Prezzo Italian Restaurant North Audley Street in Batouri

Avoid this fake italian restaurant.The food is so bad, smells bad.. shame to have italian name. We paid 160 pounds for nothing we couldnt finish eat anything, also the salads.

Usually I don’t bother to leave a review but today I must, because I was stressed and this lovely manager made my day so much better. I made a reservation for lunch to celebrate my baby’s christening but it took longer in the church and we lost our table which is fair enough. So I was so afraid that after been 45min late (we chilled but didn’t know exact time when we arrivewe won’t have a table at all and it was sooo windy and rainy outside and everyone was so hangry including four kids. She let us seat downstairs and said it might take longer to serve us because it’s only two of them so they don’t serve downstairs. She was very organized and helpful and actually the service was better, drinks and food arrived even sooner that we expected. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name :(

A delicious meal .only complaint was the slow service

Very very poor service, staff take too long with simple asks like can I have the bill please!! Waited 15min then we got up to leave without paying after getting fed up of waiting. Even then no one wanted to give us the bill. Took over 10min just to get a jug of water and asking 3 staff for the water. Appalling. Never go again!!

Bom restaurante italiano. Salão de refeições não muito grande mas agradável. Serviço mais ou menos. Faltavam funcionários para atender, as que estavam trabalhando ficaram sobrecarregadas.

Very poor staff with awful attitude

Nice hot and tasty food at a good price for central London, served by friendly and attentive staff. A good find and will visit again.

I’d like to express how disappointed I was about this place. I have two young children (under two years oldand we’d decided to take them to see the Christmas lights. We went on Tuesday 7th December in the evening to have a bit of family fun. It had reached about 8.30pm and we wanted to find somewhere to eat. I breastfeed my children and I needed a place where I could sit and feed them as well as myself! It was just my husband, myself and our two children. We’d been to this particular Prezzo on North Audley Street before so we thought it would be a safe bet. We made the walk over there and entered the restaurant. The manager was clearly visible but chose to ignore us so much so that I had to actually call him over to get some service. The look that followed from him was astonishing. He glanced us over, myself, my husband and the kids and immediately said, “Do you have a booking?” to which I replied, “no, sorry”. It was quite visible that the restaurant was at least two thirds empty and there were more than enough tables. He could have offered us any. The manager, with a smirk upon his face and so unapologetically said, “no I have no tables”. He had the audacity to lie so obviously to us and it was as if he really didn’t care. He turned away to walk away and I said look, “I just need somewhere to feed my babies. It’s freezing outside”. Not being bad or nothing but we’re a smart, well spoken couple and our children have impeccable behaviour for their ages too. It wouldn’t have hurt him to seat us. My husband also interjected and said, “But there are so many tables empty, how can you just say no?” The manager rudely replied again saying simply “No” and then walked off. I understand that it is advised to book but there is no rule saying you have to book ahead in a Prezzo otherwise you won’t be seated. Even if you are a breastfeeding mother. They simply don’t care. I would say AVOID AVOID AVOID especially if you are a small family and you breastfeed. I was made to feel so awful and was sent back out in the bitter cold with my babies when there was plenty of tables he could have accommodated us with. Whoever the manager was working on this particular day, he should be ashamed and be reprimanded for his awful and discourteous attitude . We found a place to eat at a nearby Cafe Concerto luckily but I walked back to seeif there were still tables available at this Prezzo or if in fact they were as booked as he made out and there most definitely were plenty of tables! He had simply chosen not to seat us. He should be ashamed of himself- the manager working on Tuesday evening at 8.30pm on Tuesday 7th December 2021. Won’t ever be eating there again and if I can save any breastfeeding mothers from suffering the same indignation then it’s worth my time writing this review. Disgusted.

The manager was lovely due to a few complications on our orders she was very generous and polite a bottle on the house. Her customer service was impeccable thank you guys 😊😊

Food was nice, but I wouldnt recommend the place. Served by a barman who doesnt do watering as a result, they told the kitchen we wanted two regular carbonaras despite asking for both to come with chicken. During our meal, we asked for a glass of water, and it took over ten minutes to arrive. It had to be asked for twice, which also happened with the bill. Requested the bill and then watched the staff member do other things. Eventually, someone else came along, and I told them I had been waiting ages for the bill, which they quickly resolved. Its a shame this happens as I have been to other Prezzos that have been much better.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The waitress were very kind at all moments. 100% recommended if you love Italian food .

The food is pretty bad and pricey for how bad it is. They serve pasta and pizza with salad! I think an italian will die after just reading this! Location is nice and obviously not too crowded 😅

Friendly staff. The order was on time and reasonably priced but the food was nothing special in our opinion.

On a mini break to London with husband and two children. Waited to be seated only to be refused entry! Waiter waved his hands infront of me saying there were no spaces when there were 2 tables leaving and 1 table completely empty and awaiting patrons! No idea what they thought was wrong with us, obviously dont want certain customers but baffled what was wrong with us. Anyway found a lovely authentic little italian a little further along off Oxford Street who were very happy to seat us.

Long story shot, racist (in my opinionstaff encounter during pickup order. Avoid this place if you have any moral decency.I usually dont write reviews but Im pretty indignant about this - I was picking up my order (two courses, booked through Deliveroo), and the staff assumed I was a Deliveroo driver through the entire process. Just a stab in the dark, but might have something to do with the fact that Im Asian, and was wearing a hoodie + jeans in a predominantly upper class, more poshly dressed white neighborhood. Staff walked a thoroughly confused me to the curb, claiming that it was for "better internet connection" to check out my Deliveroo app, then triple checked the order number again before letting me leave.Would not recommend based on the service alone.

Okay, Prezzo was a lovely discovery. My husband and I came here blindly for our Holiday, and the food was fantastic! From our starters to the desserts, everything was bursting with flavour.Our server (he had glasses on, but we didnt get his namehe was absolutely lovely. Very patient. Very attentive. He made the overall experience even better.

Excellent when open

Fabulous and very attentive staff, great choice of tasty food. So glad to see that Garlic bread with cameralised onion and mozarella and pasta with smoked salmon, cilli and broccoli still on the menu, as it was the main reason we came back to Prezzo!!

The staff were extremely friendly, warm and welcoming and the food was very good. Also the manager was really nice, checking on us and smiling and chatting. 5 stars.

(Visited Dec 2019)My friend and I came here as we were in the area and wanted a quick lunch (with tastecard!)She got the Pizza Bites to start with: though they did exactly what it said on the tin, these were nice. On the other hand, my Breaded Mozzarella was very plain. My friend likened them to those frozen ‘Crispy Pancakes’ which was disappointingly accurate. The pomodoro sauce they came with was basically tinned chopped tomatoes in a ramekin.My friend’s Penne Gorgonzola lacked enough cheese, and the Grilled Chicken Breast with Mushrooms I ordered was another let-down. The chargrilled bits on the meat just tasted burnt, and there wasn’t a lot of sauce. I ordered truffle oil infused fries which were probably the best part of my meal…I can’t fault the service, but the food itself was about as exciting as a Bounty in an advent calendar.
