Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Reno

Had a great experience with this location today. They have a young crew running the place and thats normally a bad formula for mediocre service. Not this crew! They were very polite. Fast service. Great, fresh tasting food. It wasnt just me either. I watched them serve each customer the same. Great work today Popeyes crew!! Yall should be proud!

Can this Location please make it make sense to me, why on a Tuesday mid-Day during regular business hours (clearly posted on the front doorsafter I physically was able to walk In to your restaurantAnd me then noticing well enough staff in the kitchen, including Manager who was counting cash drawer...WHY did the staff member quickly mumbled "mobileorderonly", then proceeded to leave from behind the counter, walked passed us and then rudely shook a Sign that he then said, "I forgot to put it outside" .Like WHY would any restaurant have the Door unlocked around 3:00pm (might I add )and then NOT be able to place my order to go ?It just seemed they were being lazy to not properly run their regular operations.Not everyone has a car & some people based off of convenience and distance to where they live would rather walk.Ive been at this location once before and chose to eat outside at there Patio picnic table.Honestly I wish there would be aCHURCHs CHICKEN In Reno where Ive had better service, Chicken, & honey biscuits instead.

We didn’t get one sauce at all for our 10 piece chicken strip mea instead we had to pay for every sauce cheapos can even get one sauce free…

First time visit...Walk in to order. Very clean and staff is courteous and attentive. Eager to help. Gave me samples to try.

This chicken was so good it made me wanna slap my momma 😂😆 lol jk but yes its goood

Food is always hot, only issue is i think they changed the mashed potatoes and gravy recipe it was my favorite now its nasty

Fresh biscuits were granted upon request.The Mac and Cheese needs to have a little more consistency. Last time we had it, it was absolutely delicious and cheesy, but when we went back it was a little on the runny side.

Food was fine but… no sauce with my order? No napkins? Also definitely not spicy, even though I asked.

There was a nasty long white hair in food. Manger was extremely rude and complained about giving me a refund.Extremely dirty inside guess I shouldn’t be surprise.

Gotta Love Popeyes.Theyre doing their best. Only online order for pickup or drive through. Very friendly and quick for being short staffed.

Like most fast food in the Reno/Sparks area, it was disgusting. I just don’t understand why you have to cook massive amounts of food for lunch and dinner rushes that never happen. Then we the few that do come to your restaurant, we get stuck with food that’s been sitting out for at least 20mins. Never have had a single food item fresh, just soggy room temperature chicken and fries. Staff is always nice and friendly, but that’s probably because they know. One of these days I’d like to see what all that fuss over their sandwiches was about.

Sides have decreased in size dramatically and now charging for extra sauces.Half the time they just leave the sauces out of the bag.

App has better deals. Just know they hand U ur order in a bag sealed. No real chance to check the order.Mine was wrong. I simply went online from the email receipt & informed them with in a few minutes i receoved & email reply.

The place was filthy. There was a line for bathroom congesting line for registers. They didnt give me utensils for macaroni and there not in a spot easy to find. They only gave me 4 pieces of shrimp with surf and turf order. At least, the staff were nice. They really need more of them.

Always seems to be a line here so they must be doing something right. Love the red beans and rice here. Ive been twice and still havent been able to try the strawberry cheesecake pie because it always seems to be sold out. Service is efficient and friendly,

Popeyes always has great food. We got a family meal. Just the thing while far away from home.

It appears that Joanne Rotta, a reviewer and we share the same feelings about this Popeyes restaurant. Both of us experienced poor service, incompetent staff and wrong orders.At any rate, on July 11th my girlfriend and I ordered food through the Popeyes drive through. We didnt check the order while there and when we got home the order was missing 1 item. People can make mistakes, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt.On July 13th, we returned to the same Popeyes and tried to place an order through the drive through. The person taking the order continuously got it wrong when reciting it back. She also recited "shrimp" in the order when we didnt ask for shrimp. Our order was slightly less in items (by onethan the July 11th order, BUT, it was $ 7.00 less.We decided to drive up to the window and place the order face to face. I asked to speak with a manager. The manager was a lady who was just as incompetent as the first person. She was also rude as heck. The order went from $ 7.00 less than the July 11th order TO about $ .75 less. When I told her about the July 11th order, she got even ruder, if that was possible. She then sent a young man no more than 21 years old to "protect" the staff, which I found comical. Anyway, when I asked her "are you sure that thats the price" she stated, "we dont want to serve you" and closed the window.I dont live in Reno, Nevada. This is what made it a shame since Id contact the franchise owner(sdirectly. This Popeyes location does NOT have dine in services. I think its because the staff is incompetent, rude and doesnt want any type of questioning about why theyre so incompetent. Avoid it all costs if you can.Why did the chicken cross the road? Because it didnt want to be killed, and served up as "shrimp" at this Popeyes location.

The blackened chicken fingers are out of this world and for you fellow WW friends, a five-piece serving is 3 points or 0!!!

Completely messed up my order. Absolutely disappointed.

