Your usual Premier Inn but only 3 stars for the car park where you can only park in blue Bayes and you lucky if theres a one Otherwise paying extra to some thieving parking company or risking a ticket!

A very clean environment, a warm welcome when checking in, a great breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold options, the only criticism I have was the poor state of the bathroom ceiling above the bath which needs sorting (room 110).30th September, different room same issue, peeling ceiling above the bath, other that that and the first key card not working its still a great place to stay.

No phone in room. Reception least bother abt guests most of the time.. There is no one at the reception.No lunch provided... Horrible experience!

Amazing food, staff really helped me and my boyfriend!

Very convenient location in the city centre - within reach of the train station, the University, malls and the major stores. The reception staff was comely and resourceful. I had a sumptuous main and dessert with good recommendations from the staff. The room was okay for the standard of a 3-Star, though should have a small fridge.

Beds are comfortable and the food and drinks was great

Very good hotel. But, i only gave it three stars as there is no mini fridge in the room. That means you cant keep your water cold, theres no where to store food and so on.

Premier in has always had clean rooms, never had any problems with the rooms or service, will happily stay again

Clean with the usual musky Premier Inn smell - mostly due to the design of the room/toilet. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Excellent for a short stay.A bit of a fuss checking in using the self service kiosk as it didnt give us our room keys and had to call a member of staff so this didnt save us or the hotel staff sby time!Good breakfast service and quick friendly service from all staff.

Excellent hotel, as expected from premier inn. I parked in the white bays as they are free after 6pm until 8am and I used the RingGo app in the morning to pay for 2 hrs parking. Still cheaper than the hotel’s parking.

A lovely stay for a family party. Perfectly clean and comfortable. Staff were brilliant, particularly Beth. Went out of her way to chat, make you feel welcome and go the extra mile.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here from 12/05/2022 - 14/05/2022. The experience wasnt that good because we got put in Room 308 - which had no hot water coming from the shower so we requested to move rooms which was granted to Room 406. The bed wasnt comfortable and we struggled to get a good nights sleep.We decided to try the Premier Inn Breakfast on 13/05/2022, and it was poor and didnt taste nice or an actual breakfast. I had a full English breakfast and I didnt like the texture and taste of the mushrooms, scrambled eggs and fried eggs. This is something in my opinion that needs to be massively improved for the price of £9.50 because it aint good enough. My girlfriend had the continental breakfast and she didnt like it.The shower curtain in room 406 smelt peculiar and off putting. The bath was way too small so we struggled to get a proper wash due to our disabilities as me and my girlfriend both have autism.It wasnt the best hotel stay that we had as it was our first romantic getaway as a couple. I wouldnt pay for more than one night because the shower was rubbish and the bath was too small also I didnt like the experience overall.Even though the staff at reception were friendly and polite to us.

Premiere Inn.Hands down the best in Middlesbrough.Affordable.Excellent location.Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. Right at the town centre.High quality of service.Excellent rooms and spacious.Friendly staff.Very polite and kind.Definitely recommend and will go again.

Great stay, comfortable beds, tidy room, super close to town centre and completely contact free.Only thing to be aware of is parking as you may need to park in Middlesbrough Council car parking spaces.

Decent Premier Inn and ideally located for the football and the town. Rooms always a good size and clean and tidy. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Awful customer service, was about 30 minutes past checkout time however they were threatening to call the police although we were still getting ready. Thought it was really pathetic as any other premier inn I’ve been in have been lenient with this, specially seeing as though we weren’t taking the mick on purpose, our makeup/hair artists arrived late hence why we were running a bit late. Got very racist / horrid vibes from them. Wouldn’t recommend going here at all!!! Specially not if you’re of colour.

It would be 5 stars if it wasnt for the god awful parking , really really clean and nice throughout , foods expensive but your not far from better places to eat , spacious room with all-round modern amenities , parking is a joke tho with very very limited spaces and its 5 pound per night, the staff I dealt with could be better Ive been in cheaper hotels where the staff have been way more helpful and they certainly judge you on appearance

Great location and a great room very clean quiet and comfortable. Staff were amazing and friendly, the girl waiting on in the evening was really polite and helpful and the lady cooking was amazing to do what she done. Food was great breakfast was perfect (value for money 110%)

Stayed for night after having an eye operation at local hospital, the room was excellent, the staff couldnt have been more helpful, particularly liked that you dont have to leave until 12 which allows you to relax a bit more in the morning, have stayed in many big chain hotels, this has to rank as the best

Fantastic place to stay very central to the town. Brilliant staff especially the lady doing breakfast nothing was to much.

Stayed here many times as its cheap, clean and has air conditioning. Close to all the North Yorkshire coast and all the beautiful beaches. Staff have always been excellent and helpful. Useful tip, parking cost is £5 per night but the road next to the hotel is free from 6PM, we always park there and have never had any problems.

Hotel location and room are good. There is parking paid which is 5 pound per day for hotel visitors. Breakfast is standard, I will not select breakfast for next time.

Still not cleaning rooms during your stay due to Covid? Bathroom amenities cheaper than they used to be. Very clean and good location. Better than jurys inn next door but still only very average.

In general I love a premier inn! This one is relatively new so it’s one of the nicer ones. The staff were also super helpful and friendly coming in too! Could do without paying a fiver for parking though!

