Prairie Oasis in Brooks

Chocolate bars were old and its not a pizza place . its convenience store

Very grateful to see this lovely blue and white building appear in the distance after many miles of prairie gravel roads. Fireworks, cold beer, snacks and gasoline. Arriving on bicycle I decided to fuel up with some Eatmore bars, jerky and Cold Budweisers. Not alot of conversation to be had with the staff but the lady was sure efficient or maybe she just didnt want me around... Would have been 4 stars however my Chocolate Bar was harder than a rock.

Serves snacks such as potato chips and pop. You can also buy cold beer as well as fireworks.

Friendly, trustworthy place and people. Washroom was out of use.

I pick up my daughter there every second weekend. She always goes in for a treat at the service station and the older gentleman is always happy to see her.

Just an overnight stop for gas but seemed like an attractive stop that would have everything you might want. Driveways and parking areas were well maintained and bathrooms were clean.

This is a unique stop if you are travelling Highway 36. For those of you that dont know, there was a scene in the movie "R.V." that was filmed here. I dont know about now, but the last time that I made the stop, their firework selections was great and the prices were decent. The store owner is friendly and it is a fine stop to get a refreshment or a snack.

Lovely little gas station. Nice and small and is amazing. Saved our butts since we almost ran out of gas.

The Prairie Oasis has saved me a couple of times when it comes to needing a gas station. Great selection of fireworks as well!
