Traditional Italian cuisine & an old-school luxury vibe come together at this classic eatery.
Very slow service and very few people were there. The food was good.
Love this place. Great customer service quick to get the food and always great taste. Highly recommend this place for some goof Italian food!
Great selection of food, friendly staff and good seating.
The food and drinks are amazing . Bartender drinks are to die for . Great martinis
Swordfish risotto
I just love Fettuccine Carbonara at this place. Very tasty. Service is fast, excellent! People here are super friendly even when we come with pretty hyper puppy. We are grateful that they are pet friendly.
One of our favorite places. We always feel warm and welcome there. Good Italian fare. Youll enjoy it.
Had shrimp pesto, good texture, good taste, a sesame hinted smells, shrimp is fresh.Calamari steaks also grilled to perfect.
Great foodThe bread and dipping sauce they serve is a dish in its self
The chicken rigatoni tasted different from last time. Good, but not the same. The chicken was a bit tough. Service was good.
They fit us in. A table of 10, after a graduation ceremony. So accommodating, fun and friendly service. Delicious food!
Since pandemic, I didn’t visit Primavera for more than two years and I missed this restaurant so much, and I went back three times in last two weeks to enjoy my angel hair, the bread is so good and I finished it every time
Wonderful meal! Meatballs and sauce in the meatball antipasto were delicious. Cesar salad with blackened salmon... Mmmmm. My wife loved her blackened salmon fresca salad. Excellent all around meal! We cant wait to eat here again and try more dishes.
The food here is very tasty, with lots of choices on the menu. They provided bread with a delicious tomato topping pre lunch. For lunch, we had the Chicken Avocado sandwich. We upgraded the included salad to the strawberry one for a dollar. Great deal! Well definitely eat here again.
Favorite...deep fried calamari appetizer
We eat here at least once a week. We have yet to be disappointed. Excellent service; one server remembered us from our previous visit and had our drinks ready when we sat down. Every dish is unique. Ive had the chicken parmesan, beef ravioli and others. Everything was excellent.
Great food and great service. We have been coming here for years to celebrate special occasions. They anyways take good care of us. Food is consistently delicious! Bar menu is full of craft cocktails and the dependable standbys too.
Amazing food ! Couldn’t ask for more..Great hospitality, amazing food.. a place not to miss.
My families favorite spot for Italian, amazing staff & good food, you should definitely try it out!
Highly recommend!.... Pasta sauces were fresh, super tasty. Good serving portion. we chatted with the chef abt the sauses and he explained in gr8 length on how he makes it. Was suprised to hear the chef share the recipie. Ended with tiramisu, which the waiter recommended as Best in East bay, and id concur. Subtle flavor!!.
Attentive and friendly staff. Chicken Parm was tender and fresh tasting with the angel hair pasta. The meatballs were also tasty though a bit salty for my taste. The red pasta sauce was a hit.
Best Italian food Ive had in decades! Not even kidding, would be worth going out of the way to eat here. VANESSA is top notch extremely wonderful server. Parking lot outdoor eating area a bit meh, no ambiance but once that food hits your mouth you are transported to a villa overlooking the Mediterranean. If you go ask for Vanessa and tip her more than you can afford. If the owner reads this, you take care of her cause Im from out of town and hope she is there next time I come through because I certainly will!Sorry no pics. Forgot my phone when transported to the Villa:)
Restaurant is good for veg and non veg option. This place has good outdoor seating option as well. During the busy hours, you might have wait little longer for your order.
The atmosphere inside is great. The food was excellent I had the Chicken Saltimbocca which was very tasty. Kim at the bar is very personable and attentive. Ill definitely be back.
They never disappoint. Great meals at a great price. Courteous and respectful employees. You wont be disappointed. Nice outside seating as well.
The outdoor dining is WONDERFUL! The food was very good. Our server was very slow but we were not in a hurry. Really large portions so we both have another dinner with leftovers.
I typically love this place...great food and service...except for today. My husband went down to get us some dinner and was told that due to a big catering order they werent doing any takeout for an hour. That was disappointing. So if we would have come and eaten in restaurant would we have been turned away? I think not. I am very happy that they are thriving with business but to turn away folks or make a takeout order wait an hour when f were dinning in theres no way wed wait like that, is very disappointing. Should not be experience just because of a catering order. A business should be able to handle both and plan for that. Guess our monetary contribution of a pretty hefty bill didnt matter. Too bad :(
EXCELLENT is all I can say! The food was Amazing! But more than that was the Service!! Vanessa, sat us, and took our order and was the BEST hostesses and waitress, I have ever meet in my left. The manager brought us the food and was also the nicest person ever offering recommendations. I would defiantly go back a 100x if I lived in town.
I found this place when looking for a carbonara dish because it seems that other more local Italian restaurants dont serve it. I got the fettuccine carbonara and chocolate souffle, and the meal was the best Italian food Ive had outside of Italy. I will definitely be back when I want Italian food.
We went to dinner for our 56th anniversary. We were seated in the bar area where the servers hang out making lots of noise. We told our server that we were celebrating our 56th anniversary. He didnt even congratulate us . My wifes dinner ok. I had salmon for dinner, the salmon was overcooked and dry. The restaurant did not even offer to buy us dessert. We bought our own tiramisu. We have been several times in the past, but may not go back. When leaving my wife asked the waiter for a to go cup to drink her iced tea on the way home.We didnt finish our dinners, we just wanted to leave.RespectfullyWayne Gilbert
Used to love this restaurant but not anymore. Ordered Chicken Parmigiana and not only was the sauce very bitter with some yucky herb but the chicken seemed like the pre cooked Costco type tasting of preservatives that had been in a warming drawer for a while. For the price is it too much to ask for fresh?
