Prezzo Italian Restaurant Thame in Batouri

Had a great lunch there, the service from our waitress was perfect, what a lovely person she was, food all good, 4 of us and we all said how nice it was,

Great food and attentive service, couldnt fault it.

Last minute group of 7, friendly service and pretty quick. Giving a chain 6 stars is always problematic for me so this is a very good rating.They did manage to miss a desert but apologised and sorted it quickly.

Lovely Italian restaurant in the town center. Staff very friendly. The interior is very good with lots of space. The menu has a lot of choice. The pizzas are excellent. Highly recommended.

I got the prezzo burger with grilled chicken, absolutely lovely. Nice busy place with loads of staff, very little waiting.

Food not bad, but quite expensive for what you get.

The restaurant provided a great venue on their mezzanine for a birthday party for 35 people. Well organised, good food and service in a very welcoming environment. Thank you

Mediocre food and wine. It had been a while since I had been to a Prezzos and was left disappointed with the Menu they have now at much higher pricing.

Nice new menu. Staff nice and helpful. The non-alcoholic drinks are also very nice.

The food was responsible but a bit bland and expensive for what you get ok if you use Tesco vouchers. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.

Good food and service. Fairly limited range of options. Seating is fairly cramped and too many tables are squeezed in on the ground floor. Upstair dining area but seems to be only used on exceptionally busy occasions - they appear to prefer to have a waiting line rather than open upstairs. Plenty of staff, a number of whom seemed not very busy and preferred talking to each other.

The food was okay-ish, but the portions were incredibly small. I ordered a portion of calamari, and I got back 7 pieces of calamari on a plate, the size of a coin each. It was not very clean either, all the tables were sticky, and I barely found one that wasnt. I will never go back to this place, very disappointing.

Incredibly expensive now. Used to be a good budget family restaurant. No one ever asks if you want chilly oil or cheese grated on you dishes anymore. Far to expensive for what you receive.

Went for dinnerMy partners pizza arrived with a uncooked base after waiting for 40 minutes.We sent it back we waited another 10 minutes then left.Would not recommend.

A pleasant restaurant set in Thame. They accept Tesco vouchers.

Opens after 9pm on a saturday which is great given the rest of Thame is a ghost town - Be warned the vegan chicken topping is vile.

Smart and spacious with a decent set menu including gluten free and vegan options. Welcoming & knowledgable staff and a more relaxing atmosphere compared to some more cramped locations like Reading. The Italian “humus” is really tasty and there are good gluten free pizza options. The penne could have been nicer for an Italian restaurant but the arrabbiata sauce was excellent and the home produced chilli oil appreciated! Beware, the gluten free cheesecake and vegan triple chocolate tart are very rich.

We went here after being unable to book the Italian restaurant across the street, that we have visited before. This was a pleasant surprise. We started with garlic bread to share, then I had the alfredo and hubby had the mushroom tagliatelle, we both had tiramisu and coffee. All lovely and excellent value as ordered off the set menu. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Red House wine perfectly acceptable.

Havent been to a Prezzos for years and was really pleasantly surprised as to how good it was. Abby our waitress was brilliant and the food was excellent

Shame they had to close my 2 favourite prezzo because Thame is hit and miss with their food and service... they only seem to want to sell you things not give the best advice...menue online shows different to that in store..nothing mentioned about card payments only till you get the bill... Tastecard rewards seem to be at the detrement of birthday rewards... one or the other...Cant say I was impressed with much of our food.

Bellissima!!For a moment there I thought I was in Italy!The manager at prezzo Thame runs an extremely tight ship. With professional helpful happy staff everytime I come here.The food is consistent and always cooked and presented perfectly!It is an absolute pleasure to wine and dine here. Great experience from arriving to leaving 10/10

Havent been to a prezzo in ages and pleasantly surprised. The pizzas are very good with tasty thin bases (no dough sweats!and well topped. All reasonably priced which gets better as prezzo often sign up to any 2for1 3rd party promotions (we used meerkat mealsmaking it good value. The thame restaurant is nearly located to visit one of the many pubs in thr Town afterwards and a car park that is free for 3 hours is directly opposite. Recommend.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff nice food, just a bit worried about the cloth they were cleaning the glasses with behind the bar. Was on a table near the bar and the cloth did not look particularly clean and was dropped on the floor several times and not washed or thrown away.

Small venue trying its best to social distance customers but profits come before safety. Nice food but they needed the table back almost the second we finished eating. Not a pleasant experience.

Nice food and good service. Only down side was we were seated next to a couple with screaming kids. That reduced a star off the experience for me.

What a disappointment Prezzo was today.Booking a table for 7.30 and had to wait before people had finished... Menu price for fathers Day was dearer than advertised on web site and the selection was very poor...Without complaining, because we knew the answer would involve Covid as being the culprit our meals were very bland... Some were not hot and the childrens were very measly.. considering the amount of excellent Prezzo restaurant that have been closed, this was not up to any of their standards and we wont be rushing back..Sorry Prezzo bring your standards back up..

