Prezzo Italian Restaurant Borehamwood in Bandarbeyla
Description
Privilege
Prezzo in Borehamwood is a pleasant experience... service is decent. I ordered a Bruschetta and Calzone, Calzone being my go to dish generally in this type of establishment. Unfortunately this wasnt my favourite, it was very Herby and very dry...the sauce was in a little saucer which was on the side of the plate and it was cold. Im not sure if this is a traditional way of serving the dish, but unfortunately for me it wasnt my favourite way of serving it. I prefer my Calzone to have the sauce on the inside, doesnt need to be loads of it, but enough to keep it from being bone dry. I feel if the sauce was on the inside of the Calzone I wouldnt have noticed how Herby it was. Unfortunately I only ate half of it, Nd I generally never leave food. The Bruschetta was nice, a little crispy, but it was nice and flavoursome, I couldnt really complain.Would I recommend Prezzo in Borehamwood, I would, despite my experience, it wasnt a horrible experience by far, and the service was nice also...my partner and her friend seemed to enjoy their dishes, Carbonara and spaghetti Bolognese respectively. They also accept tastecard, so if you have one of these definitely take advantage of this as money off any meal, especially in these times is always appreciated.
MoreLove the salmon dish, get it every time
Great food and a really friendly waitress.
Small meal , crab and oyster mushed up on ravioli and i could only taste the chilliNice staff .Expensive meal i got on offerWent home to eat more to compensate
MoreGreat place to eat. Even better when you have a taste card
Excellent service professional staff good quality food
I always love my experience at prezzo definitely worth it
My worst pizza experience!!!They got the pick up order all wrong - no big boxes left so pizza cut in two and wedged into smaller boxes - two items (humusforgotten entirely (but charged of course- the pizzas weren’t that tasty, the coverings left large areas around the edges with no topping at all - effectively you are just buying expensive flatbread -
MoreReally nice, the pizzas are really good and the service is promt and fast. They have a range of cocktails which are really nice
MoreExtremely expensive for a medium size pasta..sorry not recommended
Food was nice , the service was personable ,location on borehamwood high street has plenty of outside seating.Prices seemed a bit high but we had a discount voucher :)Al in all good
MoreYummy foods, nice staff.
We ordered two pizzas. One was normal and other one was gluten free. My partners pizza was half cut and my one wasn’t cut at all, crust was burned. It was absolutely tasteless, dry and not much toppings. The worst pizza I have ever eaten.Only one star that it was delivered fast but I guess that would be for Deliveroo and not Prezzo. Will not be ordering again!!!
MoreThe atmosphere is great, but the food doesnt match it. Small portions, ingredients dont taste fresh, and the pizza toppings layer is thin.
MoreWent last night and been lots of times before. Garlic bread and mushroom tagliatelle were absolutely tasteless. Very disappointed!!
MoreAmazing food and great service. The 2 of us enjoyed a starter, king Prawns and calamari, and main course each, spaghetti with king Prawns and penne with salmon. All dishes presented beautifully and tasted delicious! Best Italian food compared to Zizzi and Pizza Express. Staff were friendly yet professional especially Melania who served us, always a smile on her face.Highly recommended and will definitely come again soon.
MoreAbsolutely loved it! Even though they were busy, the service was quick. Spaghetti carbonara al forno is a must!
MoreTasty meal, fixed price menu is a benefit too.
We had so many lunch here and I dearly love the quality of the food here.Pizzas are nice and yummy the pastas are amazing. Even the kids carbonara. Also staffs are so friendly and polite.
