Mosteiros is a beautiful city and we had one of the best sunsets there. In september can be windy and fresh in the evening but stil sunny.

Incredible views. Just a few steps from the parking area you can see the waves crash right next to you. Great sunset location as well.

This area of water front is the best example of the volcanic landscape you will find on the island thats easily accessible. Walk down over basalt rocks to the crashing wave. Be careful

Lovely little village to visit there are restaurants in the village and a couple of snack bars by beach. If you go in the sea be careful as tide can pull on legs when it rolls back.

Fantastic place to just relax and listen to the ocean. Another place with picnic areas for grilling your own delicacies and watching the waves colliding endlessly with the volcanic rock lined shore

The sea is deep blue, very beautiful! With the volcanic rocks surrounding the area, this place totally worths the visit!We went there on October, a month with few tourists, quite calm.The town has only one bakery (with a very strict opening hours during Autumn and Winterand one supermarket (that also sells bread). It is also possible to buy fresh bread to a hawker that passes from time to time.It is also possible to have lunch in the town, as well as to take a cafe. The town small center offers some possibilities.

Spent the afternoon in Mosteiros to catch the sunset. Great swimming! Grabbed take out from a local spot on the Main Street, and ate by the ocean. Definitely worth the visit!

Relaxing place to spend sometime overlooking the crashing ocean waves. Roofed tables and benches provide an enjoyable area to have a few snacks or even a proper lunch, with respite from the sun or inclement weather.

MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE ON THE ISLAND. I went on a gorgeous sunny day, which may have contributed to my experience because the water was a beautiful bright blue. Just watching the waves crash on the black basalt volcanic rock was an experience unto itself. I didn’t go to the swimming area or eat any food, just took in the sights and it was still among my favorite experiences of the whole trip. This was an unexpected treat. You MUST go here.
