Delicious Sunday roast, varied menu and lovely views of the polo field

Went for a bike meet ,poor service, even worse food ,rip off ,out side chairs all broke an ripped not what I was expecting at all ,will not be hurry to go there anytime again

Went for the excellent wheels night Motogymkhana event every second Wednesday .lots of cool cars and bikes and Motogymkhana . BBQ food available on bike nights and a good drinks selection . Great staff and an amazing venue . Go and check it out.

Stopped by for lunch... me and my mrs and 4 kids..we got the impression from miserable bar maid that we wasnt that welcome and taking our order was a effort..coffee came out half full and only warm had to ask for milk... food took ages and the place was empty? Your loss as we will go elsewhere next time and be welcomed for our business

Lovely pub in which to catch up with friends after doing the Dallas Burston Polo Club parkrun. Cosy indoors with fires and comfy chairs in the winter and a gorgeous outside seating area in the summer with views over the polo fields.Bacon bap highly recommended! 🥓🥓🥓🥓

Visiting Dallas Burston with a motoring event. Popped into the pub for a pint - great service from the small team behind the bar. Decent pint of Cotswold IPA and a Cotswold G & T.

Really nice friendly bar, reasonable menu. Not easy to find with the satnav but unexpected delight to watch some horse show jumping while we were there. Definitely recommend and will return.

Food was nice. Very welcoming. Sadly, it was very quiet and we had 3 children with us so we felt a bit out of place. Nothing anyone could have done about it but it just lacked atmosphere for Saturday night.

Part of Dallas Burston Polo Club, this newly build country pub is lovely, with or with the polo on. They have front and rear terraces to sit out on or in the winter they have cost fires.They serve food each day too which is a short but varied menu. And they have a good list of wines, beers and champagnes.Staff are friendly and the whole place is immaculate.Finally they do a free taxi service within 5 miles.Highly recommend!

Sunday lunch at The Millstone Hare...what a treat! If I thought Id come across a great place for tasty roast beef, with all the trimmings matching its fab flavour, then I regressed to a kid at Christmas when the tarte tatin was put in front of me. Those apples in that caramel, sitting on great, light pastry - amazing. Be warned...its a sharing dessert for two but after the first mouthful, giving up half is going be tough!! Lovely food and staff to match.

Very disappointing my son took me there with my daughter-in-law & grandaughter we waited about 30mins for our meal once ordered. My chicken supreme came out and I had to return to the kitchen as it was not hot, they brought the same meal back to me and said it had been put back in oven. My daughter-in-laws rissoto was so salty she was unable to eat it all so not a happy or acceptable visit.

I am reviewing the function room at Millstone hare, unfortunately I needed a room for for my Mums wake. Knew I wanted this as soon as we were shown round. Impressed with location, decor. Private area, bar etc. From the moment we dealt with Jo, until after the event, we were so impressed with everything. We were treated with upmost respect, any requests we made were honoured without any bother. If you need a function room, I highly recommend.

12 of us went there last night for our annual tennis club get together. Never having heard of it before, I didn’t have any great expectations, but I was very pleasantly impressed as soon as we arrived. It is a lovely setting and a warm, welcoming building, with plenty of oak and soft brickwork.The staff were very pleasant, helpful and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Although we had a variety of different meals between us, everyone was impressed with the quality of the food and the service. We will almost certainly return there as a group and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Millstone Hare to others. I look forward to seeing it in daylight, it must be lovely on a summer’s evening.

Its a lovely walk to get to this place from where we live, we were greeted by very friendly staff who didnt mind muddy boots (although we did take them offthe weather was cold so we sad inside but it has a large patio area outside which looks like a great spot in the summer to chill out with a few drinks watching the polo. They had a good selection of drinks and a large menu and a good kids menu also. The food was good, well presented and we enjoyed sitting around the bar area in the warmth and were well looked after by the bar staff. This place will definitely be a stop off for food and refreshments when we are out walking again.

Nice setting and staff was decent, but service was a tad slow and particularly for the main courses for our table of 8. Food tasted alright, portion sizes were smaller than expected

Restaurant temperature very cold, most of the customers kept their coats on, food (roast beef & burgerserved less than lukewarm. Not recommended.

Very nice upscale pub set in the grounds of the polo fields. Reasonably priced bar and very good food. Even have a shuttle service for the surrounding villages. Went for a birthday party meal, service and food was excellent.

Have been here numerous occasions. Great food and lovely atmosphere with a perfect location. Highly recommended.