Just like to thank James (tall young ladwho not only made us feel very welcomed he looked after our every need being attentive throughout our stay at the hotel. Seems the cook messed up our order so our starters and mains came out all together but James profusely apologised for the mistake and did all he could to ensure it did not ruin our meal. Room, bed and shower are great, very comfortable. BUT!! The mobile data signal in every Premier Inn I have stayed at for years has always been blocked. This is an utterly diabolical and shameful way to get get people to pay more for hotel wifi. It is inconceivable that my 5G phone with full bars in a modern, busy city centre should suddenly drop to ZERO BARS once I step inside a brand new hotel. I can get maximum 2 bars of 4G only at the window. This is ridiculous. If I were to be paying my own money I WOULD NOT BE STAYING IN A PREMIER INN if I had a choice.

1 towel for 2 people. Leaking toilet. Friendly staff, but breakfast staff had to be asked 3 times for tea/coffee before we got any. Easy parking process with payment, which was very reasonably priced.

Went to sleep with the heating on low, woke up at 6am feeling like I was being cooked. My partner suffers from asthma, which is triggered by heat, and was having an asthma attack. The heating in this building must be controlled by Satan himself.Complained, cancelled our booking, got a refund and went elsewhere.

Clean and quiet. Friendly staff and the Riverside stadium and train station are not too far of a walk away. Just a shame couldnt go to the match due to covid restrictions but will definitely stay there when Im next in Middlesbrough

Very good for the price & was glad that hotel was open in the COVID-19, Corona Virus pandemic times & they have put signs around the hotel so people could move around safely. laid out so its COVID-19 friendly... I have uploaded photos from around the hotel which will help you. Things like car park, parking cost, times, signs, sanitation, etc. Parking you can pay by ring & go over the mobile phone or simply put money into the carpark machine or inside the receptionist can helo you. When you arrive you can park in the carpark for £5 which allows you 24hrs, 80p all day sunday or for free somewhere near next to hotel but have to move it by 8am in morning minday to saturday.. Just ask receptionist and they will point out where.Disable person can park for free, along with motorcyclist & the car park has cctv monitoring systems in place.On arrival i realised that the restaurant & bar was closed & there was a barrier restricting you from entering. Its understandable as the lockdown restrictions.The hotel was clean & the reception staff was very helpful on arrival.No fridge in room, but had a tv, with limited channels on it, kettle, hair dryer, air conditioning, Double bed.Downfall the window does not open for fresh air and feels like lack of oxygen. Hence i gave it a well deserved 3 star & was just clad could stay some as was up there because of a funeral anyway & not a holiday.

Stayed here more than once for 4 nights, there are some lovely staff and so helpful. Very spacious rooms and a brilliant view. Not far at all from town centre. Very happy with my stay. We will definitely be coming back very soon, haven’t tried the food yet it will definitely be on my list for next time 😊

I stayed on the 15th January...by choice, as iv stayed here many time before...work or leisure.Perfect in every way. Welcoming, food, hospitality, cleanliness....never a fault. Id like to name the staff on and say thank you...Beth, Liam, Jillian, Mark and Tom...also the house porters, lovely rooms.

Pamela on reception was excellent and seemed to be doing almost every job from managing the place to serving food - shes an absolute credit to the Whitbread Group. A well located Premier Inn that is much the same as any other but as always, the mattresses, duvets and pillows are as good a much higher rated hotel. Admittedly, it was quiet when we were there but they gave us two rooms with adjoining doors and the dinner and breakfast were very good. The deal that they do on the meals, particularly with four kids, makes it overall great value.

Another really good Premier Inn experience! The price was really good as we booked well in advance. The hotel was right in the centre of town, so only a short taxi ride from the bars ect, or within walking distance. The rooms were really good, and very clean. The service from reception and bar/restaurant staff was excellent too. Highly recommend this Premier Inn!

The hotel was ideally placed for us going to a concert at the Riverside a short 5 minute walk was all it took,we were 2 minutes from a busy town centre full of bars and shops . The hotel was immaculate and the atmosphere was buzzing.the room was fantastic with aircon that worked. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast the following morning was second to none. Even a costa machine. The staff were close at hand to remove the dirty dishes and make it ready for the next customer. We will be staying here again well done and thanks for making our stay easy.

Fantastic experience staying here. Attended primarily for Aston Villas visit to the Riverside Stadium (10 minute walk)with the family.Paid the extra for Evening medal and breakfast. Very good value and as good quality as the Hilton hotel I stayed at the week previous. Budget price but 5 star service.All staff friendly and a real credit to the hotel.

The hotel is right in the town centre. It is still relatively new and looking great. All the staff here were nice and friendly. The guy at the front desk when we arrived past midnight was exceptional. Parking isnt free though, we had to pay a flat fee of £4 for 24 hours parking eventhough we were parking for a very few hours. The cooked breakfast is just okay. Overall, it is a decent hotel for a short stay in Middlesbrough and we had a good experience.

The hotel was excellent. You have to pay £4 a day for parking but that was the one and only but of bad news. The meals in the Thyme restaurant were really good. We were part of a wedding party and got to sit together with the others. I recommend it.

Stayed here whilst visiting the area for two nights. It was an absolutely lovely and chilled two nights here. Rooms are amazing. Beds are super comfy and everything was clean and crisp. Talked to locals and they said it hasn’t long been built. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Will definitely be staying here again in future visits. Hotel is also close to lots of things, restaurants, bars, cinema and etc.
