Port of Cork 2000 Garden - Park and Garden in Cork, Ireland
Port of Cork 2000 Garden in Cork
Description
Privilege
Super location
I like to come here - there are very few people if no people at all. You can stroll or sit on a bench and admire the flow of River Lee. There are really nice trees and bushes with colourful flowers in the spring and summer. You can spot lots of different birds and rabbits, too.
MoreBeautiful tranquil walk by the Beautiful river Lee -
Small
Beautiful
Lovely coffee, great spot right on the river. Grab a coffee and enjoy a lovely walk aling the marina! Pure bliss.. Ill be back 👌🏽
MoreA little piece of greenery squeezed in between the very busy Lower Glanmire Road and the River Lee, adjacent to Tivoli Docks. The background traffic noise really emphasises the tranquil flow of the river. Theres usually some form of river traffic to gaze at as it glides slowly past.
MoreLovely on a sunny day for a nice walk and coffee
The port is located outside of the city centre around 2 kms away. The park is tidy and has a river flowing across the park.
MorePerfect place for a long walk. When the weather is good worth visiting. Open 24 hours all day. Right opposite to Marina we can see a different view of Marina. Definitely worth going for walk and run. Beautiful garden with nice view and quite place.
MoreNice place to walk, very calm . Well maintained . very nice views and many benches to sit .. if you stay in Lower Glanmire you can come here daily for a walk.
MoreVery good
Quite small but nice park by the river. Close to the buisy road.
Well maintained place. Overlooks the river Lee with busy road and occasional train passing behind it. Some benches available
MoreVery peaceful just wish the gates could be left open longer while we have the bright evenings. Used to be open later
MoreLovely small park on the waterfront.
Lovely park had a nice time there.
Great local amenity.
Not too bad, best as only park in this area

Nice garden for walking..Walking 30 minutes from center
Pork of Cork 2000 Garden is a lovely location to meet friends and family. The park is generally quiet and uncrowded. There are a number of gas stations nearby to grab some snacks to eat and relax with in the park. The only downside is that there are no restrooms. It is wheelchair accessible. Theres wheelchair accessible parking. It is great for families and groups to meet and get away from the crowds and city.#accessible #familyfriendly #wheelchairaccessible #groupseating #greenspace
MoreBeautiful walks
Nice for a very short stroll beside the river. Plenty of seating. No toilets. Limited car parking. Popular with dog walkers
MoreHas become increasingly neglected by the council and now GAA who should be improving the realm around the area. Footpaths are constantly slimy and slippery as well as uneven
MoreMost plesent and relaxing
Very good hope it never closes
Need more features added but an excellent family friendly place
Lovely place for a walk.. beside the river.. lovely plants for the summer..👍👍
MoreIt is like being in another world. And next to the Lee rowing club there is a gorgeous takeaway cafe where they do a beautiful cappuccino..recomend it highly Ive forgotten the name but Ill be back
MoreGrand out lad. Wouldnt stay long on a wet day there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A fantastic attempt by the northside to copy Atlantic Pond, conveniently located on opposite sides of the river. Unlike AP, most people could be from glanmire road, tivoli, st lukes etc. Local info is important
Morejust lovely and peaceful in the autumn sunshine
Great place to read a book down side Weather
No parking and drab
Brilliant little Walk , nice view across the Lee
Very good
Great walks.
Its nice and peaceful and ideal for a walk
Nice walk
Nice little walk by the river
Small park but friendly and not crowded
Nice little garden on the river Lee. It could use some TLC.
A little Oasis of quiet just next to the main road, with a walkway and a few seats to sit down on. There are lots of plants and a view over the river Lee towards Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Parking can be difficult however as there are very few spaces. Can be accessed if walking from the Lower Glanmire Road or Silver springs side. But access on the Silversprings side is not easy.
MoreIts small. Its great.
Disappointing, a big opportunity wasted.
Beautiful quiet park along the River Lee, fabulous views of the marina, the port of cork and the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh Stadium, great place for walking dogs also
MoreNice park, relaxing
Great spot to relax and chill oit
