Ordered the surf & turf, rare. Came out med-well. The emperor was like rubber.Both meals where cold.Would have sent it back, but we where the and just wanted to leave.

Every time I come past from perth, I have to stop here & get the chicken pami…Best chicken parmi in Western Australia. It was yummy, delicious & massive size!! It was worth the money. I love my chicken Pami’s & this pami tops it!! The staff are great & prices are great to.

Welcoming with good food, we went over a few days (10 of usin November 2021, everybody had a great experience. The food all came at the same time and was excellent. Tried a few places to eat in Canarvon but this was my favourite.

The food at that place is very good.The Rdd Snapper I had was perfect.Minimum batter and all fish cooked beautifully.

Had a couple of beers and also coffee here and sat outside at front of hotel with umbrellas. Came early afternoon so was quiet. Hotel bar area was clean and staff very friendly. Also group of 4 of us came few days later and had a meal and drinks there. Food nice, tasty and substantial

dont bother eating here stay away from the fish and chips small portion and fish not great, ice coffee tasted like milk.

Food is great Personal service from the owners and it shows hotel is clean and the beer is cold .

Very friendly local pub with a good menu of local produce. The pork belly with Shark Bay prawns was absolutely fantastic.

Not friendly at all to travellers. We arrived to grab a takeaway breakfast At 10:45 to be told the kitchen is closed though the sign said available till 11. We waited to get a takeaway coffee only to be told we still would need to wait till after 11:30 as that was when the kitchen was open. All the while other patrons were being served. After a long drive up here, it was not worth the effort to go here.

Great old Aussie hotel & pub! Not for the people who crave luxury but if you like to stay in a building with a hundred year history, this is the authentic place. The common area upstairs is huge and the balcony beautiful. The people running the place were really friendly and helpful. Sadly, the pub was closed that night due to unforeseen circumstances but open for breakfast the next day, which attracted a good crowd and rightfully so.

Darkness enveloped the dusky evening as we approached Carnarvon with dry throats and empty bellies. Port Hotel offered an adequate perch and a cold brew to refresh we tired travellers. The food was served briskly and the friendly staff offered many helpful hints as to possible ports of call. Some attention could be paid to the toilets and music for atmosphere. Would return.

Just had the best bacon & egg burger with hash brown. very tasty and very filling - no lunch for me!.The coffee at the Port is the Best..Quick Friendly service.

Stopped here for breakfast and it was nice and cosy.Coffees were lovely, smashed avocado was ok (a little bit flavourlessand hubby’s banana bread was delicious.

We went to visit the Hotel for nostalgic reasons and what a lovely experience. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We had a glass of wine sitting out front and then decided to go back for dinner. Dinner was very reasonably priced and the quality of food excellent. There was a good vibe in the place and it made for a very enjoyable evening. We would highly recommend. Rob & Mike

Best Angus steak I have ever eaten, and that says alot for me, was cooked medium to rare and it just melted in my mouth the side salad was fresh and tasty and packed with different flavours that exploded in my mouth. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be dining here time and time again.

Hands down The worst meals weve ever had, steak was freezing cold, chips were over cooked and the "salad" was just leaves. Nearly $200 for absolute rubbish.

Beautiful bar... literally the wood is a work of art. Has a beer garden thats a little bare at this time. Friendly staff and locals, good for kids and a counter meal.

Pub Food to Die For. The food is on par and even better than what you will get in a capital city! The Port Hotel has a consummate chef and created the best steak burger and fish and chips we have ever had.

Lovely meals so far at this hotel, food and service could not be faulted. Would not hesitate to recommend or go back.

Terrible pub, waitress behind the bar absolutely useless. All other pubs in town are lovely!

Good coffee and some delicious cakes on offer. Lunch menu was fresh and well priced.

Went for an evening meal. Very quiet. We had two versions of the trawlermans catch one crumbed one battered, both very bloody nice. Recommended.

Backpacker rooms were about $30 per night, you had no double beds besides the cabin rooms which were $120per night, so we had to go with one of them. We got let into our room & there were cockroaches & insects everywhere inside, and considering this is one of your best rooms, this is not good enough.The only cups you left for us to drink from were filthy & had bugs in them.As well as the kettle.We kept all the windows & doors shut yet still got mauled by Mosquitos.Tv cord also didnt work so were led in silence for the whole stay.So maybe check your seals, electronics & for bugs before people check in.
