Love everything about this place. The bread is cooked harder than I like but the other food and the service is amazing .

Never had a bad experience here. Their food is always on point and they have a good variety of dishes. Large servings so bring your appetite.

Everything about my visit was excellent. The food was some of the best I have eaten. I highly recommend Prima Pasta. Our Waitress was very nice and took good care of us.

Eaten there numerous times over the years - never had a bad meal. Portions are super-adequate and usually are my lunch the next day. The best Italian food within 100 miles.

I would say one of the best places in town to eat. Bonus points for being actually different food. Brownwood is not all that diverse in food choices, so an Italian place definitely helps break up the norm of texmex and steaks and the like. A little expensive compared to other places, but worth it.Chicken parmigiana is delicious.If you get a salad, get the house dressing. I usually get ranch with my salad, but their house dressing is to die for.

Was a awful experience! Ask for two personal pan pizza and got two medium pizza, I quess they needed the money! Lets just say it was not a good experience we had ordered other items and it was awful!

Food is good and wait staff are always working so very hard/cooks as well.I would have given them 5 stars if they would have paid me like they where suppose to for the 4 years I was there.no time clock plus they where taking half the wait staffs tips.i would not recommend working for them bcuz they dont pay you the actual ours you work.rip off

ALOT of spaghetti was eating but ALOT remained on the plate was too full. The calamari was great!!

Great place to eat and service is a return to eat for quality. Have been many times and ordered different foods every time and have yet to choose a bad item. All great to eat and a pallet pleaser each time . Pasta plates are huge and if you need a place that gives a to go plate lunch for the next day this is the place to go.

Awesome experience at Prima! They accommodated our large party last night, with fast service and tentative waiters! Huge portions of delicious Italian food. We can’t wait to return!

Food recommended: Chicken parmesan with pink sauce, with linguini, and lemon slices.Modification: Use the bread, butter, lemon juice, and the chicken with cheese to make an Italian hot dog.Result: Linguini with pink sauce, and Italian chicken hot dogs.Delicious.Also, friendly service. If you become a regular they might remember your preferences.

This place is always Great! Every dish at our table was yummy.... and the bread is to die for.....you cant eat just one!

Ive been here numerous times. Last night I ordered something different. Penne Vodka. It had chopped onions in the sauce and Im not a fan of onion. I didnt complain I ate the chicken that came with it and plenty of bread. The owner was talking to me about the meal and i mentioned that i finally found something I didnt like only bc of the onions. It was all my fault bc i ordered it and it was fine. No complaints at all. She insisted that i not pay for it. I begged her to let me pay bc they did nothing wrong. This place is great.

Went on Valentines Day. Apparently they had a special menu (piece of paper). Overpriced for the quality of food and service.

Wow. Blew my mind away. Pizza is amazing! I ordered white pizza.Pastas delicous. But the one that won the show. pasta Fogoli. Which is an italian. Wake up brownwood this is the place to eat italian.Best pizza in 700 mile radius.

Food is good. I just wish the service was better. Service is mediocre at best.

The sauces here are superb. We love the manicotti, stromboli, pizza, and their hand-cut ribeye. Be ready to eat, the portions are huge!

Delicious food and really accommodating for large parties. We had a party of 12 and they put it all together. Service was fast and the food was great!

Best pasta EVER!!! Had the carbonara with fab ham and fresh mushroom, yummy wide pasta covered in the most delish creamy white sauce. We ate until it was hard to get to the car, and took home food which we ate as well. Fabulouswaiter.

Enjoyed eating here for a family meal. Looks small on the outside, but is larger inside. Staff was very frienfly and helpful. Quick to serve us. Thank you!

We get dinner at Prima Pasta every other week. It is always excellent. We lived in New Jersey for a time in the 1990s. This is the first place that has food like that that we came to love in New Jersey. They are always friendly and my order is right every time and prepared quickly.

Love the atmosphere and the food. Service is friendly. My favorite dish is the primavera pasta with white wine sauce 😋

If I can give negative star I would. This place cant get your order right. Just serve from the box type of food. Nothing authentic or that they should be proud to serve. Meatball spaghetti is frozen meatball sitting in half dry sauce. Cannoli is just stale with old prepackaged filling.

Food was very good. Service was very good. There was one fly that kept buzzing us and our food. Homemade bread is to die for.

The staff was fantastic. We were with a large party of 17. They bent over backwards to serve us. The caprese salad was fantastic. Others in the party had positive comments about their meals. The calamari was way over cooked. Ive had it all over the world and this was among the worst.

