August 11/2022 9pmWaitress was polite and apologized.She explained service was behind 40+mins all day. Finally we had her pack up our stuff took it home never ate at restaurant. Came home and Salad was so bad I ended up sick to my stomach. Sad really used to be a great place to go now not.

For those aware, the vibe here is Taphouse/Bar with amazing drinks and food, just be aware as a side note for those looking for House of Poutine, this is a ghost kitchen within this location that offers really amazing poutines!

This is can be good place for karaoke on weekends, dependant on how many singers there are. If there are a lot, it kinda sucks, but thats because I like to sing.

A Shout-Out to Teresa! 🥳I called earlier in the afternoon to place a pick up order which my co-worker picked up. When I got my meal, it was missing an item. I called right away and Teresa responded that she would give me a refund on my missing item. When I returned to Pops after work, Teresa had refunded my whole lunch, not just the missing item!I will definitely be back for Foodie Friday lunch and will refer Pops to my friends and family.

Last night was here for open mic🎤 🎙 singers were amazing,.had one of the best burgers 🍔 what blew me away was my amazing burger topped with a deep fried pickle. I even told.my mom how good the food was. Repeat customer here.👍🍔👍🍔

Kim and the staff have always been great to work with. We really appreciate their hospitality when we visit. The food is excellent and the atmosphere welcoming.

Disappointing portion for the poutine at $10. Please see photo and ask yourself if you would call this a poutine , I didnt think so. This thing should be smothered in cheese and gravy when it leaves the restaurant, we didnt order a DIY kit (gravy was provided on the side). Also, what is that, a tsp. of cheese?

I have been going there frequently after work to relax have a beer and play the VLT’s. In rare occasions I get served by Teresa who is the ONLY only waitress that has ever come to the back where the VLT‘s are to serve customers!!!! I tip very well especially to the bartenders who serve me. I have requested numerous times over and over if we could get some service in the back corner and the answer is always negative feedback. I’ve been meaning to address this issue with the manager/owner (Suefor some time - back in the days before Covid-19 hit Alberta but it’s unfortunately a hit and miss situation.

Great food, friendly staff. First time stopping in for a drink and really enjoyed ourselves. Good sports bar with a lot of TVS

I think they have some good items on the menu but the fish and chips are terrible. They double batter it so all you get is some over-greased fried batter that is mostly hollow with some mediocre fish on one end of it. On top of this the mayo I got had a odd texture similar to when mayo has been left in the open for an extended period of time. Please work on this !

Kitchen rocks. Most wait staff are awesome. Caesars delicious. I will be sure to avoid sitting in a section with THAT waitress again.

The best place for wings in Lethbridge. They have so many flavours and will do something special for you if you ask nicely. An amazing little known fact is that you can get any number of wings past 10. So for example unlike other places were you have to get 20! or 30! at pops you can get 11, 15, 16, 25 or what ever number your heart desires! ♡ You only have to buy one drink and then you can get as many wings as you like. Unlike other places we have to buy a drink for every 10 wings!!

Pops South is one of my favourite places. Not just because its within walking distance of our house, but the food is great and we love their karaoke every weekend.

The food is incredible. Im not so sold on the service and the decor is ok. The food is worth it

This place routinely is terrible. In 3 trips there my waitress has spilled my drink on me twice. Beought me meals with hairs in it. Taken over 40 minutes to bring menus for our table and burned my wife with plates that were so hot they kust have been in a oven for the whole cooking time. I will never bring anyone bavk there and will advise that no one i know go there.

We had a great night here! The specials are great but dont expect it to be busy unless theres a big game on. The beer is good and sos the food!

I normally go during the week. Tonight I experienced why I will never frequent this place again on a Friday. I like to play VLTs and I am used to seeing a wide variety of patrons. There was a man tonight who used every possible profanity in the book. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he had some mental issues. The staff that was present clearly had no training on how to deal with this type of individual. No fault to them. I will not EVER visit this place on a weekend.

This is a friendly and comfortable pub and grill restaurant. The steak sandwich was exactly what we expected. The beef dip was really a modified cheese steak sandwich - had a bit too much melted cheese for our taste. The daily soup was very good, and not too salty. The service was efficient. We had a problem with one dish, and it was handled totally to our satisfaction. This is a great place for a meal and "time away" from either the Chinook Regional Hospital or St. Michaes Extended Care.

Great wings, regular fries, & waffle fries! I think it is one of the best places for wings in Lethbridge. It is also clean. The service is a hit and miss though, but this time we had a very sweet waitess who had just started. She did an amazing job!

Great food, but mediocre service. Waitress kept touching my shoulder from behind my field of view to get my attention, pushed us to order faster when the pub was nearly empty, and she often only let part of the table order before leaving. She told us someone else would help us after her shift ended, but no one else paid us any mind.