MoreDisappointed. Box from the sauce melted. Pizza burned. I do not recommend
First of all, id give them 80% for the outdoor dinning experience, although we didn’t eat outside because it was cold, the fact that they were able to incorporate an outdoor dinning experience despite the small size of the restaurant, compared to others I’ve been to,is commendable.Walking into the restaurant is a bliss. The ambience is breathtaking. Their table for 2 is cute and comfy. They have lovely staff too, although in my personal opinion, they need more. They have a quite affordable menu too, with their spaghetti carbonara going for £11.74. Not bad to be fair. I like how two people can comfortably eat there on a £50 budget. The drinks are super affordable too and their food tastes very nice. They also are intentional about feedback and it’s something most people don’t do. For dessert, we had their cheesecake and hot chocolate and oh my gosh! It was brilliant!I had such a great time there that I dropped a £20 tip, which is something I don’t do if I don’t like the service. I would definitely go back.I gave them 4 stars because they need to incorporate more space for baby strollers. It was quite inconvenient having to move my chair back and forth so that people with baby strollers could pass.
MoreSomewhat pricey for an average experience...!Large enough to comfortably seat our party of 12, with a reasonable variety menu selection.Portion sizes were a little small for adult eaters, and the kitchen was unable to distinguish between starters and main course; it all arrived at our table at the same time. You could argue that it was impressive that the kitchen managed to prepare and serve it all so rapidly but then again, perhaps they wish to get diners in and out as quickly as possible...? (Softdrinks were small too; most of the volume was ice (rather unnecessary when it was just 2°C outsidewith little room for the liquid. The meals were flavoursome though somewhat over-seasoned, but were completely palatable, while desert was reasonable too, terribly sugary but delicious nonetheless. In all, quite an average experience. Well definitely look for alternative places when were next in the area.
MoreNice food, good size portions, food arrived in reasonable time and staff were friendly. I ordered Calzone and it was lovely, quite big, menu suggested it would be spicy, it actually wasnt really that spicy and was very nice, only improvement could be adding more filling as some parts were a empty. For desert I had the chocolate tart which was recommended by the server, it was a bit rich thought, but surprisingly tasty for a vegan pudding!Overall a nice dinner, bill came to about £57 for two people including main meal, desert, two beers and one soft drink. Bonus is they accept Tesco vouchers.
MoreWe have been coming to this Prezzo for many years now and it is all due to the lovely staff and Managers Korab and Enis! My partner and I have many dietary requirements and he is always able to amend in order to help us. He always goes the extra mile and now knows our order by heart so we never need to re-explain our needs or requests. All of the staff there are welcoming and friendly so we always look forward to seeing them and enjoying the great food and quick service.
MoreService and food is good but the booking system is a mess. When you call you get an automated response which tells you there are no spaces but driving to the restaurant there was plenty of space. Sort it out Prezzo
MoreI’ve always had positive experiences here. Seating is fast. Food comes fast. Service is pleasant. Their tiramitsu and garlic bread are the best. Tasty pizzas. Pasta can be a bit bland but I prefer that to over-salty versions as I could always season to taste.
MoreHave been here several times when Im visiting in Borehamwood. Clean restaurant that follows Covid protocol. The food is well cooked and tasty. Staff are very friendly. Reasonable priced menu.
MoreExcellent little restaurant in Bwood, really enjoyable experience with delicious food… all delivered to you by a wonderful young welcoming chap named Korab👍
MoreReally great food and staff were super friendly and very helpful. My kids ate spaghetti bolagnese which they super enjoyed. They rated it the best theyve had in a restaurant! The bruschetta is to die for and its my favourite of all the different Italian restaurants( Pizza Express, Zizzis, Ask etc Ive been to so far. Soft, beautifully seasoned, warm and indulgent. An excellent size at a great price. Could eat it all day long...👍🏽
MoreAttended this restaurant with my Brother & Mum on Wednesday 2 weeks ago. Our Waitress was very polite & friendly. The food was great too!
MoreAmazing food and drinks. Definitely coming again.
Lovely people, nice restaurant,
Awesome cleaning hygienic lots of seating large restaurant how do area helpful and friendly staff nice selection of foods and drinks is telling style worth reserving a head although theres usually a weekday weekends can get busier
MoreWas my first and last time here, FOOD WAS SOO BAD!! THAT I COULDNT EVEN EAT IT! I complaint about this but it seems like the staff they didnt care. They didnt even offer me anything in return to say sorry was just quick to take my bill and say thank you and bye!!!?I would recommend going to KFC, nandos or Subway
MoreBrilliant food and friendly service. We had a three course meal for 2 and food was amazing. Specially, sticky toffee pudding.Place itself is spacious with clean restroom. There is a public parking nearby which make this easily accessible as well. We had a good time here.
