Smart pub with tile-floored bar, exposed bricks and a vintage edge plus a menu of global favourites.
Lovely atmosphere. We went for dinner on Friday evening. I like that they have a proper dining area separate from the pub and the outdoor garden. Food was very good as was the service.
Came here with my family yesterday afternoon for a Sunday Lunch. Firstly can I say the food was amazing and also our waiter Miles was always very polite and efficient with his service. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
Trendy pub and restaurant near Hampton Court station with car park and outside area.
I must have offended the bartender somehow because I’ve never been treated so rudely in my life! He almost threw the peanuts at me. Strange.
Came to this beautiful establishment a few weeks ago on a saturday night for a bite to eat sat in the bar area and was pleasantly surprised to meet the head chef dave and chat about Nottingham things what A lovely chap he waswill definitely be returning 😁
We had so much fun here after doing some sightseeing. We stopped in for some drinks, the bartender was very friendly and even introduced us to a regular there who was from the states. Great drinks, service and atmosphere!
I was really surprised in the best way for the food!
My wife and I were visiting London for our anniversary. We visited about ten different pubs and this was our clear favorite!
Good pub with good selection of beers. Food menu looks good so well go back at some point to try the food.
Friendly staff, lovely beer garden and the burgers were enjoyed by us all.
Walked out of this pub badly run in my opinion staff standing around not interested in taking our order 8 people. There loss
I loved the Fish and Chips! well served. It has a very friendly environment.
One of the best pubs in the area. Consistently welcoming service, delicious food and bright outdoor space.
Great little pub with a lovely beer garden. Staff are a real asset, very friendly, helpful and overall great service is provided. Yummy BBQ menu that is delicious! Highly recommend!
Stopped off for a quick lunch. Not a great amount of choice for veggies but what we had was really good. We both had mushrooms on sough dough bread and shared the skin on fries. Friendly and quick service. Very nice
Lovely buzzy atmosphere, good food.
If youre looking for a place to eat and drink in the sun, this isnt it...Came for a family meal, sat outside in the back seating area on a broken table barely holding itself together (table 35), the smell of rubbish wafting through the air... It wasnt until our food arrived that we were inundated with flys almost swarming our food, likely due to fhe dustbins next to the dining area.Food was mostly good, as was the service, however the hygiene issue is too great to overlook and no preventive measures have been put into place.
Good friendly pub, good food and helpful staff.
Best fish and chips Ive had away from the sea-side. And a very pleasant garden to eat in. Staff all very helpful and atmosphere was great with live music as well.
We had the lamb in pitta bread as recommended by the waitress. It wasn’t worth the money - chewy and not good at all. We complained to the young man who cleared the table who said sorry about that! Don’t bother find somewhere else to eat.
Good food and attentive staff. We visited late on Saturday afternoon. Service was efficient and considerate.
The atmosphere is lovely and the garden is very well kept. The food was great and came very quickly. Haven’t been here in a long time but it is much better than I remember. The highlight has definitely got to be the staff - they are so accommodating and it’s always nice to see friendly faces. Will be coming back!
Good Sunday roast and burrata
Very good menu and excellent prices. Good service. Nice view at front.
Good honest pub with welcoming staff and great atmosphere. It was really busy, with the jubilee celebrations at Hampton Court, but the staff were friendly and helpful. They had a barbecue when we visited, and the food was cooked to perfection. I would definitely go back.
One of the biggest portion i’ve come across even by pub standard! Great pork belly roast, gambas decent (so much protein). Friendly and nice staff and garden in the back has really good vibe with table service.
Ate there twice in a week after not having been there for a while.Great, friendly service and quality food. Highly recommended.
Amazing place, very cosy atmosphere and all staff very attentive and helpful. The food was brilliant and will definitely will come back for more.Highly recommended the beer garden at the back on a sunny day !!
Food was delicious. Outside benches need a coat of varnish looked abit tired. Wasn’t aware of the service charge… until I ordered and paid.
Would be a far better pub if the two parts of bar were joined together....easier to get served and easier for staff to see who is waiting! But I appreciate that might be structurally impossible! And acoustics are poor.
Food was great quality. Staff were helpful and friendly. Nice set-up with outside area and car park to rear. Would recommend.
Very nice pub, decor welcoming, plenty of space, staff very friendly and, even though it was busy (mothers Day!very quick to serve. Also a decent garden outside so Im looking forward to returning one fine summers day!
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Trio of roast was superb. The potatoes slightly disappointing as were cold and hard but overall including the hospitality was great!!! Super busy, great vibe.
The burger was great. Very friendly stuff.
