Damn good food. Always a long line in the drive thru but worth the wait every time. Their sweet tea tastes like it was made in small batches by a southern grandma. And the biscuits? Perfection.
I DO love that chicken from Popeyes. However, it is often a mixed bag as to what kind of experience I will have there. The store is clean, but this summer the dining room has been so hot, I cant eat there. In fact, the last time I went, my son and I just sat in the truck in the parking lot to eat lunch and stay out of the heat. I dont blame them specifically for this, lots of restaurants in Wichita have been uncomfortably warm this summer...and with the threats of blackouts, kinda understandable I guess.The other iffy thing is service. There again, everyone seems to be short staffed, and the employees can only do so much at any given time. However, friendliness is something I dont give excuses for. Even on my worst days, I treated my customers with the gratitude they deserved for providing me with a job. Whatever may have been going in my own life was not their problem. How I felt about my job was...NOT their problem, I always had the option to quit and find something different if I was unsatisfied. Too often, the people working fast food do not understand (or carethis reality. Popeyes is no exception, nor the only one to suffer this mentality. I have had great to rude service from Popeyes as well as other fast food joints. Chick-fil-A seems to be one of the few exceptions and always seems to have plenty of friendly staff all the time.
If I could give a 0 I would..Waited forever and I ordered the 11.99..feed 2 meal...thought the person would never come on speaker ..asked for spicy and regular chicken to be separated..and ordered dirty rice and Mac and cheese for sides .when we FINALLY got to window ..girl didnt know which was our order..when we left..chicken was mixed up..no dirty rice and they overcharged us.. common sense says you wont stay in business much longer with this kind of service!!!

Somehow this restaurant managed to make a low quality fried chicken in comparison to other Popeyes restaurants the breading was still uncooked on the inside. Customer service is not the worse but it is not good. Ill be only visiting the Popeyes on base wich is higher quality and customer service is about the same.
Well, if you can actually get food it is usually pretty good. The service here is legendary. Its an adventure every trip. I would just say treat the employees with respect and hope for the best. If not- NO CHICKEN FOR YOU!UPDATE TO REVIEW: Quite honestly this place needs to be shut down. Their AC has been broken and the owner/franchisee refuses to fix it. If he/she wont fix the AC, imagine what other corners are being cut with food quality/safety. Really kinda feel bad for the employees. Horrible place to go into. SHUT IT DOWN.
Chicken is always tasty! Very busy place nearly all the time. Long line and wait, but worth it!
Long wait followed by being ignored at the window for 5 minutes. We drove away without ever being helped. I wont be back.
Food was fresh and hot they were insanely busy with only a few workers it looked like,and the cook was working his tail off even delivering orders to cars waiting,he made good chicken hot and fresh and the sides were great too,my red beans and rice could have been filler in the container but its because it was so good I wanted more lol that is my only complaint.
The food didnt disappoint but considering the fact that their AC wasnt working it made dining in not very pleasant. I actually felt for people in the hot kitchen only using fans to cool off.
I am an Uber driver and I was picking up an order for a customer there.
I love Popeyes, but every time I eat at this location the food just isnt quite right. This most recent time the chicken texture seemed like it was slightly undercooked, and the sandwich had way too much mayo in it. The fries tasted like theyd been sitting for hours. Was very disappointed.
There seem to be massive confusion when we pulled up to the menu, the person in front of us pulled away and the lady at the counter was still asking her questions about her order. After informing the young lady that the car was pulling up, it took her another 10 minutes to get back to us. After placing the order and confirming the order we pulled up, this was during Lunch hour and the young lady asked if we had the exact change because she was low on one dollar bills again poor management there should always be cash in the cash register and if not someone should be running to the Bank before the mad rush. When someone says they dont have money but would like you to use your credit card that a red flag for me. Once we received the order she gave us our meal with the drinks had to ask for them. Just bad feeling all the way around
Food and service were generally good when I visited. I was an out of town visitor, so not sure if they were just having an HVAC issue on the day we were there, but the dining room was sweltering hot, even in the early evening hours.
I ordered one thing and got to my destination and it wasnt what I ordered but it was good. I refused to drive way back across town

Food was hot and fresh, but only offers fried food. Anything order as "cajun" was not spicy, just seemed like "seasoned" and was very mild.
