Maybe we visited on a bad day, as it was a Sunday it was raining heavily and there was no space to sit on the decked area on the lower level. The food was disappointing in terms of flavor and all of it was very greasy ( they didnt trim the excess fatty parts off of the oxtail for exampleand there was a strong unpleasant smell where we were seated upstairs.I highly doubt my self or my 4 friends will return.

Ordered food for my family, the curried chicken tasted like tumeric chicken, no spice at all, the fried chicken was dry and bland. The rice n peas barely had any peas and had no taste of coconut milk. Terrible experience, I couldnt eat the food.

Great 👍😃 ambiance, the food and service was on point. Staff was friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend to everyone.

I ordered the ackee and salt fish with white rice and serving of mash. The ackee had too much black pepper and the food was cold. The mash was delicious! Overall the food was ok, nothing spectacular tbh.Edited: I don’t know you can mess up ackee and salt fish. It didn’t taste good at all 😭

I ordered a curry goat from this restaurant upon receiving and paying for my meal I realized that I had received chicken instead of curry goat. I made a call to Jay Gordon to rectify the situation and he was dismissive, unapologetic and insensitive. He stated that I would have to drive all the way back to the restaurant to get back the $300 which was the difference between the chicken and the goat.After waiting for 30-45 mins for the food and not getting what we wanted. There was no sympathy on the part of the employee, no solutions where I was not inconvenienced was offered. It was my first and last experience with this company. Would not recommend.

Potwah was one of the biggest contenders for best food in Kingston just a year ago. Now, it the worst, full stop. From the bad customer service the the completely uncooked meat Ive gotten more than once. Whomever is in management now needs to be fired.

The food was mouth watering!!!! Excellent!! The food made it all worth it. I thought the food was a little expensive, especially because the sides were all individually priced. Nothing came with the protein except the Alfredo dishes.The space was nothing like I was expecting. I thought is would have been more of a fine dining experience. I got more of a grab and go vibes. Even though the owner/manager explained that they do not provide a dining experience on a Sunday; I was very disappointed. When I called no one explained that to me.They tried to facilitate my family and another family however, my family and I were given wet plates and plastic glasses from which to dine. My plate was not properly washed. All in all it was a fair to good experience, as we made the best of it. Parking was terrible. The space was used as a car wash so we had to wait on persons to leave to get parking. My advice, order and pick up, do not dine. You will not regret the food. Hats off to the chef. I was really impressed.

Had the oxtail and beans for Sunday Dinner it was awesome wasnt so pleased by the mac & cheese though and the portion could be better.

Had the curry goat lunch it was good, if u cant handle pepper sorry fe you. Only thing is they could have put more in the box light bad.

This was for takeout. The location has limited parking, so in busy periods you will have to park outside. The Sundeh Dinnah is very popular, so call ahead or Whatsapp the order in, otherwise youll have a long wait for service. The food finishes early. Food quality is good, but the quantity has reduced of late. This isnt the place for you if youre expecting sparkling customer service and tourist-level hospitality. Good variety of Jamaican and made-to-order dishes.

Ordered their "Sundeh Dinnah" special and was rather impressed with their professionalism and timeliness. They make a great potato salad. Their rice and peas and roast chicken was OK. Need to visit in person next
