Really good sandwich, house smoked Pastrami had a genuine smoke flavor.The reason for only four stars is I feel the pricing was a bit high.

Read great reviews about their sandwiches, unfortunately they aren’t serving sandwiches due to being short staffed ☹️. Have them 3 stars being if their friendliness. Greeted with smiles.

Used to be the best sandwich shop in town. Very sad that was discontinued. Hope that comes back sometime.Still an awesome butcher shop with high quality meat and often more unique cuts as well!

Beer on tap, quality cuts of meat, friendly people. We were in town for a bachelor party and it was the only place we went to twice, we loved it that much.

This is a hidden gem. Best sandwich in town! The turkey bacon avocado is my staple, but they always have exciting new specials so I mix it up often. Great beer selection. Havent tried the meat from the butcher, but the processed-in-house meats may be what makes the sandwiches so special!Its a little bit expensive but worth it, treat yourself

This review is long over due. We started coming to Primal Cuts only about 6 months ago and since then we have been there almost every other week.Of course, from the name, you probably get that this is a MEAT place! What has surprised me the most? Their soup. Unique, DELICIOUS and they change it often. We have not been disappointed or oversalted yet!The greatest thing about this place is you can get a delicious meal (torta and turkey sandwhich are my two favorites), have a taphouse in the same location and then when you are finished, grab some great quality meat to go. During the summer the market next door is open to grab some veggies and fruits to go with that meat. They have more than just some cuts of meat, they have marinated meat, sausages, kebobs, charcuterie, etc.It is very clean. You usually bus your own table, but most of the time they will grab it and then as soon as you leave they are wiping down tables.They are amazingly consistent, nice and knowledgeable. The only minor negative is the parking.I HIGHLY suggest this place. Lunch, after skiing, small HH or drinks and apps with friends.

Love the selection at PCM. Especially love the great service. After a slight mixup with my order, the owner and employees were so focused on great service, they offered their cell numbers and to come out to my house and fix the order. Thanks Jake, Kim, and Ethan for going the extra mile and make everything perfect for our dinner guests and grill! 5-star meats and 5-star service!

You can smell the goodness of this place from the moment you walk in! Some of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had (Reuben and pulled pork). Loved everything about Primal Cuts, the place is cool, the food is amazing and they also have a great selection of beers!

Wow. Amazing sandwich! My wife typically wont do sandwich places, but we were going hiking and wanted something to eat on the trail so I talked her into sandwiches. She picked Primal Cuts cause reviews were so positive. Her first bite she made a NSFW exclamation about how good her sandwich was. This is now THE place we will be getting sandwiches in bend.

This place is amazing. Absolutely delicious food, one of, if not THE best beer list in Bend (both local and West Coast), and it is upholding the tradition of an excellent butcher shop, all at the same time.

Hands down, the best Reuben Ive ever had (and probably the best sandwich Ive ever had). The staff is super friendly, and knowledgeable. Primal Cuts is a must-stop every time we visit Bend. If we lived closer, Id spend my whole paycheck here.

Great place for a local butcher and beer stop. Fresh made sandwiches and sides with growler fills too. I like to stop in occasionally for lunch. Great service and premium prices for fresh meat. Check this place out anytime your best by for great stuff.

Outstanding pulled pork sandwich on homemade bread. Special sauce that was to die for. But the perfection that topped it all was the Caribbean Sweet Potato Soup! Two thumbs up! Excellent food and 30+ beers on tap with tastable options. A must try.

This place is good enough for me to write a sentence in this review to get Google to stop bugging me. But seriously, this place has a great beer/kombucha selection and a lot of interesting meats.

So amazing! We had hot pastrami and french dip sandwiches with steak bites. The presentation was great and the food was killer. Keep up the great customer service and this place will be around for a long time.

Great meats, awesome lunch options as well as beers/ciders &kombuchas! They make their own breads and have gluten free option. Never been disappointed from getting a bite or purchasing meat/poultry, sausages or any other meats! Friendly staff.

I really wanted to like this place. Looks nice, people were friendly. I preordered something for Christmas last year and they promised Id have it in 7-10 days (special order). I later went in to pick it up and they told me theyd been unable to get it after all--but hadnt gotten around to calling me to tell me so. I could have gotten it somewhere else if Id known. I was left in the lurch!