On a family day trip and hit this little place up in the way home, the cream sauces are so rich and delicious here you almost need to rent a room at the comfort inn next door to rest. The food will make you feel happy, full and delighted with the fresh flavors, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the staff was really nice and the ambiance was oerfect for date night or family. It looks plain on the outside but once you enter it is comfort in amd inviting. The bread rolls are excellent, I have not bad thing to say except the food was so damn good is could not finish it in one sitting, but the part I am taking hime will not even make it to the fridge. 10/10 would drive the 4 hours just to eat here again.

Food was very good. BUT..... Management of this restaurant is VERY unreasonable. I ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich with no bread, as I have had a bariatric surgery and can only eat 4oz and the sandwich is the smallest portion at $8.99.Server came back to my table and told me that management says they refuse to serve me that and will only serve me the chicken parmesan dinner with no pasta and will be $11.99. I didnt care I about the money, as I was with a client and my company pays for the meal. What is the purpose of wasting food? I ate 1/8 of what they brought me and the rest went in the trash. Why not serve me the chicken sandwich portion without the bread and charge me the full sandwich price? The server came back and said she got them down to $9.99, but again, the food that was wasted was the issue here. They refused to let me order a menu item without the bread. Doesnt make any sense whatsoever to upset a customer over $1.00 and waste all that food.

Has been mostly favorable until Thursday, June 15, 2021. Guest in the booth next to me arrived after myself and ordered after me and was served before myself. I ordered a sandwich and the booth next to me ordered a cook order. Both were attended by same waitress. Was told at checkout that it my waitress.

Sat at a table they couldnt bother to wipe down. I had fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken. The chicken was okay, alfredo sauce was very bland. I wonder if it gets high ratings because these people have never had real Italian food...

Had dinner there.Waiter was great. Food not so great. Meat balls had no flavor(missing herbsNoodles appeared to be some fresh noodles mixed with yellowing left over noodles.

Went here for mothers day, they had a limited menu and sadly the salad my mom wanted was not available but she found something suitable. The photo below is chicken tortellini. It tasted great

We visited on a Wednesday night, as my moms birthday dinner pick. I watched several tables be seated after us, and then I watched as all of them received their drinks before us, including a party of 10+. I saw multiple servers look our way but it seemed no one wanted responsibility of our table. We finally flagged down the lady that seated us and asked if we could get some drinks. She took our order and then, a server came over to also take our order. Our server then stopped by long enough to drop off our food, and disappeared before we could ask for silverware, which my husband had to go to the hostess stand to retrieve. The food was delicious, but, unfortunately, the service will keep us from dining in again in the future.

Good food, friendly staff. The decor is a bit spartan but don’t let that fool you. And considering they give enough food for 2 meals, the prices are amazing.

My sons and I went to eat there while on a small weekend trip to Brownwood. Before the food came, my eleven-year-old asked if we could give them a great review because the server was so personable and did a great job. I told him we should wait for the food. Well, once the food came, both of my boys (11 and 6gushed. They dont "gush." They kept asking me to leave a five star review and since my ffid was also delicious, I agreed. They want to come back again just to eat here.

This has been a favorite place for me , since my husband and I were dating. The food is perfect , tastes wonderful. The employees are fantastic, polite , and attenitive. The atmosphere is happy . For over 20 years this has not changed. I pray that I may be able to give the same review in 20 more. Thank you Prima Pasta for not only being a excellent place to dine , but also for being a part of wonderful memories that I will hold dear through my life. As far as rating, here is mine. When the food is just as good; if not better 20 years later, you might want to try it for yourself. Thank you :)

They bring out incredible fresh chewy rolls. Huge helpings. Great Chef in the back everything is from scratch. The Pizza is top notch. The prices are very fare.Great place to eat in central Texas.

Really enjoyed this Italian restaurant. Greatly enjoyed the pasta sampler as I always have trouble deciding on only one baked pasta option! Great little find on road between Austin and Lubbock.

Very delicious and very cheap for quality Italian food. Definitely worth eating here if you pass by it.

I would give this 5 stars, but the manager seems very off putting. The food and staff service is incredibly good. The portions are huge and delicious. You will never walk away hungry.We eat here at least once a week. The man at the counter that you pay your bill with is not very pleasant. He seems like a mean grump. His staff gives the impression that they are unhappy. Although I am very sensitive to peoples feelings. They dont openly complain or act unhappy. They give excellent service and are very kind. I just somehow get a odd feeling they are not treated well working there. Like I said I eat there often.
