Stayed in the hotel premiere in Stockton on ts West Been to a family event When I got back there had been trouble in the restaurant Staff later refused to serve me Because I am a member of the traveling community This is racism Keep away from the dump at all coast
Spent three nights here for a family wedding. Room was clean comfortable and quiet. Brewers Fayre good value for money, staff were very helpful and friendly as were the hotel staff.
Premier inns are always great for the price.Pleasant staff.
No air-conditioning, beds really uncomfortable and was kept awake by other guests being drunk and very loud till 2.30am in the morning. Will never stay their again.
Lovely staff, comfortable room and a great breakfast
It was very noisy outside my room because there were 4 people drinking their way through a case of beer at the pub across the car park until 1.30am & as it was hot our windows were open. There was no A/C in the room.Ask for a room away from the pub side.
Great 3 night stay...restaurant was lovely and all staff friendly
Great room with everything we needed for our stay
Rooms are fine, brewers fare, is a different matter. Zero care on food presentation, lukewarm cooked breakfast, not the best really - could do better.Back for a second visit. Brewers Fare in the evening, only use if you really have too. Room only a handful of the TV channels worked, jumped the the shower this morning and it was barely a drip. Information reception and got a oh well response.
Very comfortable, but room very airless and fan although welcome was noisy
Just had the worst experience at breakfast within the restaurant, I know its not same as hotel but customer service worst ever .Left after 25 mins waiting to order breakfast!!!! Asked for a coffee cup and was barked at that they were at the OTHER coffee machine!! Sat with coffee waiting to order ,although it was busy let people know or at least acknowledge them !! Then to see what looked like a very inexperienced manager come around the corner and shout Anyone to order ... wasnt sure to say please sir or put my hand up just plesently tried to catch his eye while he took a families order still looked through me rushing on .have booked for next week for work but will be cancelling. Very disappointed in Premier Inn and very hungry.
We use Premier Inn a lot for business as well as pleasure...This is THE worse one we have ever stayed at. The male on the reception desk is an arrogant upstart who obviously needs training/retraining especially on customer service!!!
Excellent customer services by all staff. Their is a member of staff in the restaurant for the breakfast called Di and she has been there for years and she is one of the reasons we go to this premier inns.
Room tired staining on the wall bed uncomfortable but ok for 1 night.brewers farye however plastic in sons burger ,asked for just burgers and cheese came with onions melted under cheese .poor .
Pleasant hotel but a bit worn around the edges. Room was dusty on the surfaces so could tell it hadnt been used in recent days
The room is fine if a bit warm with no aircon. Service at the Brewers Fair can only be described as non existent. Simply cannot be bothered to complain. In fairness they ignor everyone and not just me.
Very clean spacious and comfortable room. Great location. Easy to find but not so easy to leave from! Rather confusing exit route especially at night time. Despite car satnav improved exit signage and a laminated A0 sized information board outside reception, A4 map handouts in reception would help.A big thank you to Laura for being so caring and attentive to my 91 year young mum. Restaurant evening food was okay but Ive had better. No rice for curry! Batter for fish wasnt exactly crispy!! Microwave reheat perhaps? NB faultless rating for PI Saffron Walden. PI will always be my first choice. Until next time and another location...........
In need of some TLC and a good clean. The bed was stained, bathroom fittings rusty and carpets worn and dusty at the edges. The mattress wasnt comfy and certainly not what I am used to at other Premier inns. Also the room was quite noisy. The biggest let down was the brewers fair next door. Understaffed and the poor manager was clearly overworked. There was one chef and one pot wash in the kitchen over bank holiday weekend?!?!... there was no steak and we couldnt get a table anyway. Just a big let down.
Its a Premier Inn, clean n tidyOnsite restaurant not great
Staff couldnt do enough for us, in the restaurant they calmly dealt with my Dad who suffers from dementia, no fuss over him just understanding. Premier Inn should be proud of them! I also recommend the chicken tikka curry!
