One of the best places for authentic Polish food. Calves liver and onions today, Polish platter, side of potato pancakes and Czernina soup!

Lunch time. Bit busy, waited for our waitress for a few mins but we knew what we wanted. I would wait an hour for that fish fry its so darn good. My parents come here alot and have never had a bad meal!

Was just ok, was expecting more, nothing like the one that was on Harlem, only real complaint is when asked for more gravy was told ok and never came back....

Good place for comfort food. Sunday specials are really worth it. Servers are very friendly.

Food was very good very reasonable prices especially in todays day and age of high prices and poor service and very little food for your money. Polish Villa does not disappoint large portions very good quality food. Service was a little slow but only 2 waitresses and place is always crowded.due to the great food and very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very casual relaxed. Staff friendly but very busy. Parking is adequate with plenty of parking spaces. This is a nice local favorite that I highly recommend

Was sunny day.Restaurant walls were filled with old pictures of Polish random cites ... make you feel like in a good thrift shop.The creepy mannequin in the corner brought the memories of an old homeless lady from a Warsaw Central Train Station.Polish Eagle outside was impressive!!!Scales on the walls were a little confusing... are they recommending to Mermaid from Warsaw, or Wawel Dragon in Krakow ?!Solid Pine Tree doors to the bathroom were like a cherry topping on the cake!Decor - 5 stars - remind you on a communist Poland.Service - strong 2 stars- food came 55 minutes after we ordered.In other reviews you can read - they are SHORT IN STUFF. That didnt change since last year post.Food. VERY, VERY STRONG ONE OUT OF 5 STARBread was delicious. Wonder where they bought it from.

I ordered out polish food for the first time in years seeing my family is 100% polish and usually make our own. But I was craving a small polish fest so I ordered one from polish villa remembering it was good, authentic, and fairly priced. Knowing how tedious and lengthy the process it is to make glumpki and pierogi I was ok on the price. That was until I got home to open my food and found a sad tiny piece of dilapidated fresh polish sausage, and a half full soup cup. Talk about medium sized glumpki at best for $9 each. If your gonna charge this much I expected full portions. That was the first disappointing encounter. After starting to eat it I can’t help but think how basic and underwhelming the flavors are. I was so excited for my authentic Polish dinner for $35 and I wish I Just didn’t. They need a babcia to help them get back to good food again. Was so happy ordering and then so dissatisfied I barely got halfway through it where I just Decided to made some chicken nuggets. nie dobrze

I have been to Polish Villa many times. This time I took my Wie for breakfast, yes they serve beakfast. I had scrambled eggs with ham and noodles, ok but not fantastic.The Polish food is always good. Not only do they have Polish food but also the usuals. Try them Im sure youll love them.

I dont stop here often enough but when I do its always a pleasurable experience. Top notch service, excellent food and reasonable prices cant forget about the bottomless coffee mugs. One of Cheektowagas finest restaurants.

Great food in a cozy atmosphere. Definitely some of the best pierogi in WNY! Waitress was super friendly and welcoming.

Lovely dinner with our North Carolina family at our favorite Polish food place...this tradition started around 40 years ago by my Uncle Leo with the Carolina clan...the morning or the day before they leave...🥰🌈🌹❤️

I came for the stuffed haddock and they use imitation crab which is gross to me and I wont eat. So I chose the fish fry, near battered. So many raved about it. The fish was a great cut of fish and flaky. It was so oily I could not finish it, It was making me sick. tried to finish what I took home and could hardly stomach it. I Wont be going back for anything!

Walked in and was seated .It was a weekday afternoon and Id say 3 or four tables of between 2 and 4 folk.I asked for water and some extra napkins to begin with .The waitress did not offer anything.Then she comes over and asks if the male who accompanied me if he would like a drink and some menus were given. After some social cues she came over and takes the order. I was there for a meeting. Food comes and I have to remind the waitress off my extra napkin my inner mind saying how am I going to eat with a napkin the size n texture of a toilet sheet.Im studying my surroundings and that was a bit unappetizing-I leave it at that.I do notice our portions noticeably differ as if Ive been served a potato terrine. Anyhoo that was not the case .I fed my dog the meat paid the bill and left hefty tip.Thats when I asked for my soda and dessert. The soda was like stangnet water the apple potato crepe was like eating cardboard-That went to the trash.