Came to visit Wichita from Oklahoma, stopped at Popeyes and made a big order. We specifically asked for fresh chicken and told the staff we would wait however long. Got the meal and the chicken was old and dry, didnt get all the sides or all of the peices of chicken that we ordered. The lady in the window straight lied to us about the chicken. We asked several times if it was fresh. I called and let a manager know, she took my information and never had the owner or head manager call or email me. Awful experience and I do not recommend!!!
I think in all my years going to Popeyes, (at least 10Ive had only one bad experience. And this is the store that knows how to deliver 1 to 2 star service on a consistent basis. The attitude here is appalling and the food is almost always stale. And to top it off, they dont even put the right food in the bag if you order for more than one person. Skip it.
Very rude and disrespectful I’ll never eat there again they need to be shut down
The chicken is good and the apple pies are awesome. I really like their butterfly shrimp (when I can get it); they sell out fast. My only gripe are they never have mac & cheese at this location and they dont let you customize mixed chicken in family meals. We prefer dark over white meat and when they mix in white meat, it just goes to waste since none of us eat it.
This was my first order using the online ordering process. My order was ready when I pulled through the drive thru AND it was ACCURATE. Great job Popeyes, keep up the great work!
Stopped in here to grab a classic chicken sandwich and it was amazing. This was my 1st time ordering one if these sandwiches and it did not disappoint. I loved it and will be back soon.
The food isnt the same, I do understand they probably have new cooks. I went to the counter to the cashier know my chicken was cold and she replace the chicken, the french fries were hot cause they just came up.
Great food, decent service. They appeared to be short handed, but still had the food out in a decent amount of time. It could have been a little cleaner.

Ordered using app and pick up thru drive thru. Order was not completed and had to wait nearly 10 minutes in drive thru for order that was made 25 minutes prior to arrival. Would try one more time hoping for better results
Didnt get what I ordered. O I think because the lady working the window was moved by a man Im guessing to be the.manager and hes the one the screwed.it up. The food was good just wish it was correct.
I try to go back to a place..that I didnt like to be sure if it was me or the food..and with this place its the food..red bean & rice was bean sauce & rice..and for the price one would think that they would do a better job..the tender was alright..nothing to brag about..but the chicken is still cook too long and within 30 minutes is hard..and this was at noon...they need to do better...I EXPECTED MORE !!!!
The reason I only went 4 stars is the because of the size of the legs, they are so small! And they took the dirty rice off the menu! Otherwise its still good old Popeyes!!
Good, great food, but lines, never get my order right, they need new manager, people drive off alot, they lose alot of business, alot!!!! They cant keep help either, new people all the time.
Pulled into server thru. They said hang on a second.. Ended up being 11 minutes. Pulled on around..I was being very patient. They a all just looked at me and after 3 minutes she finally came to window and said can I help you.. Im still patient..I said yall left me hanging at drive thru and get here and had me waiting for 3 minutes and all you can say is can I help you.. Where is the good customer service.. Should have been, welcome to Popeyes so sorry for the wait, may I take your so l order... Nope... Im still patient and smiling. She said we are so busy with door dash.... What.. No Im a customer... Whatever..Gave her my order asked for mashed potatoes and coleslaw... They dont serve mac and cheese or Cajun rice its been discontinued.... Well that blew it, anyway. Also paid for a blackberry cheesecake pie.. Paid and went on my way.. get outside of Wichita falls and looked in bag. Only coleslaw, no mashed potatoes or pie. Omg...I posted and waited and didnt get my complete order..oh I wont be going back... Used to be my favorite chicken place... But I guess door dash is more important and its not Popeyes without the Cajun rice!!
Its Popeyes so you should know what youre getting food-wise (pretty good chicken with a Cajun spin). What makes this store stand out is the service. Even during times when everyone is short-staffed, these guys were super friendly and very quick. Props to whomever is training/hiring.