We stay here when visiting my son and his family who live in Yarm. Great value, friendly staff and rooms always very clean.
The staff at lunch time didnt have the decency to rebook a room as their food was getting cold and told me to book it onlineRoom 136 chair was so worn out ..I thought it was just the colour that had faded ..but the chair was covered in so much dust it could be lifted in clumps ...went and stayed at the Hamptons for the rest of the week..at least the staff greeted us with courtesy
The staff are very friendly and helpful but the building its self needs refurbishment badly its like walking in to a grubby b&b
Tired and dated hotel, our room was apparently one of the newer refurbished rooms. Not in our eyes. Ripped carpets, uncomfortable bed, with a very heavily stained, old, well used mattress that sagged, lumpy pillows. I must have got a hours sleep. Now writing this very tired, with a stiff neck, and bad head. Restaurant just ok. We asked to be seated in family area which was very cold with a draught blowing in. We then got missed on placing our order. I finally had to chase the server down as they started serving new arrivers. They said sorry as we had just blended in. Floor was strewn with other food, menus were sticky. Food very slow at arriving and not very hot. Only good thing was its location for main routes elsewhere and town centre.
Tired example of what usually a good hotel brand. The big problem is the restaurent with poor service and disgusting food. This place is a major dissapointment.
Only good things to say about this hotel for my short stay. Car park large enough, and hotel clean and tidy. Route to the pub/restaurant next door was very convenient, as there was a covered walkway between the two buildings. Staff were polite. I would stay again.
Stayed for my 50th here with family .. my brother mentioned regarding my 50th and bless Tory ( she ran to my room with a card etc before I got there .. The staff were fantastic .. thank you Martin
The food was very bland and lacked any real flavour. Way too overpriced for the quality of food you get. You get better meals at Wetherspoons and a much better atmosphere. At least the staff were friendly
I wasnt expecting any luxury from a standard room, so I was satisfied. It was clean and tidy, towels and bedings were fresh. Although continental breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, but I blame it on myself, I didnt check whats exactly in its menu.
Good place for a reasonably priced sleep. We stayed a week while visiting my daughter so it was just a spot to lay our heads, shower and have a cup in the morning. Not the Ritz but served its purpose well. Bed was comfy, staff were pleasant
Iv been staying at this hotel for two weeks and im very happy with my room and the beefeater, all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
Arrived with a warm welcome from Tory and Laura.Gave me time to decide on dinner and breakfast reservations and felt like a valuable guest.Restaurant was booked for me which was also reasonably priced and pleasant, with friendly staff. (Leonie).
Stayed here as partner was doing a blacksmith course at the nearby Preston Hall. The room we stayed in was ok, bit dated but pleasant enough. The water pressure for the shower and taps want that great though. Everyone I dealt with on reception were lovely especially Rebecca who was always so helpful.
Have stayed in numerous premier inns and this one rates down in the bottom,Firstly No lift to 1st floor, so had to get a baby ,pram cot and luggage up flights of stairs, the corridor where we was staying absolutely stunk of cannabis.Went to get a drink out of vending machine to find it empty.Wouldnt recommend this hotel at all.The Breakfast was of very poor quality, snotty fried eggs, dried baked beans and bacon, the mushrooms were ok , but at £9.50 it turn out expensive mushrooms.
Short staffed, limited food available on the menu, TVs in rooms dont work, apparently an on going issue, not good enough, get it sorted! Staff on site very friendly though
In need of a refitting. Heavy police presence outside early hours of Saturday morning completely ruined our nights sleep, forcing us to leave a day early as we didnt want another night like that. And as for the Brewers Fair next door that is a complete joke, Limited menu with most items out of stock, and the staff are possibly the laziest Ive ever seen. So overall a complete refit and management change is required at these venues.
