Food is good, the view is wonderful

Since years a fantastic restaurant to go to! They serve traditional austrian cuisine on a high level. Highly recommended as well to visit for tourists as the restaurant has a fantastic view of Linz and the surrounding. It is often used as an event location for weddings etc.

The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. And the view is wonderful!

Very bad service. People working there are very impolite. Will never go there again.

Great food, fabulous view of Linz.

We had event in this beautiful restaurant and everything went without a glitch. The owner, Martin, was there to supervise and brief the staff - really making sure that everyone was happy. The service, ambiance, and food are all 5 stars. Water jugs were never empty, the hot beverages were served hot and fast, the wines were kept pouring. We were very happy! The only I thing I wished for was for us to get there before dark for the awesome view.

What I found quite positive is the magnificent view and the high quality of service. The staff is nice and fine-mannered. The menu could be richer in choice and I personally found the meals a bit oversalted (soup and fish/meat), which was kind of a disappointing, though that can be neutralized with beer/radler... So I would say price/food quality could be better. Another thing to consider is that during weekends and public holidays it might be really overcrowded and reservation could be a must. Nevertheless, it was a nice experience and we would definitely go again.

The food and ambiance are just fantastic here. The staff is very observant and charming. We visited with our kids aged 5 and 8 and the staff was very welcoming and made us, and most importantly the kids, feel very comfortable.

Wed been there at the beginning of December, so the view was limited by fog and rain with snow. But its nice place.

Fine dining with fanstastic view (especially at night). If you want a gourmet experience this a is a place to go. Staff is very polite and well trained. Every food is prepared carefully and tastes just as well as is looks. The chef creates a wonderful combinations of flavors and there was nothing I could complain about. The interior is cozy, but fancy and the view on Linz is amazing. It goes without saying, but this is not a casual lunch place. The prices are higher, but the experience is worth it. Good place if you want to impress a visitor, have a special occasion or want to enjoy a gourmet food.

Great view of Linz from the restaurant patio. Staff is really friendly and they have great options. Menu is carefully made so while there are not a lot of options, what they have should satisfy any palate. Great experience.

Jumped in for a quick sundowner (or a late dessert, were flexible :- without reservation, on mothers day and did not even hope to get a table, but sat at the (quite fullterrace some minutes later due to perfect service and enjoyed the marvelous view over Linz.Service was competent, attentive, friendly, helpful & the dessert was brilliant: Macadamia Blondie accompanied by an iced coffee with Amaretto espuma.Even if the Blondie was a bit compact - the iced coffee with espuma... D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!!!
