The Prespa National Park is a national park situated in southeastern Albania on the border triangle shared with Greece and North Macedonia. At approximately 277.5 km2 (107.1 sq mi), the park encompasses the countrys sections of the Great and Small Prespa Lake. It is considerably characterised by high mountains, narrow islands, vast freshwater wetlands, salt marshes, meadows, reed beds and dense forests.

Korce környékén lévő gyönyörü hegyek àltall hatàrolt tó aminek a közepén lévő kis szigeten vadon terem a füge illetve egy kis kolostor is talàlható ami egész évben làtogatható. A szigetre a parton lévő helyiek bevisznek motorcsónakkal egy jelképes összegért. Ahol meg is vàrnak. Viszont a szigeten rengeteg a kigyó ezért csak a bàtrabbaknak ajànlott. Parkolàsi,strandolàsi lehetőség van a part mentén.

Περιοχή με πολύ πλούσια πανίδα. Στις Πρέσπες υπάρχει η μεγαλύτερη στον κόσμο αποικία αναπαραγωγής του αργυροπελεκάνου. Αυτό δηλώνει και το σύμβολο του πάρκου, που είναι οι πελεκάνοι.

Изумительный регион. Народу нет практически, магазинов нет... Есть три кабака и невероятная красота и идиллия... Заночевал в одной из двух гостинец, спал как младенец или даже крепче. Цены тут минимальные, пища со своих огородов... Для отдыха от цивилизации самое оно)рекомендую к посещению!))))

Het Prespameer is werkelijk een juweeltje. Doordat het een natuurlijk meer is, en niet een stuwmeer, zit er veel leven in en omheen.

Beautiful nature.

Mooie oude dorpjes in de omgeving.Je kunt aan het meer een bootje huren.Wij hebben wat gezwommen, heerlijk rustig, wel veel stenen, zwemschoenen is een aanbeveling. Schoon water.Het is leuk om in deze dorpjes te wandelen en er door heen te rijden.Er zijn veel dorpjes aan het water gelegen.

Gorgeous mountains and beautiful views

Great hiking in a rural area, scarcely inhabited. 11 (eleventrails well described in english on a map including numerous waypoints UTM and Lat./Long. along the 11 paths . The map is available for free at the National Prespa Park/NPP headquarters. The headquarters are situated in a big private house build on own ground, about 400 metres beyond the village of Goricë e Vogël when coming from Korçë. Its about 100 metres on the left side off the road (Waypoint in UTM coordinate type: 34 T E 493357 / N 4525650). One recognizes the house at the green and blue NPP logo. There is a big cement billboard with maps just outside on the left front of the house. Alas, no indication of opening days and time. One has to be lucky that someone is at home. When we were there on Saturday 5 July 2016 around 2 pm, we waited for a while. Then a guy went outside and allowed us in the house where there is a reserved space with flyers and a little exposition on the prehistory of the Prespa Lake area.Our guide was very helpful albeit he did not speak English (or French, Italian, German or Spanish). He gave us the map and flyers. The last ones on the prehistory of the region and in French and English.Worth to notice: There is a good local restaurant (called Taverna Vassiliwith garden just near the headquarters.
