In-room amenities feature free WiFi, pillow-top mattresses and en suite bathrooms with showers, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities, TVs and desks. There's an adjoining Beefeater Grill and free parking. Breakfast (an extra cost) includes all-you-can-eat and light choices.
Usual Premier Inn fare...good staff and ok rooms....athough starting to look and feel a bit dated/tired. No fridges in rooms, but an ok full breakfast if your paying extra...continental option a bit meagre anΔ self service. I would be ok to stay again.....but,hay....dont expect the Ritz.
Lovely hotel and friendly staff at check in
Beds very comfortable helpful friendly staff and perfect for night stay before our on board journey.
Nice and clean, bathroom outdated. The food is good and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice staff and very quiet hotel for a good nights rest
The room was basic for the price, and finding parking on site was a terrible experience. Theres a Beefeater next door with overflow parking for the Premier Inn, which isnt well sign posted. In terms of sleep, I didnt get much as the room was too warm and the noise outside was noticeable. The staff on the front desk was welcoming and helpful.
Currently staying here. Room to hot, (29 degreesissued fan thats not of any use. Approached reception team that were not very helpful and stated that it states on website no air conditioning which does not help. The price does not reflect the amenities as i paid less for the hotel i stayed in Newcastle with air conditioning.
Good sized rooms, quiet, no air con (stated on websitebut they provided an excellent fan, more than adequate. Very clean rooms. Bed comfy as always in premierβs,Friendly helpful reception. Had the meal deal, steak meal was as good as any Iβve had, top crumble after. Breakfast again was top quality.Bar was friendly good range of beers lagers cocktails etc.All on all anyone who finds fault is nit picking.
Just a few miles off the motorway. Great place to break a journey
Polite staff, clean rooms, enjoyed my stay
I had a room on the second floor. The room was as youd expect, although a bit warm - there was a fan in the room and at reception they offer a sheet to replace the duvet. There is no lift and the stairs look a bit worn, but otherwise the hotel is clean and tidy.
Been in better, been in worse. Needs a coat of paint and the car park is spacious but used by sainsburys next door and the pub. Make sure to lock the car and hide valuables. Pub is nice, staff friendly and good pint of guiness. No fan in room but lad on reception found me one. On a busy main road so if you had to have your window open it could be noisy. Luckily I was at the back.
The staff are all LOVELY, I cannot fault any of them, however sadly the building is very dated. No lift that I could see, so being in a room on the top floor with a suitcase was disappointing. As you can see in the photos there is mold/water damage in the bathroom, paint coming off all over the place, stains on the carpet and no air con. The shower is amazing though and the bed comfortable so its not all bad, just a shame that my stay costs Β£400 for 5 nights which is almost the same as Ive paid to stay in Birmingham and isle of Man Premier Inns and theyve been much higher standard. Lets hope Premier Inn maybe consider discounting prices when the building is sub par. Or attempt to refurb improve these older hotels. Either way, Ive had a comfortable stay so I would stay again if I had to but not at these prices.
Whenever we stay in Rotherham we always stay in the Premier Inn, great service & great staff. πππ
You know what you are getting with a premier Inn, rooms OK restaurant is OK service is OK
Great price, clean room, the receptionist Chelsea was very helpful.
Food very nice, staff nice and helpful if the beer was flat, they changed it πππ
Stay here multiple times over last couple decades, but last few years the heat in room been to warm making sleep uncomfortable, bed great but when said to staff or written review no reply about heat. staff otherwise good and food cheap and cheerful
Friendly staff, nice and clean room.Hot breakfast would of been better as a buffet and not having to order at the table then wait 20 minutes for it to arrive then to realise breakfast times over, ruins the whole experience.
Just what youd expect from a Premier Inn, clean comfortable room
Requested fresh towels which werent put into room had to go to desk 6.50 am to get them myself this is rubbish customer service
Room was clean and tidy breakfast was excellent service was also good plenty to eat
Lovely clean rooms very friendly and helpful staff .
Friendly staff, key stopped working, so bit of a wait in reception for it to be reactivated. But finding that all these places are trying to run on minimum staff.
Great accommodation van broken in to staff looked after me well great CCTV watch crane stoppers they will be on it
Rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable. Good location and close to a supermarket. Dining a little mixed.
Usual Premier Inn. Rooms are big and clean but a bit cold. Again, usual, many saving tricks with self reseting temperatures on the timer.
Pretty good as ever.....bathroom ceiling light not working. Reported it on way out. Banging door as kitchen staff arrived for breakfast woke me up
Lovely clean rooms but bathroom light not working and toilet seat became detached after sitting on it.Lovely breakfast at Beefeater next door !
Rooms could do with a little updating but completely adequate. Cleaning is done on request without quibble. Plenty of clean linen and Staff always friendly couldnt be more helpful.
