It was a great experience with my friends, the staff was friendly and helpful specially Angelina,the food very delicious

My partner and I went here just last night. We made a reservation and within minutes they called to let us know the toilets were out of service. It was very considerate. We arrived and promptly sat in a clean area. Our server was very kind. I had the crab and lobster ravioli, the server helped me choose a wine to match. My partner had a penne arribatta and J2O. The ravioli was divine and the paired wine was the perfect complement. Then we ordered a slice of lemon meringue pie. This pie had a large layer of meringue on top, more than one might see normally. The top of the meringue was golden crisp, like the sugar topping of creme brulé. The lemon filling was thick, with the perfect balance of sweet and tart. It was the perfect filling to hold the meringue topping. The crust was crumbly and sweet, but a grounding flavour to pull it all together and not compete with the main flavours. With the first bite I wanted to let out tears of pure bliss. With each bite I felt like melting into the joy and small moans of enjoyment escaped me. My partner said I was making similar faces to the faces I make in bed. As I came to the last spoonful I wanted to cry that the experience was ending. In the thirty+ years of my life, never have I had such an emotional experience brought from a slice of pie. I am truly sad that it will be such a long time before I can holiday in Reading again and enjoy the superior craftsmanship of Prezzo lemon meringue pie.

Great good and service, will definately recommend.

We were waiting our order more than 1 hour.We ordered salads, pizza and burger.I don’t like this salad, because a lot of souse.

Went with my partner as I have a tastecard so get 2 for 1 meals. The servers were lovely but was quite disappointed by the food. I got the beef burger and the meat was pretty bland and had a strange texture.

Very nice meal. Well prepared food. Friendly staff and good service. The air conditioning was also very welcome on a hot evening.

Lovely food, nice atmosphere but we had a 15minute walk from the car park in glorious sunshine. A bit more expensive than last time we went to a Prezzo but thats the rise in the cost of living

Prezzo sent me a birthday gift in the form of a voucher to redeem against a drink or desert, a very nice gesture.I don’t know Reading that well but the restaurant was conveniently located in the corner of King st, part of the hustle and bustle of all that was taking place, which made it very easy to find. The inside displayed modern art deco and tables were found in different parts of this large building.The service was not brilliant, but once I explained that we are pressed for time they were very helpful and attentive.The food was a let down, I paid for extra olives & pepper and still got a naked pizza.Thé désert was nice.They really need to find better chefs.

Fresh and modern.Our second time in 2 weeks. The sea bass is wonderful. The chicken and bacon salad is better value then the Cesar salad,its not worth £14:50Will be returning and for anyone visiting Reading its worth a visit

Lovely experience!We arrived after 9pm for dinner, really hungry after a busy day.We had Mushroom and Ham pizz - really really good, wow, well seasoned, fresh and deliciousPasta with prawns- classic Italian but they use "Mother pasta sauce ", you can feel the flavours from the first bite, well seasoned, lovely presentation, love itPasta carbonara - classic carbonara, delicious sauce ( not to fatty), the bacon was fat free making a big difference, well seasoned- my partner love it.Service - 5* - our service was lovely, attentive and it was the best one so far. We travelled from London for one week, we tried few restaurants, no other commentsThank you so much Angelina, you made our evening great ❤️Will be back soon

Great food, service was friendly and all waitresses were helpful and gave us enough time to order. Visit with meerkat meals (compare the marketand you can get 2 for 1 on appetisers, mains and desserts off the main menu.

Yesterday .. had chicken and bacon and avocado dish. Well it was a great flavor. The mustrad and bacon and chicken amazing really good taste. But the avocado .....was off like really off I left it on side of plate for them to see I dont know if they did or not.But the rest was goodPrevious review dont remmeber when-Today I had the best experience. Food was amazing. And the staff was very polite. The gentleman that served me and my boyfriend was very polite and respectful. The service was fast it was a really good experience.

The waitress was absolutely lovely. One member of the party didn’t scraped the balsamic onions off their garlic bread, she saw this and then brought him a brand new one without the onions even though we didn’t ask! Above and beyond. The goats cheese alforno pasta main was the best dish I’ve had in this restaurant and I’ve been a few times. Very satisfied, will definitely order again

Definitely not great quality food plus too expensive for what they offered and the way they cook... Service is good but the restaurant is not suitable for families with tiny tots... baby changing out of service and no chance to warm up baby food

Luke’s did a amazing job , we had our food early and he made sure everything was fine .

We popped in to this restaurant on a Friday and had a very poor experience in there.Waiting time is ridiculous! We had to wait for the food more than an hour. When we have asked the waiter where is our food, he said he was waiting for us to finish the starter than he asked the kitchen to start our food. From that time we had to wait 50 minutes for our simple pasta dishes to arrive.The presentation and garnishing is extremely poor, nearly no taste, my daughter’s pizza was possibly made of an old dough causing her a horrid tummy ache.All of us ended with mild to moderate tummy issues that afternoon!Something is wrong in the kitchen for sure.Also the tables and furniture are old, worn out, I have felt I am being in a school cafeteria.Compared to these circumstance and overall poor experience i think prices are way too high.Planning never return there for sure.Yuk yuk yuk

Great service, lovely atmosphere, food come out in good time and tasted superb.