Pleasant staff. A bit noisy from other guests (mid week). Not sure they say extra time being spent on cleaning as this just is not the case. Blue toothpaste on the bathroom wall. I didnt need to check in until the evening but not allowing check in until after 4 p.m. saying its because of deep cleaning is clearly not true!
Great place for a weekend out. Clean. Tidy. Well looked after. Only downside is the sounding of fire alarm to alert guests that its time to check out. Very disturbing!
We stayed here after a family gathering nearby as it was perfectly located. The hotel is presented well from the outside and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. We did have a sheet on our bed with mildew staining which was rather off-putting but was swiftly rectified by a staff member whilst we were at dinner. Aside from that the room was clean and stocked with tea and coffee ready for us and we both slept well.I must say that dinner was not great though. Service was very slow and our drink order took a very long time to arrive. I believe they were training a new team member so its understandable but really they could have done with an extra team member on hand to help him out a bit more. The food itself was ok when it did finally arrive but we decided not to drag it out any further so we skipped pudding.Breakfast the next morning was a different experience entirely. We were greeted by a very friendly, enthusiastic team member who showed us to our table and told us where everything was and we helped ourselves. A huge improvement on the dinner service the previous evening.Checkout was simple and there is a phone for calling a taxi by the front desk to make life easier. All in all there is room for improvement staffing wise. Some extra hands on deck would make all the difference. But we enjoyed our stay none the less.
Fantastic Premier Inn. They gave me a free drink when entering. The staff were very friendly. We stopped overnight for a football match at Middlesbroughs ground. Breakfast was average. The beds were very nice and comfy. Our room was fantastic.
Clean well presented rooms, good parking. Excellent customer service, especially the breakfast lady Diane shes very friendly and starts the day well. Pint sized measures always available
I stayed here for a business trip and everything was great. Friendly staff, good room with decent facilities, a special thank you to the night porter, who I think was called Stephen, who helped me carry my equipment up to my room, thank you!
Had a very pleasant stay 3 nights at this Premier Inn. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was well located for our needs. Easy to get to and from on the A66. They were still under Covid restrictions but it was well managed. Things that could be improved when they update facilities are walk in showers instead of baths. If the weather is going to keep being hot then maybe having aircon installed in the rooms. In the restaurant need to ensure meals are served hot. Thank you.
Typical accommodation which was very clean and provided the comfort expected of this chain. The staff were exceptional. Every member was polite and could not have been more helpful.
Great hotel, very friendly staff. We stayed here for work last week and this week and the staff were very polite and helpful on both occasions. The rooms are also nice and clean and there is a Brewers fare pub just opposite which is also very good.
Exceptional staff, had a great laugh trying to get in to my bedroom. Lovely place. Extra joy finding an old friend lives 8 minutes away from the hotel.
On the whole service was OK given these difficult pandemic times. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful but for the older lady on breakfast duty who had a real Oliver moment when I asked for more of the "unlimited breakfast".Some of the rooms have no electricity sockets on the bed side of the room so you cant charge and use devices while in bed unless you bring an extension cable.
Comfy bed, warm room, everything you need for a stay. Shower gel, hairdryer, tea and coffee, etc. Pub next door for food. Staff very accommodating and customer service went beyond my expectations. Had an accident which resulted in trip to a&e after my night out. Staff sent me chocolates and a bathbomb and nice note. Only thing that stopped it being five stars was the constant dripping of a fan in bathroom creating puddle and being dripped on when brushing teeth or washing hands at sink. Do have another booking next weekend though
Standards similar to other Premier Inns. Lovely food in restaurant and nice big bed in the room and all staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside was position - right on main road. Thus meant it was easy to find but also suffered a little from traffic noise. Despite this, we were still very pleased with it.
Stayed over for one night when visiting family in the area. Very pleasant stay for 2 adults and 2 children in a family room. Very clean and tidy. All services in the room in full working order. Staff all approachable, friendly and welcoming. Comfy beds had a good nights sleep. Only negative would be occasionally woken during the night by other guests walking the corridors.
