Gyros & Banana Boat are good, other things hit or miss my opinion.Drive thru little long but calling in ahead of time helps.No dining in , either in your car or take it home.

Real Friendly people and great food. Cant go wrong with ordering anything here.

Prices are unbeatable and quality of the food is great, hard to get both and thats why this place is the best.

I have been coming here for years and the best thing to order is a chicken diablo the best chicken sandwich I have had and for only 5.99.I love it so much I have to have my Chicken diablo at least once a week.its so big and juicy I request mine with Jalapeños and bbq.

5+Very inexpensive stand, the food is decent, the price is excellent. No frills, but when youre hungry, you can do without the frills. Pick up and go, or eat outside on their umbrella covered benches. Their half pound burger is really quite tasty, thin and crispy fries, yum, ccompared to the cost of other Burger providers, this is a big winner. Their Chicago dogs are also very good. Years ago, this used to be a shirls But the prices are much less than Shirls. If you only have a few bucks, this is the place to go. And, you can see the kitchen from the front counter, very organized and clean.🤔👍

Oh my god this is my favourite place for desserts! Their Butterfinger milkshake is the best milkshake ever Ive had in my whole life! Its so filling and flavorful. I go every week. Amazing variety of milkshakes and definitely worth going.

Great local placethat serves Chicago style food. I cant believe that they still have 1 dollar burger and fries, theyve had this since I was in high school which was over 12 years ago. The chicken diablo sandwich is the best. The staff and owner are always nice and friendly unlike many places nowadays.

I thought this was the place.. prices may have changed but not like all the other restaurants percentage of change.They truly try to accommodate people with best food along with best prices. Its a hidden gem in my opinion.

Ordered from here Wednesday and got the 1lb cheeseburger and a large sprite. Everything was perfect. Went there today after work to get the 1lb cheeseburger again and they took it off the menu. Very disappointed. Wound up with the 1/2 lb instead. Still very good.

Been coming to this place for over a decade and still is the best local comfort fast food joint, theyre burger and fries for a buck and few cents still taste good for a decent lunch.

Been going here since a child when the $1 burger and fries got us thru real hard times ! The beef combo and maxwell polish is my staple buy. I thanked the owner the other day for staying true to his customers and not charging a astronomical price for food like these other places I refuse to go too !

You always wait longer then the time given but the food is good for the price.

Best place ever I remember going to Jordys when I was a kid the owner still same minus the wife witch its always been the man anyways I will forever support this restaurant honestly he should receive some kind of reward cause he gave the homeless and poor a place to go and get a good meal the $1 hotdogs or burger and fries has always been good to us

Worst service ever. They said theyll have my order ready in 10 minutes, got there and I got completely ignored when I asked for it. Wasnt gonna wait more when I have already placed the order and was told only ten minutes.Terrible

Best fast food around the people are nice and great prices. If you are in Waukegan and go anywhere else for fast food you are dumb.

The fries were a little dried but the burgers were super tasty. The steak sandwich was super delicious made just the way I like it. The place was busy as I realized I was a little late to find this gem.

Excellent food, low prices. Not sure why people expect them to have a drive thru as fast as chain places when everything here is prepared fresh. If you cant wait a bit, call ahead and pickup inside.

Been coming here for years and I always love the food. Its not as fast service like other fast food locations though, so youre going to have to wait a bit, but I say its worth it.

Long long wait n drive thru I also feel thy should hire more people or get a speaker to take more orders . I dont eat hear or eat meat but took my spouse there many time its not fast food . But the lady was very professional n hard working

10/10 bang for your buck place. Can get a triple cheeseburger for like 3.99 if I remember correctly. They have specials that change daily which is really nice. Perfect for when your hungry but you dont want to order a whole meal.

I use to come here all the time. But today Easter at 7:23 pm its taken over 25 minutes in the drive thru. And shes not very nice about it either. Guess coming here from Gurnee was a mistake. I just wont come back and thats a shame.

A local favorite! Great burgers, fries, gyros sandwiches, not to mention soft serve ice cream and milk shakes. When the kids were younger the dollar burger and fries were a hit!

I was getting the chicken bites and the fries they were really cheap and it was fresh nothing wrong with the food and the owners even came out and had a chat with a few customers truly a great experience

Horrible experience! Waited 30 minutes just to place an order in the drive thru with only 2 cars in front of us. We called our order in ahead of time when we called to see if it’s ready we were told our food had been sitting ready but they needed our fries for another order!

Their food is always fresh and delicious! Its easy to tell that they use real beef and chicken and it never tastes Frozen. Between their fresh food excellent service and extremely fair prices, I would recommend this place to everybody!

I got the gyro platter and some $1 burgers. It was amazing! I recommend that you call you orders in ahead of time because it does get busy.

Some decent cheap deals. Most of the food is fried, so its hard to mess that up. Their shakes are meh. I ordered a pineapple pina colada shake. Unfortunately I could taste the staleness of the coconut IMMEDIATELY.SHIRLS THEY ARE NOT.

They have a nice variety on the menu. The service was good. Was busy food takes awhile but the price makes it worth it. Great fries

Small family restaurant. Ive being going since I was a kid and their ice cream cones are still one of the best. Their size of cones are about half foot of ice cream which always I feel like a little kit with a huge ice cream. Even tho its a fast food restaurant is not that fast but thats because their food is always hot and fresh, they always prepare your food fresh nothing precooked. Which drive thru might take about 5 to 10 min depending on what you order so always make time or call in advance to place your order. The owners are most of the time helping out customers and always very friendly people, they always like to know their customers so by the next two or three visits they know what you like.

Drive up window is slow, better to go in and order. People shouldnt use drive up widow for large orders. I gave up in line for drive up and went inside. Had chocolate banana shake and was great.

Super slow drive thru, prices are reasonable, the icecream and food are fresh and delicious.Open times in my experience havent been what are posted online. Call ahead.Will definitely be going back!

Poppys is a great place to find all your greasy bad food but its all the stuff you love. I eat at Poppys all the time. They would be a 3.5 or 4 star restaurant to me if they would upgrade their establishment and get a better drive through system. Its sucks going there because you wait a long time for food and don’t even think about going through the drive up especially if theres other cars. But if you have time to wait its worth it.

Great neighborhood restaurant! From the fresh fries to the real milk shakes, everything Ive tried is delicious. I highly recommend the Italian beef, but the 1/4 pound burger and Chicken Diablo are among my favs. And everything comes w fries!!

I havent been hear in a long time about 5 years. I remember when they use to be by the lake on Sheridan rd. The two owners are very friendly i need to go there soon i wonder if they still have the $1.00 burger and fries lol.
