Great beer selection! Nice outside area with the view on the canal. Cozy blankets provided as well as some heaters on walls. Nice lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere. Beer snacks are good for a pretty reasonable price. Portions are big and fair. Boar stew must have to try. Sometimes feels too packed and busy and a lot of movements are going on, but it’s not a big issue at all. Great place to visit.

Beer heaven and done in an incredibly classy way. Excellent choices and superb service (the lady who served me was such a professional, I got the impression she real enjoys her job and is very good at it!). Has a real authentic feel to the place, the copper beer taps really give it a brewery feel too. Delightful

The place is very cozy even in the afternoon. Its hard to find empty seats though. Plenty of options for beer but not so many to eat.

Great place to enjoy a nice beer and nice view. It is located on the beautiful canal Herengracht which provides an amazing view. There are very particular beers at reasonable prices. We took a plate of cheese that was very nice. If you want to try a different beer and enjoy a nice view then come to this place.

An incredible bar with 52 beers on tap plus a huge menu of bottled beer, spirits and wine.The canal its next to is very peaceful with a large outside seating area.Very reasonably priced too!

Outlined one of the buildings, further down as it is starting to lean. This public house..with 51 different draught beers, only has snacks but 250g of crisps is quite filling. There was a restaurant a couple of doors down, also.The barman/ waiter is so helpful, patient & friendly. Clean rest rooms, fully stocked bar...what a gem!

We visited in August and sat inside as all the tables outside were full. That being said, if we didnt sit inside we wouldnt have had the chance to chat with the bartenders who were friendly and knowledgeable about the different selections that were offered. Would recommend to any who likes trying different beers!

More great Dutch beers on tap than anywhere else in the area (50+). Add an amazing atmosphere and you’ll find yourself wanting to go back again and again.

Enjoyed this bar. Large number of beers on tap. Bartenders could be a little more knowledgeable on the beers. My boyfriend and I didnt need help selecting, but we heard many patrons asking for recommendations and the staff could have done a little bit better explaining the styles that people were asking about. Other than that everything was great and we had a good experience!

A beer drinkers paradise, always a welcome reception. A fantastic selection of beer, the staff are really helpful with good advice. When we were looking for a steak the barman scribbled a name a beer mat, also good advice.

Omg! You have to try this place! This place was the most amazing beer place that I can imagine! They got more than 30 beers at a time. All European beers! With good snacks like cheeses. They have outdoor and indoor seating areas including bar and tables.This place was visited 2 times in a row in my trip!! I will go back here once I go to Amsterdam.

Great spot to have a quiet beer in the middle of hectic Central Amsterdam. The service is awesome and the beer selection very, very, very nice. A few cool snacks to go along.

Nice service from the waitress. 50 tap beers to taste and cheeses to enjoy. The beers are just up to 250 ml large, at a price of almost a 473 ml pint would normally cost.

They have a very large beer selection and I was not disappointed by a single one. I came here twice over the course of my four day visit and had consistently great service. They were incredibly busy and were working very hard, but still had time for any questions and a small conversation. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants good beer in a good place

Absolutely the best bar in Amsterdam. It’s at the top of my must do list on every visit. All such beers. At least 50 taps and so many amazing options. Helpful (and typically Dutch directstaff, great atmosphere. Usually not too busy as slightly outside Centre by 10 mins from central stationYou’d be crazy not to visit here!

A beautiful bar with warm, old-worldly indoor seating as well as outdoor seating when the weather is good. Staff that really knows their beers and has a knack for divining the perfect choice for you based on your preferences. A small menu of light snacks rounds off the experience nicely. They have genevers of various ages as well.

What an amazing bar to try dutch beers. The staff (especially Wiardare super friendly and knowledgeable of beer. We were introduced to multiple durch sour beer brewers and were particularly excited to have been introduced to Tommie Sjef. This is one of the few places that you can enjoy a bottle of these amazing sour beers made by a young and brilliant brewer (the beers often sell out from Tommies website in minutes).Well stop here during any trip to Amsterdam to enjoy some delicious beer and the great staff!

Awesome bar. 50 draft beers to try. Gin and juice was a good one. Just sit at the bar and allow the barstaff to guide you around the incredible selection of local beers. Thet let you try a bit before you order to make sure it is to your taste. They offer some nice small bites as well, so tuck in and soak up the booze

My favourite pub in Amsterdam! Amazing choice of all Dutch beers. Could have spent hours here (and spent all my money).. Ended up finding a leaflet for the More Beer pub crawl which I managed to talk my partner into!Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Can’t recommend more!

Great, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. They have a fantastic variety of great beers, wine, and spirits, and also serve meat and cheese platters. The atmosphere is calm and encourages you to stay and have another drink :)

One of the best curated beer menus in Amsterdam, if not the best. Cozy atmosphere, thoughtful staff, and great location. Food is snacks mostly, so dont plan for a hot meal - just enjoy the beers and be grateful this place exists.

By far my favorite pub in Amsterdam, so much variety, the staff is incredibly friendly. I’ve been coming here for 5 years and I have many fond memories in this place.