Had the set menu. Starter and mains for £10, good value in my opinion. Perfectly cooked pizzas in there own pizza oven. Every meal was well portioned, pleasant evening. Would go again in future with family, small social groups and even businesses partners. Respectful, friendly and helpful servers.A little loud at busy times because its quite echoey, but it shouldnt be a big concern, thats the only reason why 4 starts.

A good experience in a restaurant during COVID-19. They had a good COVID protocol in place, staff very well trained, one way system, spaced out tables. So have a meal with friends was relaxing and enjoyable.

The waitress was lovely and really made an effort with us! The mozzarella starter was very tasty - would definitely recommend this but wasn’t a fan of the pizzas or the penne arrabbitia pasta

Had dinner here with my wife two kids and my mum and as always was not disappointed.Food was good and on time, kids have a good selection too, really good place for a family meal.

Steadily getting worse. Last visit featured staff losing our order - after 15 minutes had passed - then getting said order wrong by giving us a meat dish when wed asked for a salad. The waiter was at least honest, however, telling us that they had new staff and two chefs had recently left. Think Ill be avoiding this place until they gain more experience.Oh, and its fairly cramped downstairs, too - if the place is close to reaching capacity, be prepared to have to shout to be heard. The food is fairly average and uninspiring, so only go if youve got a voucher.

Awful experience, will not be going back, we were asked to take a seat and wait for a table, this is ok no problem apart from the seats were covered in rubbish from someones take away.When I got to my seat I had been placed next to a kids party of noisy children and angry parents, the table was also in a cold and draughty window place (obviously so passing traffic could see diners from the street), this is not what you want in February,I ate my food and got out of there as quick as I could, altogether an unpleasant experience and I for one will not be returning.This is my own and unbiased opinion, it was not to my liking but I may have just visited on a bad and busy day.On a plus note the food was excellent and I enjoyed my meal, but the surroundings were awful.

This is a regular of ours when we visit Thame. Theyve had an interior makeover which makes it different from before rather than better. No more Coca cola, only Pepsi Cola now, but still served properly with bottle, glass, ice and a slice of citrus. Perfect. Good lunch menu with reasonable price and enough selection. Staff very pleasant though not overly friendly. You should try this place for lunch or evening meal when prices predictably hike upwards.

Annoying when menu changes and staff do not give you the deal menus, you have to ask for them. Did feel a little bit ignored at our table, but this time food did come fast. Change in portion sizes on garlic bread starters. Overall ok, but could be better. Will continue to go.

Great family meal and the staff were really helpful. They were able to offer a range of meals for my gluten and dairy free child which is a rarity. We were very happy with the food which came really quickly. They provided some activities for the kids to entertain themselves which worked out well for us. Wed all be very happy to go back there again.

Went today for first time. Sadly wasnt over impressed. Food was okay, kids meal was great price and choice, colouring was nice to keep them occupied if crayons were provided.What let it down was the service, there was one lady who was smiling and rushing about but others were very laid back, no outstanding customer service, never asked if ok, took ages to take plates away, forgot to take pudding order so we gave up paid and left...walking past 5 staff 1 a manager and 1 who was our waited still no thank you or bye. BTW we saw 11 tables and had 5 staff then cooking staff so not busy.

Had a lovely lunch with a friend and her kiddos. The childrens menu is really reasonably priced taking the pressure off us. I had a lovely mushroom risotto, which was perfectly cooked and great portion size. They were quite busy and the staff clearly under pressure but the service was still good and wait times reasonable.

Excellent meal, as always, and theres always discount vouchers available online!The service is good and the price point is reasonable for this sort of establishment.My only complaint is that this Prezzo is not, in any way, wheelchair or disabled friendly. The toilets are up a steep flight of stairs with no lift available. The tables are also closely packed with little space for those with limited mobility.The customers tend to include a lot of families with young children especially early evening. Be warned, it can be noisy.

Very nice place, food is always amazing, staff are always helpful and it is in a great location. Only problem is if you go in groups they add a service charge and if you dont want to pay it they get annoyed with you. Apart from this, highly recommend

A nice little location, Ive been to this venue a few times. Nice pleasant staff, food is always good. On my last visit, it was a Friday night, the place was very busy, a few big parties and we hadnt booked, so just walked in as a table of 2, but they said they could accommodate us , if we just took a seat. We were given no indication how long the wait would be, after 10minutes or so, we were re-assured it wouldnt be too long, they were just waiting for a table to be free. In the end ,the wait was approximately 20minutes, not bad, for a Friday night, as we were walk-ins, but I was shocked that in this time, we had not been offered drinks, not only from a business perspective, but also general hospitality, as a host, I feel this should have been 1 of the 1st things they did, never mind. We had a couple of starters, I had the Etna pizza , which on arrival unasked for a cocktail, the pizza was really nice, the drink happened to be a no show, so eating a spicy pizza with nothing to wash it Dow with wasnt too pleasant, then I had to give the waitress a gentle reminder, I would not be needing my drink I ordered anymore, she had clearly forgotten. I would recommend this place as long as you book a table beforehand.

Nice experience. Chicken Caesar Salad is delicious. Staff a little aimless at times, had to ask for dessert menu. Nice decor and they allowed us to bring home made food for our toddler.
