This beautiful tourist attraction clearly needs some renovation. Still it is an ideal place if you are interested in learning why Belo Horizonte got this name. The view from Praça do Papa is breathtaking.

Its a beautiful view. Great spot for some scenic photos. There are a few food carts. Other than that there isnt much too it.

A nice place to go and read or relax in BH. Remember to take a blanket so you don’t have to sit on the ground. You can watch the sunset, take your dog with you to grab some fresh air, go for a walk, ride your bike; etc. There are vendors selling varied snack options! Great place.

One of the best place in BH, more than Pampulhas lake. Great neighborhood and the showing of Bh is one of the best.

Excellent view of Belo Horizonte! Very calm, good for meditation if you practice that. And how do I forgot to mention the marvelous view of Serra do Curral? If you walk toward the Serras directions and turn to your right you will reach the Park of Serra do Curral where you can have an impressive and exciting view of Belo Horizonte and Nova Lima

The view is amazing, there are good places to stay and enjoy the square with friends or to rest. But it is way too much dirty, there are garbage almost every where

A great view of the city! A nice place to walk the dog. The temperature is on average 4 degrees lower than the city center.

One of my favorite places for getting a fast urban scape. Great view of Belo Horizonte and Serra do Currals natural barrier that surronds the city. I prefer coming in the golden hour before the sunset. Bring some money to grab a sweet popcorn (topped with grated coconut and condensad milkand friends to chill out.

Grass was a little too tall. There was too much garbage from after the new years party. Also a fair share of depredation.

I recommend this place in the beginning of the evening to see the sun goes down in the city of Belo Horizonte, and the lights start coming up

Nice views but the park is not well maintained. You can also visit a couple of national parks nearby.

Ok place to visit. Unfortunately it is a bit run down and with trash in the grass and broken bottles.Unfortunate for a place with significant modern history with the passing of pope John Paul II which where the name "Pope Square" originates.

The perfect place for a city view . Also good for pictures and books. Lots of people go there to smoke weed and walk with the dogs. Theres room for skating, biking, running, and everything else. Theres two parks nearby and lots of lookout places.