Polish Villa is a great place to eat! My father and I enjoyed the platter with a nice variety. They have several other options in their menu, but the Polish food is so delicious. The atmosphere, smell and soft background Polish music makes it enjoyable.

Waited almost an HOUR for anything. Was a large party there but there were other waitresses doing abdolutely NOTHING! Food was good as usual but service SUCKED!!!

My grandparents brought me here basically every single week growing up, and it makes me so happy to see that over the years the food/service/quality has not diminished one bit. I feel right at home here. Not to mention the most authentic polish food you will find in the area, the prices are very affordable. I will bring my kids here and my kids kids someday :)

Visiting Buffalo this past weekend we decided to eat at the Polish Villa. I was glad we stopped. We had the Golumbek plate (stuffed cabbage, potato pancake and 2 pierogis along with 2 pieces of kielbasa). The food was cooked fresh and it was delicious. Our waitress talked us into ordering dessert and I had the lemon pie and companion had the cherry pie (soooo good So happy we stopped and the next time Im in Buffalo Ill be eating here. I also have to compliment the waitresses who were very friendly and humorous. Highly recommend!

Its sad that a business with such historic roots in Buffalo treats their customers the way that they treated our group after my friends grandfather passed away. They had their post-funeral lunch at the Villa and were met with disappointment. They were told originally when they called that they could have their own private room due to their situation, and having a large group of people. Unfortunately this was not the case when they arrived. We were seated in the middle of the room, and were not served, or even given water for the first 20 minutes. On top of this, the food and service was sub-par. I understand that times are tough for the restaurant industry, but this was unacceptable. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it.

Horrible service. Waited over 10 mins for someone to get us drinks then another 15 to take order. Waitress staff was overwhelmed and couldnt keep up. Had to ask for bill. Never asked us if we wanted anything else to drink or eat. Just poor service. Will not be going back.

Your patience for your meal order will be rewarded, with the most authentic Polish foods and dishes in WNY! Our waitress was as attentive as she could be, as she was very busy. This place is very popular and when you taste any of their traditional dishes, you will know why.

Always get a great home made meal here. I had the lunch size, beer battered fish with potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw,& also German potato & rye bread. It was 8.95 and also took some home for leftovers. My wife had Lazy Pierogi and a garden salad that was on special also for 8.95 & brought some home as well. We had enough for dinner for both of us as we got an order of smoked polish sausage to bring back to Jamestown with us. Now tomorrow Ill finish my fish for lunch. Thats 5 meals for $30. Cant beat that with a stick. We also had 2 drinks there(coffee,& my wife had a pop.)We eat there every time we are in Buffalo on a Friday. I highly recomend

Very relaxed atmosphere in a authentic polish setting. Food made from scratch and every bit delicious. Pierogis are large and fully stuffed. Farmers cheese pictured, enjoyed a sauerkraut pierogi as well. Potato cake, warm sauerkraut, and a cabbage roll. All delicious and served hot. Fresh rye bread and butter accompanies the meal. Sides of applesauce and sour cream for the pierogies. Ended with a REAL banana cream pie. House made flaky crust. Staff is overtly helpful and friendly. Prices reasonable. Very nice stop!

So glad we returned here after years having passed since our prior visit! Friends were in from out of town and we knew they would appreciate the noms of a meal which tasted real.Aside from ordering way too much, everything was exactly what we wanted... good coffee w/plenty-o-refills.. great pierogies (all 3 kinds).. fried balogne.. exactly what mfriends were in the mood for!.. OOGs the beef and noodles (I forget what it is calledwere mouth-watering amazeballs!.. tasty potato pancakes.. oh.. and that Ruben Soup was Perfect!.. two kinds of kielbasa (I prefered the smokedand the cabbage was completely gone at the endGotta say.. I didnt expect to be so delighted when we went in and it was a real treat, exactly what we wanted!

If you like Polish food, this is a great place to eat. The Polish platter is an excellent choice to sample the menu with a variety of items. The waitresses were friendly and out going and they sing "Happy Birthday " in Polish. Great experience!

