This is a little known and used provincial day park. It has easily accessible green picnicking spaces (via direct access with vehicleas well as a short shoreline / woodland trail that is easily hikeable...good trail for kids and dogs, and anyone looking for a short, leisurely stroll. The shoreline scenery is fantastic with panoramic views of the Northumberland coast. There is a small stretch of sandy beach which is directly accessible by vehicle with adjoining picnic areas. There are a couple of outhouses in the park. Overall, if you are looking for a quieter shoreline/ woodland picnic park or for cross country skiing or snowshoeing in the winter- this is the spot for you.