I live in Reno Nevada, and none of the stores are as big as the one here. The store was immaculately clean, and the chicken thighs were bigger than any Ive ever purchased in the state of Nevada.Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen sold the best onion rings available anywhere, I dont know what happened but I certainly do wish they would be put back on their menus.

Always hot and crispy! Gotta love southern style chicken. Way better then kfc!

Definitely love the spicy chicken sandwich. It comes with 2 small pickles,but Ive asked to add extra and theyll add just one. 🤣

Chicken was very fresh but biscuits were old and no ice tea

I cant give it a zero but would if I could. Firs off this branch is NOTHING like other branches I have been to. I went through drive-through and placed my order and paid for it with no problems. This was approximately 7:15 pm. I proceeded to drive home (after having been moving all day). Get home and sit down to eat and realize that the 2 original chicken sandwiches and the surface and turf combo with coleslaw and a medium spritehad somehow mysteriously morphed into a 4 piece box of chicken with a small mashed potato with gravy and a medium uncarbonated sprite. I drove back and attempted to go in dining room ( apparently they were understaffed so badly they couldnt have it open even for issues such as mine). I was forced to go through the drive-through and wait behind approximately 10 cars. Upon arriving at the speakerbox I explained their error and they had me drive forward. They ASKED FOR THE 4 PCS OF CHICKEN BACK. Now in my understanding of food handling this is not something restaurants are allowed to do once the food has left the premises. Correct me if Im wrong. They then gave me a second sprite which was as nasty as the first one. I finally said Ill settle for a coke which was fine. By now its 8:30ish. They handed me the replacement food and I drove home... AGAIN. YES i checked the order. My wife and I sit down to finally eat. She opens her coleslaw and it was so spoiled I could smell it from like 3 feet away.....ruined my appetite. I am now livid. I drive back again only to find that again theres 10 or so cars in the drive-through. I get to the speaker and ask to speak to a manager. I get to the window and theres an 18 or 19 yr old who I KNOW is clearly the shift manager and not the store manager who by the way stood right behind this guy the whole time. He stated "Whats the problem?" I handed him the coleslaw and said open that and smell it and you tell me what the problem is. He stated he wasnt going to do that and only offered to replace it to which I said I didnt want a replacement but wanted a refund because this was my third trip to this location in the last 2 hrs and they not only couldnt get the order right but they were also serving spoiled food. (Why arent the food protocols followed)? He kept insisting he would only offer a replacement coleslaw. I began to curse him out ( I shouldnt have I get itThey threatened to call the cops and I told them to that I would wait for them and drove away and called corporate after I finished moving.

Grub hub delivered me the wrong persons order, but when I called the store the staff was extremely nice and helpful! Long story short, I had to reorder, but was extremely satisfied with my order once I realized they remade my order and it was hot when me and my family received it! This staff saved my Mothers Day since I didnt have to cook and it was super yummy! Thanks!

Unlike any Popeyes that Ive gone to Vegas this popeyes was pretty quick who was good the order was right they were courteous I was really surprised. I mean its a franchise but if you like popeyes chicken give this 1A try its well worth it.

We went to the drive thru for lunch today. Got home (Damonte Ranchand we got the wrong order. I called and spoke to Pamela, she was very apologetic. My husband went back to get our order, but the drive thru had a lot of cars in it. So he went to the door and she came out with our original order. So now everything is good. Food is good and Pamela deserves a pat on the back! Thank you!

The store was drive thru only. Sucks, since I walked. They could have kept the dining room open for takeout but instead they locked the doors. Ridiculous.

This was my first visit ever and I loved all the food we ordered! The chicken sandwich is my favorite. The red beans and rice were yummy. Thank you for the fast service.

Tasty chicken, but they forgot an order of fries, and cutlery for the coleslaw. Usually the order is just right.

You been to one you been to them all. They seem to take a little longer than I expected. Maybe because what I ordered 🤔. I wanted to eat in but I had to order and eat on the outside which wasnt all bad. Overall not bad.

My order was correct and hot. The staff is friendly and courteous. I love their new nuggets!

We went to Popeyes on Moana and the girl taking our order was very rude. She was a tall girl with black hair kinda young look around 18-20. Whoever made my sandwich didn’t put any pickles or ANYTHING on it besides sauce and I never got a fork for my Mac n cheese. I’m never going there again

Last night was the second time in a year that I ordered at this location in the drive thru. The last time I was here I ordered a spicy 16 piece tender box with all the fixings and got the regular tenders and the correct sides. Not such a big deal. This time it was a catastrophe. I ordered a 12 piece spicy bone in with red beans and rice and Mac and cheese sides, a 5 piece spicy tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a large side of Cole slaw. The only thing that was miraculously correct was the red beans and rice and Mac and cheese. The order that I was given wasnt even my order! The chicken was not spicy it was regular, not spicy, and I didnt get the tenders combo or the Cole slaw. I paid almost $50 for what I ordered and got the wrong order that was just over $30! Pitiful excuse for customer service. Its too bad that we get cravings for Popeyes once a year and this is the only Popeyes around us (AND its an hour from our home! because I will never be going to this Popeyes again. As a restaurant owner myself this is a poor excuse for customer satisfaction.