Two of the best sandwich’s (primal dip and the porkstramiI’ve ever had were from Primal Cuts. The service was very friendly and speedy, the sandwich’s were perfect! The bread, the meat, and all the fixings blended into perfection! I cannot wait to go back!

This is a great place to have lunch and a beer while shopping for your weekend BBQ meets on the way out. I have not had a meal I didnt like.

Since butcher in New Orleans a few years back we haven’t enjoyed such a good sandwich, we shared 4 (fire dragon, porkstrami, Rouben, pulled pork). We are fans, very impressed by the offerings, will be back again

So good! The best meal we have had on our 4 week trip by far. The sandwiches were yummy and so well priced. We came in for a late lunch/ early dinner and it was so good we came back the next day for lunch. We had the torta and the primal dip sandwiches which were divine. Definitely recommend this place.

I cant remember the bar tenders name. I think it was Tom or Troy. He was amazing and gave a great description of all the beers. I had a great time there with my family and he made the experience all the better. Thanks guys!

Delicious lunches including sandwiches and soups, always comes with a side of home made salty chips. Great selection of beers on tap, mainly craft beers but always has 1 or 2 sours. Great atmosphere and staff is always friendly, nice and great at recommendations for meats and beers. They know my boyfriend and I by our faces and are always happy to see us.

Had one of the best sandwiches of my life there. Tri tip, chimi, Jack, saurktaut, etc...Highly recommend, friendly staff as well.

5 Stars!!! Where else can I get a mind blowing sandwich with a pint of craft beer for lunch, while waiting for a gorgeous hand-cut piece of steak for dinner?!?! The atmosphere is welcoming with big windows that face Galveston Ave. The front of the shop is full of locally made sauces, jellies, snacks, pickles, and more. Their ample tap list has something for everybody - beer, kombucha, cider, coffee... I could practically live here.

This place is the GOAT as my 12 year old would say!! The sandwiches are just plan WOW!!! They take so much pride in their attention to detail and it SHOWS !! This is a must if youre in Bend, youve been watching too much Food Network and you need that perfect Sandwich with incredible beer.... Or a nitro coffee.. love this spot.

I just had one of the most memorable sandwiches ever at Primal Cuts. So memorable, I went back the next day and had it again! Its called the Porkstrami and its to die for. The service is great, they treat you like family at Thanksgiving time and the 36 taps of beer and cider and Kombucha come with tasters and good conversation!

The butchers here are attentive and took the time to understand what I was looking for. Their meats were perfect for grilling.

Love the atmosphere, helpful staff and excellent cuts. All the meat is prepared right there, in house and the staff is ready to help out with suggestions for cuts, cook styles, serving sizes etc. Super friendly, just ask!Sandwich menu is also top notch and super bargain for the quality and amount you get. Absolutely worth it.Also, growler Phils right on the other side of the room, super nice bonus!

Im sure the meat was great quality, but the sandwich was small, and for $9 I was super disappointed. Its cool that you can get a micro-brew while you wait... but sad that you can finish it before your sandwich is ready -- they are not quick.

While limited to whats on hand, all of their products are quality, locally sourced and fresh. Purchased a dozen fresh eggs, a whole chicken (last one in the case or I wouldve bought two), fresh chicken apple rosemary sausages, ground chuck which made burgers my kids devoured, mini turkey pot pies (great flavor and perfect for a light dinner with a saladand frozen chicken broth. To top it off, got two growlers with an apricot apple cider (very crisp and a little tart but refreshingand a dark beer for my husband. We will go back before we leave lovely Oregon and plan to return the next time we vacation here.

.Bryan, Paul and staff did such a great job on providing food and service for our recent Summer Solstice Party. Many guests stayed around well into the night so we pulled out the "leftovers" and had a 2nd party! Bryan and wife, Kim, were superb at taking care of our guests desires and everyone love the food!

Incredible meat.I get something from Primal Cuts every week. Their Bacon is fantastic, and everything else that I have had from them has never disappointed.Support local businesses!

Nice little place with great prices on growler fills. For the local brews, it is cheaper to get it here.Got Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA for $14. Hell yes!

I cant believe I am reviewing a meat market! I have been in Primal Cuts a few times and for some reason I always walk out cheery. Really great people, knowledgeable and helpful. I like what they are up to in terms of quality and sourcing which leads to delicious food. Glad they are part of the community (as are my dogs who enjoy their dog bones a little freakishly).

A really great local shop for quality animal parts. Very friendly, too. They usually give me and my dog something to snack on. Best meats within town.
