Popa Paradise Beach Resort - in Bocas del Toro, Panama
Absolutely perfect. The only thing better than the property is the hospitality
Quality is low- Service inefficient & S-L-O-W !!! All very basic & laidback - Too expensive for the tourist to come so far & revenue so poor .. Half of the kayaks didn’t float - Pool was the only well kept installation - towels & sheets were stinky - food was not as expected for the value - very disappointing resort & not prepared local staff that make the stay unpleasant - won’t recommend this place at all -
We had an amazing honeymoon here! Just our speed. Not crowded, personalized attention, great food, excellent service and the perfect mix of fun, beauty and privacy. ♥️

The resort is fantastic: a full immersion in the jungle! The "casitas" are very confortable, and the view on the ocean is great. The pool on the top of the hill is very nice and presents a fully equipped bar. the all inclusive accomodation is definetely all inclusive. The chefs are very good "five stars" and you can ask them to prepare everything you like . The italian managers are "perfect" as well as all the staff. The only limitation was the sea water rather cloudy in the sea front . But by boat, a little bit too expensive, you can rich fantastic sites!
The resort is fantastic, the beaches are great and private and the pool is great also. All is really included, From shakes by the pool to kayaks and movies for the room. The chefs are very good and open to make you what you like . The managers Daniele and Helena are soooo nice! All the staff is really nice and will make everything to make you happy.
This must be the filthiest hotel in Panama. A run-down resort off the main island, Popa Paradise has seen better days. The room was broken-down, with stained sheets, a broken TV, and cracks in the walls that let the bugs in. The kitchen was disgusting — all of the glasses and plates were dirty, and nothing was ever wiped up. I never should have trusted TripAdvisor. This place is horrible. Do not waste your money. You would have to pay me to return to this dump.Do not stay at this hotel, it is a scam. It is a broken down mess, and there is always new managers because the owners are absent and they just hire and fire seasonal help. Everyone in Bocas Town knows this place is a joke, its too bad we paid via PayPal and cant get our money back. This place should be shut down by the board of health for gross negligence.

Popa Paradise Beach Resort is Not a scam, but a resort that went through a transition. The resort did undergo new management and like any company, it can take a bit to get things going. It is especially difficult when the resort is on a remote island only accessible by boat. Popa Paradise is the only establishment on Isla Popa and provides jobs for the 300 plus locals living in the island. Like the nice ladies that made us a Towel Swan every morning, the Fishing Guide who provided our Wahoo Dinner, the artisans who I can thank for the Coconut Oil Soaps and yummy Hot Sauce at Dinner! Or even a couple traveling through Central America, like Amber and Matt, who we met during our stay. During our stay at Popa Paradise, we also met a young couple living in Bocas, who had a beautiful wedding at the Resort this year! The resort is beautiful, especially for an off the beaten path wedding, that even the local couples marry there. I cannot wait to go back!!!