I love chicken, so I enjoy most chicken joints! This location has a tendency to run out of certain sides often, but they still deliver fresh, good, crispy, flavorful chicken consistently. The customer service has been pleasant as well.

I ordered food. My total came to $42. Something. We tried to pay with a $50 dollar bill. They would not accept it at all. I mean at ALL. Lucky we had other change to pay. I will not be going back.

"The whole world is understaffed so please be kind and patient."Theres always been a long line at the drive thru for this particular Popeyes, so Im sure this job is not easy. Still the employees are super friendly and the food quality is better than almost every other Popeyes Ive visited.

I would normally never give any fast food restaurant 4 stars- first off, its called "fast" for a reason. Nothing thats made fast deserves more than three. But heres the thing- any person that is helping you with, or giving you any kind of service no matter where they work, or what they do. Should be given the opportunity to earn a 5 star review.Because the bottom line is, if the service typically sucks, chances are you wont go back.So heres to the young man taking my order on a Monday night- he was patient (had no clue what we wanted), engaging (I had to choose sides, and he offered suggestions, and was encouraging when I had chosen!), Kind with some light-hearted banter. That 4th star is his- along with the chicken. We got the new chicken nuggets, and those are hands down THE BEST chicken nuggets ever! And I do not eat fast food but once in a blue moon. Good location, service & chicken!

This location is horrible. It aways a long wait all the time. Even you place online order but you cant go inside to pick it up. They locked the door so you still have to go to the drive thru that always a long line all the time. So I placed online order to avoid that. I guess not anymore. It is no point if you placed online order and still have to go to drive thru and still a long wait. No more for me on this location also so disappointed with the order that came with no hot sauce honey sauce, silver ware or napkins at all.

Chicken sandwich was pretty good. Chicken meat was nice. Fries were soggy. It says dine in but the dining room is closed. Wish these places would realize that the state has opened back up.

One thing consistent about this location: they never fail to disappoint! Whether they miss items or they dont put the lid on one of the sides so it ends up all over the other boxes, I have never been let down more times consistently in one location of ANY fast food restaurant, than I have at this Popeyes. Seriously, something is always wrong with my order.

Went here a couple months ago. Ordered in drive through because they were closed for inside dining. They gave us a large box of French fries instead of our chicken & sidesDidnt discover screw up till we got back to hotel. Went back to get the right order. Long line at drive through, doors are locked walked up to drive through window. They acted like it was a total inconvenience for them, even threatened us if we opened the box to check our order before leaving.Personally I will never patronize this location again!! If others choose to dine here ALWAYS check your order before leaving.The supposed manager has ZERO customer service skills.

Definitely the best chain chicken fast food.Yummy and spicy batter, biscuits, sweet tea, whats not to like?Glad to see some fish options coming back. For those that dont eat chicken or want something different this is a welcome change.

Updating my 5 star review because of my experience today. Have been to this location several times via drive thru and am always pleased. However, today we ran inside bc of the long drive thru. EVERYONE was nice and happy except the shift manager, Manuel who happened to be serving us. His attitude and lack of customer service on top of the 20 minute wait “for fresh fries” that were room temperature and limited to say the least. No that picture wasn’t taken after I ate a few.. it was as soon as I checked the box when I got to my car🙃

Hardly anyone is wearing hairnets and no gloves behind the counter. Plus the chicken looks over cooked or old. Plus I have been waiting 10 minutes for a chicken sandwich 🥪 that still isn’t ready. Finally got my sandwich 15 minutes later for a barely lukewarm sandwich that is my second sandwich (because my first one was cold)🥪 stay away from here.

One of the few places I go and order the same thing over and over because its so good. My first visit i had chicken tenders and a side. It was so good why try anything else.

My experience was really lackluster. The teenage cashier was pleasant enough, but had dirty fingernails. He also was apathetic regarding the product he is there to push. He was not really listening when I asked if the spicy was "SPICY."I feel the chicken was over-priced and underwhelming. It was very greasy and was predominately all breading and skin...felt like I had a furball in my throat as I choked down a few bites. My biscuit was cold. The cole slaw very small serving, but tasted ok.. The worst part was the extremely loud cajun music🎶--- I will probably not return. I love the commercials for Popeyes, and that is what really provoked my visit. Pretty disappointing. (It didnt help that a small boy was filming me with an IPAD as I was picking at my meal. His parents were allowing this- he was turned all the way around in the booth.Parents were ignoring him and wolfing down their food. Lol

I decided to go here because my sister-in-law was craving it..... I will never go back though. The lady at the front was rude and when I asked questions she glared at me and said "no we cant do that" and "are you done?" After my food was thrown in the bag and it cracked the lid of my potatoes causing it to get over my car. I asked for some extra honey for the biscuits and they gave me only two but a ton of hot sauce. They did not make my experience enjoyable so this is the last time I ever stop by.
