place with panoramique view. There is a possibility to have picnique at one of the tables
MoreOpen space and one of the best view of city from here..
Great spot to soak up the last sun of the day
One of my favorite spots in Geneva
Breathtaking, Gorgeous views of the mountains on both sides of Geneva. You will not be disappointed at all.

MoreThis is a popular site for sunsets. Also, (fun factthis place has the longest green wooden bench in all of Switzerland.
MoreVery nice place for sunset walk and for viewing the city from high view.
This place has a hugeeee bench and a nice paronamic view
A good place to bring a flask of tea and a book, and read while looking out at the city.
Morenext to the bench (nice viewthere is a really awesome playground - LOADS of fun with small kids
MoreLovely views, the longest bench in Europe. I think its missing something to do there.. maybe some icecream stand, or something where you can get a bite, have a walk and enjoy the views.
MoreCozy place even though the benches are positioned the wrong way 😅
Great walk there, It’s very nice and authentic.A must go in Geneva
Situated on the edge of the geneva Old Town this promenade has the longest historical wooden bench in the world. It overlooks the parc des bastions and has picnic benches and a small playground for kids. There are also lots of trees so very pleasant on a hot day.
MoreThe view is amazing. It is almost always sunny there.
One of the best places in Geneva to relax on a sunny day.
There are no recycling place. Really nice view and place to take a seat!
The Longest continous bench in the world?(my partner does our holiday research, and i cant remerber if its World or Europe).Anyway its a nice place to sit for a couple of hours, take some drinks n snacks, other people had.It overlooks "Parc Des Bastions" and the "Reformation Wall" you wont be able to see the "Wall" you need to be in the "Parc".We sat there till it went dark with the sun setting behind the mountains, it was beautiful clear sky evening.
MoreGorgeous walk with awesome views of Geneva
This promenade has what is proclaimed the longest bench in the world. It is situated overlooking Parc des Bastions. You can see a lot of the city from here and if you go around sunset you might catch a really nice view.
MoreFantastic view and there is a kids play park.
I love it here because you can see geneva on top.Nice scenery and spot to chill and for tourist coming to geneva.
MoreNothing to say here. Really long bank with a little space for kids to play and nice view over Geneva.
MoreThis place is a must visit. It is here where you can find the longest bench in the world at 120,00+ meters long and apart from that record, the beautiful panoramic view of this side of geneva and the famous Parc des Bastions is a wonderful treat. And when in that area, leave a quick HELLO to the Official Chestnut Tree that marks the start of springtime once her first bud appears!
MoreNice views of Geneva and just outside of old town, makes a nice walk to get to park.
MoreI stumbled upon this place on my way to Papon cafe. I first noticed the statue and then the lookout over Bastion Park. It is located right above the reformation wall in Bastion Park (which is also another interesting sight to see). It was night time when I went so I didnt really notice the bench, just thought it was a railing.Quite a nice view of the city from up here and the walk is quite nice particularly through old town, with the cobbled streets and stone buildings.
MoreA great place to take some time with your family, its so beautiful!!!
A promenade on the top of the hill of the Old Town that offers great views of the Mont Salève on the one side and the Park Bastions and the banking district Hollande on the other (includes Grand Theatre de Genève and Place Neuveis famous for two things - one of the longest benches in the world (120 metresand an official chestnut tree that marks the start of spring in Geneva. The bench was installed in 1767 as a symbol of peace as before the promenade was a military watching post. Since then the hill had become a meeting place of the entire city as people did not walk along the lakeside back then since paths had not been installed yet. The old chestnut tree (there have been three altogether since 1818 when the tradition started), at the end of the promenade near Baudet Tower, has been recently replaced with a new fourth one. Each year when the tree opens its first bud the spring officially arrives in town. Sometimes the first bud is observed to open in January and sometimes end of April. When days become warmer and sunnier you can also find some books left on the bench to pick up and take home to read.
MoreGreat place to sit and write or read, enjoy a conversation, bask in Sun or just take in the views. Wonderful play things for little ones.
MoreSituated above Parc des Bastions and the Reformarmation wall, the Treille Promenade is one incredibly long bench with some excellent views.
MoreCute wee park with good views. Local birthday party was going on at the time and was cool!
MoreA nice quiet place with great view on Geneva and surrounding mountains. It has playground, tables, benches.
MoreIts a bench, a big bench. Only knew it was there from The Amazing Race, but other than being a great achievement "Sat on Europes Longest Wooden Bench" nothing much more to it. Great view from there. Also plenty of room to lay down for a nap.
MoreSomewhat of an interesting spot with a nice view of the city and the longest bench in the world! Stop by if youre passing through.
MoreAnother favourite spots of mine. This is a large terrace above the "Parc des Bastions" with nice views over the "Salève" (on the leftand the "Jura" (on the rightmountains. It is very nice to relax there. Moreover, you can sit on the longest bench in the world. There is also a fountain and free WIFI there.
MoreThis promenade is a really nice walk in the center of the Old Town. You can sit on a bench thats known to be "the longest in the world" with its length of more than 120 meters and that dates back to 1767. The trees of the promenades are used to decide when Spring begins in Geneva: its in fact the first flower to bloom on one of those trees that officially announces Spring! 🌳🌼☀️🌿
MoreVery nice view! Dont forget to hang out and take pictures at the worlds longest wooden bench at 120 meters. This area is quite elevated so be prepared to walk up going here.