MoreHorrible food! Totally inedible! The pizza was cold and chewy, the dough was disgusting. As for the pasta bolognese the meat was very poor quality and also inedible. I’m surprised they’ve stayed open. Will never order from them again.
MoreGreat restaurant. Have eaten here several times and always found the staff friendly and food really good. Since lockdown, Ive ordered 3-4 times via Deliveroo and food has always been excellent and great value with the family meal offers.
MoreChicken breast a little burnt and because of that very dry. Lettuce not chopped properly. Bread completely burnt. Portion small. This is not I was hoping for to get for £11...
MoreVery friendly and attentive staff. Very covid safe. They dealt with an extremely rude customer who wouldnt wear a mask and apparently didnt know she had to very well and professionally. Food was lovely. We all had 3 courses. Would happily go back. Thank you for a lovely meal.
MoreI ordered the Margarita pizza - I think my empty plate is evidence of how much I enjoyed it
MoreGreat service , friendly ...food was great, picture speaks for itself
Ive always enjoyed both in-house and take-away delivery at Prezzo, the menu/food is very tasty. Recently the delivery has been a bit hit or miss and today I called up to let them know that my lunch had arrived with another missing element, this time the bread and I was blown away by the swift customer service as another complete meal was sent out and arrived within 20 minutes. Thank you, lunch sorted :)
MoreLovely restaurant. Was quiet during the visit, staff were attentive, the food was quite fresh and well made (burger served with chips). Theres however a limited amount of dishes on the menu at the moment, but its the usual items.
MoreFriendly staff serve there fast prepared starters (they use wireless digital notepads so kitchen knows what you have ordered before waiter ask you for the main choice). Pizza and other Italian dishes are made from fresh, taste good, and the price is OK. A nice tree grows in the middle of the restaurant. Fridays are quite busy but tables are usually available. Please leave then some tips if you liked there because staff dont get automatically the 10% added to the bill (I personally like this approach).Overall I will come back!
MoreGreat staff very welcoming and attentive. Cant say that for the food.,it was awful. I had pizza and didnt like it at all. Chicken was rubbery, carmel onion is to sugary. . The plan was to go to Mod pizza but when I got there it was closed so I went in to Prezzo. I will not make that mistake again
MoreFood was average. The staff were really lovely and attentive. My grandson made a mess on the floor : I was a bit embarrassed but they were really good about it. I will go again if I am near and want pizza I would though not specifically choose there.
MoreAtmosphere is nice, service was great. This is obviously a chain restaurant and like any other, the Italian food is mediocre at best. It is a nicer looking restaurant than most in the area and therefore gets our service every now and then.
MoreVery impressive of the food and service. The food is tasty and the portion is good as well. Consider the price, this is great value. To add on everything, the staff is just so nice that make you want to come back again because of their service and really friendly attitude. Everything is beyond my expectation. Casual but with nice decoration/design inside of restaurant.A lot of different flavor of olive oil for you to have with the bread and food. Set menu 2 courses for £11 and 3 courses for £14. We ordered the king prawn salmon risotto. Highly recommended!
MoreWe arrived to a half empty restaurant only to be told to wait for five minutes to be seated. The staff were dismissive and unresponsive while we ate our meal forgetting to ask if we would like to order as well as not bringing out Parmesan (a small detail but this added to the irritationand finally the cashier was incredibly impatient sucking her teeth and tapping her fingers as I was paying worst customer service experience I have had in years. The food was good just hugely let down by front of house.
MoreJust been for lunch with the wife and our toddler. With a 40% off voucher its excellent value for nice food. Lets be honest Prezzo doesnt really tout itself as cordon bleu but it has a great range to keep everyone happy and our food (pasta, burger and kids menu pizzawas all great. Just be sure to download a voucher as full priced I think its probably a little too much. And for the moment the restaurant has a bit of a new car smell about it, which is nice.