I was looking for a pub where they served roast diners and were pet friendly... I founded this pub.I order the vegan Wellington and the trio of roast meats.Everything was absolutely fantastic apart from the roast potatoes that tasted like cooked from the day before and reheated in the microwave. Also I found the pub a bit too dark, specially where I was seating, between the bar and the long couch with the hight tables, it was hard for me to see what I was eating..£65 for 2 roast diners, a side of broccoli, a pint and a glass of wineWould I come back?Maybe not
Google asked me to review a Prince of Wales pub but I reviewed a different one near Trafalgar Square that Id been to recently so my apologies and please ignore previous review. Nice selection of beers and cider. Lots of space early evening and a big beer garden. Will definitely return as I pass through the area every month
Headed off to Hampton Court for a meal.Really respectful and efficient staff. No problems. getting a table. The size of the pub is deceptive, stretches right back.Loved the atmosphere, different sections to either be in the mix or quiet part of the pub.Outside garden area really nice.We had a roast, huge portion, really tasty and completely full after, good price.Served in good time too.Everything was clean, tidy and well organised.Enjoyed our visit, will pop in again.
Popped in as was early for a boat ride on the river (highly recommend J Martin & Son Boat Hireso didnt know anything about the place. Nice looking pub with a good selection of drinks. Went to find a table big enough for the 7 of us and found their really lovely garden area. Well worth a visit and the service was great also
Delicious food. Friendly push helpful but slightly confused staff! Nevertheless fast delivery of good quality food. Although the seabass was overcooked. Maybe a little slower on the taking order side although this was probably due to covid restrictions. But 5 stars regardless because everything was very pleasant.
We have been coming to the Prince for as long as I can remember, they honestly do the BEST roasts weve had at any pub in Surrey. We returned today for the first since COVID struck and I was blown away with how organised and fabulous the staff are. The staff have always been so great and our waiter today didnt disappoint. He was super! Faultless meal and service as always! Also the best Sticky Toffee pudding in all the world!
Sunday Roast was amazing. Lovely horseradish probably the best Ive had. Sausage roll was also great. Good service from super super kind staff.
Great pub for drinking but terrible food. Stick to fish and chips or a burger here as they execute these well. Anything else, they just seem to ruin. Had an absolutely vile sea bass and chorizo dish that was overloaded with sausage. Gross. Ive had burnt (blackcamembert here before, and disappointing roasts with weak gravy.
Posh pub with lots of space with a big dining area with pleasant décor ,outdoor seating area reflecting its location close to Hampton Court...expect to pay close to West End prices...credit cards accepted . Hugh car park at rear via alley entrance. This is a gem hiding in plan sight.
We ate here the other night after reading all the wonderful reviews. I paid £15 plus a service charge for quite possibly the worst burger I have ever had. Over cooked, TINY, thin patties. Stale bread. Husband paid £15 for the fish and chips.... again, very little fish, mostly just fried. Extremely disappointing. Tried to find someone to tell, but service was few and far between. Had to go home and eat another meal. Sadly, will not be back.EDIT AFTER OWNER RESPONSE:I think that your response is passive aggressive and rude. As stated we had the fish and chips, not the sea bass, but I think you are so defensive about a review that you didnt take the time to read it properly. You make it out that I am lying about an experience I had at your pub. That I apparently didnt know the quality that I was eating. I can assure you... I knew the quality and it wasnt good thats why I attached a picture. Sometimes there are issues. It happens. I had read all about the "juicy burgers" and that is why I was shocked with what I got... But to be honest, I am more shocked by your response. All it would have taken was you taking the feedback on board and saying you would look into it...(even if you didnt I would never knowinstead, you wrote paragraphs in response about how I was mistaken and inferring that I must be delusional. Truly amazed by the customer service... scared to think what the response would have been if I was ABLE to bring it to someones attention in the pub that night.
The Burguer was great, juicy and tasty. And I had a brownie with salted caramel ice cream. They have some good ales as well. The comfortably numb, named after pink Floyd album, is a great, strong in flavour, beer.
OMG the best scotch eggs with a beer! Whoever makes these should be awarded a cuisine prize! Often at least 5 different Ales to try on tap. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere!
Great service, child friendly, and the best veggie roast I’ve had. Worth travelling for in Veganuary 😄
Good beer and decent food. V nicely cooked fish and chips. I enjoyed the Venisson Ragu. Child friendly. Would go back again
Excellent service and great food! Generous portions in well presented surroundings. Food served all day and parking at the rear in a place where parking is at a premium. Bravo!
Popped in for lunch for our friend Marias hen party before going off to Happy Days on Sat ... lovely staff, friendly & hospitable ... and fantastic food ..highly recommend the fish & chips but really big ... so you must be mega hungry to orde this ...🤩