Food was decent. Service was horrible. Took 10 minutes to get a new drink and by that time i was already done and ready to leave. Very unsatisified of my experience and i will not be returning.

Went in last night pretty close to the closing time for food. Noticed typically when going near close most places the food is rather lacking didnt have a big expectation. From Calgary big fan of Calgary locations, Lethbridge south is our new favorite. Food was delicious, looked amazing. Place was fairly packed but came in great time. My family and I will be there every Lethbridge trip. The service was lacking but our burgers made up for it. AMAZING! You will be seeing my wifes and mine smiling faces when were down and made some new regulars with my Lethbridge family. Calgary needs some Lethbridge TIPS.

Had the kick as burger and waffle cut fries - it was great! Nice and spicy! Usually people are too scared to add much flavour into their food. To go along with it, I had the Coulee Brew Co. Bears Hump Nut Brown Ale, brewed in lethbridge - delicious!Friendly inviting staff and patrons.Ill be back for sure.

January 13, 2018Started off there with 6 people at 7pm there were 2 other small tables. Took about 20mins to get a drink order and another 10 on top of that to get menus. Ordered appetizers and a meal, got appetizers and they tasted great but we waited and waited for the meal and server never came to our table to check drinks or ask about the food. Even though she kept checking a table right beside ours. 45min after food order Got her attention and asked about the meal and she never rang it in. Asked for the bills and we did not get them for another 10mins. After the bills were paid, The server came back and asked why none of us tipped her, we said because there was horrible service. Then she started to say that we should’ve booked a table for 6 people when there was no one else in the pub and to expect slow service on busy days. Yet there were only two tables when we got there. She complained to her manager where we could see her. She was defensive and rude when we told her why we didn’t like her service. Second time in my life I have not tipped.

Food was good but service was horrible. It was not busy yet incredibly slow. I blame the server 100%. The bar tender and a different waitress gave us out food because our actual server was not around. Part of our order was completely forgotten. Drinks were rarely checked. When we didn’t tip, she inquired why. We told her the truth and she was defensive and rude. I will still go but if this waitress is working I will actively avoid sitting in her area.

Great place for lunch. Nice pub located in the heart of the south side of town. Has a few VLTs and a full bar. Staff is friendly and ready to help. Food was good pub style food and pricing was fair.

Wings were great. Service was horrible. Even when people left and the pub was slower it was like trying to get a horse to drink water, to get any service. I had to order my drinks 2 at time. Same with wings. I was there at 6 and 710 i still had not recieved my wings( got first order shortly after 710). I thought well theyre busy its fine. Ordered a second basket of wings it was 845 and still no wimgs i asked for it to be taken off bill as everyone was paying and leaving. The waitress said can i go check on them i said i guess but im not waiting any longer.waitress came out with wings at that time.Would like to try their other food but with the service the way it was I wont make an effort to go out of my way to try. When we asked for our bills we waited 15-20 mins and she came by and asked if we wanted our bills... yes we asked for them awhile ago. My friend had to go to the bar to pay his. Not sure what was with the lack of service, but if that was fixed this place would be amazing!

Could have possibly been an off night but the wings were absolutely horrid. They actually tasted rotten. Again, could have been an off night. The beer was great; kind of hard to mess beer up.

Fantastic choice of wings; Honey Hot & Dill Pickle being the flavors of choice. Wings are crispy, and the flavor options are all delicious. Good atmosphere. Great servers.

Service is friendly and greeted us fast. Nice place, could be a bit brighter but its a pup so you expect some darkness. My first time here, pretty pleased. Will visit again for sure.

Service was great, our server always remembered little things that made the visit special and there were several of us. The atmosphere is pretty good for a sports bar and it wasnt even that loud.

We went for lunch, I had the all day breakfast and my husband had the club sandwich.My entire meal tasted like it had been reheated, the eggs were not edible, the bacon tasted past date and the sausage had an odd taste to it... the worst part were the hashbrowns, they were so overcooked, they didnt even resemble hashbrowns!!! The club sandwich was less than great...Very disappointing!!! Will not eat there again for quite some time!!!

They have daily specials that are consistent every week such as tacos and perogies. They have 4 VLT machines if thats what you are into. Large dining area for groups to drink and chat. Prices are about average compared to other bars in my experience.

Great location, close to my new home. :Atmosphere was good, it could, however, play more rock music, a lot of slow, deep music like Coldplay - scientist for eg. was playing at around 11p at night. Kinda puts you to sleep. Boneless pork ribs were delicious, tried the spinach dip, but wont order it again, very watery and hard to eat. There caesar cocktails were delicious. : Otherwise I plan to go back again and try something else off the menu.