Called about making reservations. Employees need to work on their customer service. Based on that, I would not recommend or will be eating there. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Employees are rude.
Delicious pasta! They are doing take out and they have family size options as well as the regular menu. My pasta came with bread (so soft and fresh!and a side salad. Also they are offering pay over phone and curbside pick up or you can walk in and take out. They are disinfecting the pens! First place I have seen them doing this. Definitely order here for your Italian fix!
Our 1st time trying this place. Food was amazing! It was a bit busy, so the staff was a little overwhelmed, but were hustling...sometimes nearly running. Despite the parking lot seating due to COVID restrictions, the ambiance was still nice. My family and I will definitely go again.
Great food and service. Handled the group very well.
Limited indoor as well as outdoor seating (due to COVID), plus a great jambalaya fettuccine!
The best Italian food around! Every bite will leave you in suspense hoping the experience will never end. At least until your full :)Highly recommended. They will always tops of the list in my book of great place to eat.
Never checked on how our large parties food was. Never asked people with water if they wanted a refill just the people who ordered alcohol. Was told we could not bring a cake for a birthday but the large table next to us brought cupcakes and desserts. They knew we were there celebrating a birthday, and it was just... heres the check.
Ordered the shrimp pesto pasta. Nice quaint restaurant with bar. Open space seating is trendy. Open kitchen chefs are cranking out meals so very nice dining atmosphere. They are busy with a great business crowd. They offer take out. Its in the Total Wine shopping center but on the other end of the complex near Sprouts.Pasta was full of nice shrimp. Not many sun dried tomatoes which I love but the flavor over all was okay. I would go back and continue to explore the menu. The staff was great and friendly!
Would have been a 5 star if the front desk didnt nearly turn us away(after a rather awkward up and down look). She said there were no tables and none coming anytime soon (maybe because we have tattoos /alt. stylewere kinda used to it out here.. San ramon/ dublin is pretty intolerant. But we will skip past that unpleasant introduction. The atmosphere: beautiful and festive for Christmas time. A lovely place for a family and or romantic night out. Someone defenently put their heart into decorating this spot. The service: sharply dressed and very professional for the most part we were very pleased by the front of the house presence. The food: Oh Lord! Back of the house is on fire, truly the best pasta Ive had in the area (points for the line!Ive worked the hot line for years and I was a pleasure to watch this team dance. We started with the mussels in a delightful cream sauce and it was truly a treat. These mussels were meaty and you could really tell they were locally sourced. We then had plates of pasta (all were amazingand ended the night with some sweet treats. Overall it was 5/5 mostly and I will and have returned since, Ive even brought my parents (they loved it). Ill admit I found this review in my drafts so this might not be as current last time I was there was 6 months ago but by all means go and enjoy yourself! If youve gotten this far thank you for the read! Cheers!
Great food and service. We eat here every time we come into town
Good comfort food, but rushed service. We had a 7pm reservation and were rushed throughout the whole dinner, first to order, then to clean up, and pay. That was surprising since most of the restaurant was empty.I absolutely loved the cocktails there, very eloquently done and would give the run for their money to top restaurants. I would be tempted to go back to have their Sangria again!Parking was very busy, shared with stores in the big shopping center.
Great salmon and pasta, very much enjoyed. The latte and tiramisu combo at the end cinched it
Excellent service and Italian food! The wait for the food was unfortunately pretty long, but our waitress Vanessa was amazingly attentive and kind :. I had the chicken parmesan, which was tasty. The creme brulee was a great dessert to top dinner off. Thanks for reading!
Food was amazing. Especially lobster special. But little annoying that they charged more on the bill $31 then what the price showed on menu $29 !
Excellent food and outstanding service by our waiter Marcus. Every step from drinks to check were accomplished smoothly and with personality. All very professional and comfortable. If you havent dined here, youve missed out.
We had our lunch at this restaurant with my wife and daughter and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and gave us a wonderful service.
We’ve been to this restaurant for the second time now and I must say they don’t disappoint. This time I had a reservation on a Sunday before Valentine’s Day. It was fairly still slow and empty. But a few minutes later, everyone started arriving which was great timing for us, I guess. We were quickly led to our reserved table and the waiter was there already preparing tables. He was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, I had jambalaya and it had the amount of kick from the sausage and not overpowering the seafoods. Plus, I did forget they serve big portions of plate so we had to take the food home. We were thinking of getting dessert but we were stuffed already. Overall, it was a good night. We would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone.
The shrimp and lobster risotto was delicious. I normally order the lamb shank which is good too. The shrimp pesto was also tasty. The fresh bread and sauce was good. Friendly service. As for dessert, the lava cake vanished in minutes. The impossible cake was yummy 😋.
Ive had the pleasure to have had a handful of business lunch meetings at Primavera, and each time Ive been genuinely impressed with the quality of food coming out of the kitchen. I recently ordered the gnocchi, and now Im having intense cravings to get more (its only been one day since I last ate it at the time if this writing). The good that comes out of the kitchen is always piping hot, which leads me to believe that its cooked to order and very fresh. The bread comes out with what I believe its a pepper oil concoction that always has the table scrounging for more.I definitely would recommend this spot for a great decently priced Italian meal.
