March 2022Marcelo was recommended by a friend as a day guide to introduce us to Buenos Aires, the great sights and getting around. He was amazing!He is fluent in English, which is great as our Spanish is limited to "turista".His knowledge of the city and environs is not limited to just the current built environment. He knows a great deal of Argentinean history and can give the background of many of the sights you will see.I highly recommend Marcelo Mansilla as a guide you can hire for getting to know all of the best of Buenos Aires!

Dont waste your time with anyone else! - Marcelo is your go-to guy for a fantastic tour experience when visiting Buenos Aires and surrounds. Besides being friendly, helpful, punctual and responsive, he is an absolute wealth of knowledge. By putting things into a cultural and historical perspective, he was able to impart to us a deep appreciation of Argentina and its people. We also very much appreciated how he customized the tour and tailored it to our particular interests. In total, we were in Buenos Aires for ten days. We engaged Marcello for two days at the beginning of our visit - something we encourage everyone to do. Having the tour at the beginning of our visit, we were able to get a good feel for the city that helped us for the rest of our stay. Additionally, Marcelo was very generous with his time and invited us to text or email him if we had questions during the remainder of our visit. We cant recommend him highly enough!

Best decision of our trip! Marcelo was amazing. He is so knowledgeable about the city and it’s rich cultural and architectural history. He crafted the tour according to our interests and gave us a great overview of the city as well as recommendations for things to do later. Marcelo was fantastic!!. We initially did only half a day tour as we were new to Buenos Aires but found Marcelo so knowledgeable and professional that later decided to engage him again for another half day tour. We cannot recommend him enough. He helped us understand this beautiful city and it’s rich history. Without his knowledge we would have missed so much. He made it very easy and safe to explore different parts of the city and left us with even more useful information about restaurants, museums, tango locations etc etc. Don’t hesitate, it is worth every penny!

Marcelo was a great private tour guide. He speaks fluent English, and is very personable, accommodating and LGBT-friendly. Hes got a wealth of knowledge of BAs history. I had a few very specific things I wanted to see, and Marcello was very willing to customize my tour for me. For convenience, my walking tour started at my hotel. Along the way to different sites, hed give me cultural tidbits about the area we were walking through. Once at a site, hed really give some in depth explanations about a sites history. He also gave me some great recommendations on places to eat, where to catch some tango, fun places to hang out, and even taught me some local BA-Spanish slang. Id highly recommend him.

I have taken Marcelos private tours a few times on a couple trips to Buenos Aires. Marcelo is the best! As a native of Buenos Aires he is extremely knowledgeable. Even, better is his warm personality and kindness. He aims to please! He is extremely helpful about recommending restaurants and things to do in the city as well. The best way to see Buenos Aires with its various neighborhoods is by doing 2-3 half day tours exploring or a couple full day tours. I have taken many private tours throughout the world as I am an ardent travel and I also owned my own private guide tour in Los Angeles and I must say after all these years Marcelos tour stand out as the best. Ten stars combined rating of my wife and me. Marcelo was informative, funny and entertaining for our 8 hour tour of the city. He took us to a fine restaurant where the locals dine, and we enjoyed lunch during the tour. He was very helpful with information prior to our tour, also.
