Pozieres Memorial - War memorial in Amiens, France
Site vraiment majestueux
Beautiful solemnity. Sadly not wheelchair friendly. Easy parking on both sides of the road.
A very sobering place to visit. So many gave their lives for us. Immaculately kept. Everyone should visit a war cemetery in France.

Beautifully maintained grounds and an amazing memorial to the fallen..Tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in the great war

Ungle Bayard is remembered here
Très beau et bien entretenu
Prachtig onderhouden kerkhof
Stunning memorial commemorating more than 14,000 of the missing, the men of the British Empire who fell in the Somme area between March and August 1918. Casualties of the German Spring Offensive and subsequent battles who have no known grave. The memorial stands in open countryside, about a kilometre west of Pozières on the Bethune road. The front wall of the memorial is in an arcade style with an imposing gateway. The remaining three sides hold the panels containing the names of the missing. Enclosed within the four walls is the Pozières British Cemetery, the final resting place for more than 2,700 men, many of them from the original Somme battlefields dating from 1916.
Beautifully looked after war cemetery
Very humbling
Memorial to the missing
Erg indrukwekkend.
Am awe-inspiring place to visit
Gt Gt uncle is remembered here.

Went to see my great uncle James Wing (private 1st battalion Sherwood foresters (Notts and derbyshire))
Well worth the visit
CWGC do amazing job with this and every other site, it is a stunning resting place for lots of true heroes.
A memorial to those killed in these fields during WW1
Superbe et émouvant mémorial.
A beautiful place to pay respects to the lost of some many lives.
Very atmospheric, beautifully kept.
A sombre place for reflection
Directions were spot on. Id have never of found where I was going.
Poignant though provoking place, a beautiful cemetery in the middle of a field
A special place to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice
Humbling.
A somber place, this is one of many memorials along this road, a place to remember the brave souls who gave their lives for ours to be free. (I didnt want to do a rating, but it wont allow me to post without. Very annoying google)
Very fitting tribute to so many who fell here during WWI.
A place to remember the first of the last who died to make this world safe