I dont normally leave detailed reviews but we came here whilst visiting the area for the first time and were Polish, so why not, right? Ratings are high, we were hungry.We ended up waiting in the doorway for about 40 minutes with a few others ahead of us, and a few behind us questioned if they had to go put their names in on the waitlist. The hostess kiosk is the furthest thing from the door and from that vantage point you really cant see the line of people waiting to be sat. Not a really efficient way of doing things, but she came around after dropping off drinks for tables that were within eyesight of the door.We could see the four empty tables waiting to be filled, and a couple of the people behind us knew just from that fact who was working.- I will give that it was a Friday afternoon and they had an ongoing special on fish fry, but there were no overbearing fried or fishy smells even when a waitress walked by with two giant plates in hand -We got our drinks fairly quickly once we were sat and our waitress was absolutely pleasant. Ordered the appetizer pierogis [which are like the size of a fist each! wow!] because by the time we were sat we were fairly close to reaching our "check in" time at our hotel and we had plans to meet up with friends, so we didnt have time by then to enjoy a full lunch option. These were a fantastic choice and we ordered one of each - cheese, the potato, the sauerkraut [one of us had the meat option with mushroom gravy as well and that one was real good as she would put it]. Wed asked for the check to be delivered at the same time because of our constraints and this was accommodated as well.One last thing I have to mention, and I cant believe this is what I will probably remember the most from this visit, is that the moment we stepped into the building, an older patron sitting at a table within eyesight of the door basically gave me the stink eye for the entire time we had been waiting for a table. Im not sure how I offended her but even after sitting across the room at our own lunch table, she continued to swivel her head in my direction and just give this terrible look of disdain. I asked the person I had been eating with to see if she had still been staring and shed given us the once-over a final time before exiting the building at the end of her meal. Mindblowing experience.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight! Denise " not a server " and doesnt play one on TV, was awesome and so was our waitress! ( I forgot her name! The food is always good and worth the trip from Hamburg!

Local favorite on not just Fridays. Authentic Polish food to enjoy.German potato salad, american potato salad and fish are always outstanding. Its a small place so often there is a wait.

Doesnt get any better. Old world outstanding Polish food. Personal, friendly, efficient service. Excellent value--huge portions. We make it a point to stop here every time we are near Western New York.

The Polish food was VERY Good! Service was great, our sever was Very informative. Potato pancake was cooked a little hard & lacked flavor but other from that the "Polish plate " with the duck soup was Excellent & HUGE! We had a great dining experience.

My sister and I wanted to get together since were both vaccinated and havent seen each other in so long. We stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening, and there was a wait line, we decided to wait. Our wait wasnt very long, and we were seated pretty quickly. Even though they were all very busy, the staff was great. Our orders were taken almost as soon as we decided what we were going to try, and our dinners were brought to us much sooner than expected. The food was perfect, and we took desserts to go (the crepes were really good too). Polish Villa has never disappointed, and their streak continues!

We live 80 miles from there but find ourselves in the Buffalo area about 3x a month. It was our 1st time there, it DEFINITELY wont be our last!! I havent had Polish food this good since my Gramma passed away in the 80s.

Perogis bigger than you head. Authentic flavors and huge portions. Very helpful and kind staff.

Staff was friendly. Place was cozy. Food was top notch. The pierogis were huge! The cheese, meat and potato were all good! Their chicken fingers were good but had a different type of breading than most Buffalo area restaurants. The rye bread was delicious! Their fries were good as well but I personally didnt care for the type of breading/seasoning they had. Would definitely eat here again.

Delicious Polish food and it’s homemade. Golabki were perfect and so were potato pancakes. We come to this place every time we’re in Buffalo, that’s how good it is.(Disclaimer: I am originally from Eastern Europe)

A buffalo institution ! Been here. More 3 decades and still going strong ! Great ethnic food served in large portions. Might want to check the cabbage roll might need a bit more binding and tomato- this past trip meat seemed to fall apart and was a watery gravy accompaniment . Pierogi cheese could be a bit more on the dry side - was wet verses the way gram used to put it together 👍 overall great place to get some good polish food !