Visited Saturday 6pm.Tasteless pizzas, poor quality cheese, customer service average.The pizza price cannot justify the quality, look and portions.We, family of 4, all wished we had gone to the pizza place on the riverside!Needless to say we will not return!

NEVER EVER!They made us wait for 30 minutes to verify the payment! Then wanted us to pay again! I showed my bank transactions and they still insisted that we should pay. I said we are not going to pay twice! This has never happened to me in my entire life anywhere before!

We love the set menus from here which are great value! The food is always lovely, but they have been struggling with missing items on the menu recently. The staff always seem (overlybusy which can mean service is slow. This isnt a reflection on the staff but I think they could do with extra servers.

Lovely food and great staff.Ordered a kids menu n it was HUGE! My 12yr old couldnt finish it all off.The brushetta wasnt to our liking but the penny arrabiata with chicken was lovely as it had a little kick to it too.Would I recommend? YesWould I return? Very likely

Used a gift voucher for a three course meal. Forced to use a set menu, and they were not allowed to be flexible with it.Service was great except for that. Food just how youd expect.Wish the set menu had a few more vegetarian choices. Well that applies to the main menu too.As far as the set menu. You might consider, that a vegetarian non drinker using a set meal voucher has actually already paid MORE than the regular menu price. .... A little flexibility might be nice.

Lovely meal and service....

Very bad quality and taste. If you are someone who loves Italian please dont go there. Very few options and even the basic pasta tasted like a ready made store bought pasta. Never again.

A near perfect dining experience! Friendly, attentive waiting staff, lovely starters, mains and desserts, amazing choice on the kids menu, good choice of vegan options.... We will be back!

Very happy with the service me and my girlfriend got here! She didn’t like the olives and they kindly took them off the bill! Great customer service I’d say! Our other dishes were delicious! Can’t wAit to get back!

I have been here twice since the restaurant has reopened after covid19, and I have been really impressed. Staff have taken alot of care to ensure the place is clean and safe, and I felt bad for the waitress who was wiping down the chairs clean to the point she was even wiping the legs of the chair.Food wise I find the menu quite limited, especially if you are limited to vegetarian options, and they havent got any vegan options which can be a good alternative. However, this branch has been very accommodating with customising our orders. Food comes on time and Staff are very polite.

Ok food n good service... Starters n desserts were good...Pizza was bit dry...It was far better in our previous visits...

The food here is great. I particular like the Garlic Bread with balsamic onions and mozzarella, and the Tropicana Pizza. Staff are very friendly, especially Sean. As its next to authentic, nearly all the drinks are either beer or have Prosecco or gin in, so theres not a great range of drinks available, but thats not anything huge to complain about.Prezzo regularly do very good deals as well, either via VoucherCloud or via Meerkat Meals, so theres not really any excuse to come here when after an Italian.

Amazing food, great service, the toilet is a bit of a hike. The restaurant looked beautiful and the gin cocktails were superb.

Surprisingly tasty food. Good hospitality from Marco. Thought the vegan mushroom pizza would be dry from looking at it but it was surprisingly good. Waiter brought chilli oil with the pizza which which was a good thought.When the rest of the party were given their desserts, the waiter brought me a sorbet on the house which is not yet on the menu. This was unprompted, I said nothing about there not being a vegan dessert on the menu.Very impressed.

Food came out warmish, stone cold by the time I finished. salad was old and soft and going off. Waitress was rude, no one came to see if everything was OK. Chefs (or cooks, wouldnt call them chefswere just leaning over the counters playing on thier phones.. This was the bracknell branch

Lovely restaurant bubbly atmosphere, friendly staff warm welcome. Stopped in for lunch with a friend we had spaghetti and meatballs and the samom pasta dish. Very high quality food at a great price I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes great food and a lovely dining experience. Go to Prezzo you wont be disappointed.

I have just left Prezzo Reading after going there for my birthday dinner. It was fantastic, we enjoyed each of our 3 courses and the complimentary bottle of prosecco. Every member of the team we had contact with were amazing especially the young man who served us to start with. He certainly made what started as a bit of a nightmare birthday into a great one. I will definitely be back.

Excellent service and a nice atmosphere. Never had a bad meal at any Prezzo but this one was the best I have been to. Pizza arrived promptly with the 2 other meals and was cooked to perfection. Tables are comfortable and didnt feel crammed in even though it was full at lunchtime. Would recommend and will be returning

Good services. Good food. My Penn salmon pasta is tasty. I had half of my sisters non-hot version which was a bit less exotic. So I recommend the original one. The black pizza is also a good choice for our lunch.

Dined at prezzo with partner and two young children and the service was excellent! Every time a knife or fork was dropped the waiter brought over a clean one without us having to ask. The food was also delicious and served pretty quick.

After scouring the streets in the rain for somewhere nice to eat we came across Prezzo. Although it looked very busy inside the tram were able to find us a table for 2 with no waiting. The staff looked rushed but were still attentive, bringing us the drinks menu, then shortly after drinks arrived we were ready to order. Wonderful food, great sized portions, and excellent cocktails. To top it off it turns out I was able to use my Taste card there too which added to the experience. Will definitely be returning

Great selection on the menu, reasonably priced. Friendly staff, great atmosphere with moody lighting in the evenings. Honeycomb Smash cheesecake is highly recommended!