Its quite run down, there is a noisy pub next door (across the car park, if you are placed on this side), and they didnt allow a refund for a terrible night sleep when the fire alarm went off at 3AM in the morning and we were out in the freezing cold for 30 minutes. Really disappointed, and gave us a terrible night sleep before a long drive home.
If you can get over the initial look of the place, its a little run down, its all good.Parking is limited and there are always lots of large contractors vans staying over BUT,Staff are all friendly, rooms are clean, beds are comfy, beefeater pub next door has amazing food and again the staff are awesome at making you feel welcome.Would have given 5 stars if it werent for the look and parking.
Hoping this is the right premier Inn Rotherham. Just like to say I had a lovely welcoming from lady called Elizabeth but I think she is called Liz for short. She asked me and my friend how we was and what we had planned for the rest of the day she was so interested about it. Absolutely amazing lady hope she gets recognition for this because she is a credit to you and ya team. Thank you again for making such a wonderful stay memorable. Please dont leave the premier inn you do amazing job. Thanks stayed in room number 25 ππππβΊοΈβΊοΈ
A nice hotel but quite old and next to a beefeater restaurant gets very busy. The car park can get very congested. Staff are nice and friendly and very helpful. It could do with a refurbishment.
Stayed here as stop off gap from North Wales. Receptionist very polite and friendly excellent customer service. Good location to carry on journey next day . Room big very clean . Will stay again
Stayed here for 3 nights. The staff are very friendly particularly the ones who serve the breakfast.Room was alittle warm at night even with a fan. Free on site parking. Overall very good experience.
Little bit disappointed with this one, the staff were very friendly as usual from premier inn but the either the soundproofing in this hotel is below the usual premier inn standard or there were a bunch of elephants in the room above me, which isnβt ideal when your trying to sleep early for your 3am alarm and they are bouncing about their room like caged tigers until midnight. Iβd probably try and avoid this premier inn again in future in favour of the Doncaster ones which are excellent and have better sound proofing.
Lovely food in the adjoining pub, great service. Hotel was fine, comfy bed, good nights sleep. In the bathroom you could see where the floor had been cleaned over time in comparison with the rest.
The Premier never fails to disappoint. Lovely and clean and wonderful staff. Only issues we had were a non-working air conditioning unit ( in mid July and no charger ports next to the beds. Will definitely stay again if in the area.
Nice comfy beds and all shops close by so you will never travel far for food. Only thing is the flooring is too creaky if your put in end room and have someone above you, expect loud banging and footsteps all the time
Great place to stop over. Convenient for the M1 too. Excellent Beefeater attached next door where the food is great with large portions too. We had the Premiere Inn Meal Deal there which was good value for money
Good for the cost. But room needed some maintenance. The toilet seat was loose and fell off twice, the overflow in the bath was half fallen off. Also the room was very got 28c plus and had no way to cool it down. (,No ACand being next to a sports bar was rather loud with the drunks outside.
Great food well prepared and presented. Prices very competitive with helpful staff. The Premier Inn is as expected and comfortable, however the extraction system in my room was a little noisy and didnt stop when the lights were turned off
Stayed at this hotel alot recently due to alot of house viewings. All the staff are great! All friendly and helpful, rooms are always clean, plenty of parking and just a general modern vibe. Only thing I would ask for is a better selection on the drinks machine in reception :)
Many thanks to the staff who looked after us so well. We booked two rooms, one for elderly parents. The staff had been very helpful on the phone before we arrived in arranging for an accessible room. Once wed arrived the help and kindness continued. Clean comfortable rooms. Just what we needed. Many thanks. Back again in 6 months.
We stayed here for 2 nights we could not fault our stay the rooms we large and airy bed was comfortable the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the a joining beefeater restaurant and again was greeted by friendly staff the food was varied and fresh and was very enjoyable. There was a young man called Dan who worked the bar he was a right gem. We would definitely visit again
Beautiful, nice pressed linen, Facilities available at my convenience.... Shower and Bath were very nice, put would prefer some color. As I find white very clinical..... FOOD amazing, variety of choices for Breakfast.... Situated in an ideal location. Close to amenities that are necessary to live in luxury.
Have now been here a few times over the years. Never have had an issue. Ample free parking. Reception staff have always been welcoming. On this occasion we turned up early and were allowed our bags in the room at 10am. Rooms are of a big size, have great temperature control and are clean and tidy. You can access the beefeater next door without leaving the hotel, you just need your room key.
Typical Premier Inn with good parking and location. No staff on reception so had to ring bell and wait to check in. We requested a top floor room and were pleased with the accommodation. Large clean room with compact bathroom with bathtub. Window in room opened slightly for fresh air. Lots of power points but non near the bedside, so couldnt use phone in bed whilst charging. Comfortable bed and a good nights sleep with no disturbances until 9am when the cleaners began their rounds.
Comfortable beds, large family rooms, nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The best part of our stay at this Premier Inn was the staff. Very friendly, genuine people who want to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Thanks especially to the lady on reception who was extremely helpful.