Always looked forward to going Popeyes and love the meals. Tonight was the worst customer experience and the food was extremely poor. Felt like the employees were annoyed that we had even ordered, much more when we ask for honey to go with our biscuits. We will not be back
DO NOT order for pickup and expect to just pick it up. They want you to use the drive thru for pickup which we all know takes forever. And then, they don’t even have your food ready, you’ll still have to wait on tenders even if you ordered 20-30 minutes prior. Ordering ahead is a complete waste of time, you’ll be waiting longer than if you just use the drive thru. The food is always good, and everyone knows Popeyes is slow, but ordering for pickup is ordering for pickup, and there’s no excuse for it. And they try to rush you out without the sauces you ordered as if they can’t be bothered to check the ticket, I hate how poor customer service is getting everywhere, but this is just the latest example of paying for it whether you’re satisfied with the food/service or not.
Went to Popeyes for dinner last night, waited while "manager" was wiping down countertop before young man came from back to take our order. Waited another 20+ minutes while drive thru was getting their orders really fast. We then gave up on getting our order and asked for our money back. The "manager" was rude and lazy when it came to service. We will not go to this establishment again.
We pulled up to the drive thru and they said to hold on and we waited for 15 minutes and still nothing. So we reversed then pulled back up and they again said to hold up. We left idk why they had us waiting for that long. I seen at least 3 vehicles pull off.
Location was short-staffed but everything came out as soon as I reached the drive thru window. All my order was correct and the food was still hot! Great service, hope they get more employees
Ordered food with the mobile app at 1137. Food was supposed to be done at 1155. Drove there and they hadnt even started cooking it yet. They told us to pull forward. After waiting for 20 min, went inside and still didnt have our food ready. I received my order at 1232. Unless you have nothing to do avoid this popeyes location. Absolutely the worst service at any fast food restaurant I have ever had. 10/10 do not recommend. This location needs some major changes.
The last time i was there they missed a few things in my order. And i do feel for them since they are under staff.This time i went was great. They were nice, they were working hard and made sure i was satisfied with the order and i thank them for that, especially since they are under staffed still
Stop in the driv-thru to get some grub for the family. I love Popeyes but i havent eaten here in a long time. It was really good, slightly high but still good none -the-less. I always forget to order the chicken sandwich, which ive still never had but someday Ill remember. Great food stop by and enjoy some.
After we ordered at the drive thru ( we ordered a 16 piece family dinner with the a side of French fries, red beans and rice and coleslaw, and a chicken stripdinner and a spritewe paid waited for the food. We we received the food my husband ask if everything was in it. He replied yes, but we pulled away and thankfully I checked this time because sure enough our sides were missing. We had to go back in line and wait until we could tell them they did not put the sides in it and waited to get them.
The chicken was great the shrimp was good and the staff is awesome, the last time I was there they forgot to give me my two biscuits and one of the management staff Marissa never questioned it she just replaced it. I thank her for that I thank them for making up your order when someone miss giving you what you ordered. I love Popeyes I love the staff again Marissa and Pearl theyre awesome management staff the other black lady shes awesome as well but I cant think of her name shes in management again thank you God bless.
Im a door dasher and in all the time that I have been a Dasher, this is the hands down worst place to pick up food, the wait is way!! To long and the person taking our order was very rude, we couldnt hear her very well cause there microphone was bad, so they started talking with attitude and rasing there voice way to loud, and there lobby was closed so the drive thru was they only way to get food, on top of all this there was two guys putting a new window on the drive thru during there "Rush".After we finally got to the window. They forgot the drink, we kept waiting for that as we also saw employees on there phone. I overall review is that this place needs better employees and some kind of management to keep an eye on them instructing protocol.
The wait time was outrageous... I think they needed a few more crewmembers to handle the demand of the customers. I did go during peak hours but having to wait 30 minutes just to order is a bit much when there wasnt many customers before me. On top of the 30 minute wait prior to ordering I had an additional 25 minute wait to get my food. It was a small order to feed 4 and the food was flavorful as always.I will go back because the food was really good and the staff was still cheerful even though they were extremely busy. I didnt feel rushed or like the staff was "over it" for the day so all in all they did well but the wait time dropped the stars for me.
This store needs a entire new crew. They never get your order right. Very very slow service. I will not be back. I have put up with so many mixed up orders and missing items I paid for. I love the food when you receive your correct items. Wichita Falls deserves a better Popeyes experience than what we have received for so many years.I hope this feedback gets to someone that can come in and clean this place up.Thank you for your time and help.
The food is pretty good but the man taking our order wasnt, he was rude. Also the soda machine was broke and leaking.
