Beautiful!
I love the place but its too crowded lately. Nice pitstop from/to further hiking.
MoreCrowded shelter and everything expensive
Beautiful road to go, but expected more from waterfall, Sunday was a lot of people
MoreGreat spot to rest before final climbing of Sarnia skala
Beatifull place, easy acces even in winter. Dont need racks unless goung further to "Sarnia Skała".
MoreOne of most beautiful in Tatra mountains.
There is benches and a hut selling snacks and drink but for ridiculous prices. Amazing view, great for a break after climbing down one of the trails.
MoreNo drone allowed...:(((
Calm and relaxing place
Worth visit
Amazing place
Short easy trail with small stream along the way. Can get crowded and muddy.
Beautiful place with view at Giewont. Really fantastic place for walk and if you want to relax and unstress. Must see
MoreBeautiful!
A pleasant and easy hike, about 40 minutes from the car parks. The entrance fee to the Tatra National Park costs 5 PLN, there is a discount for kids, students and seniors. The valley is accessible also in the winter; crampons are recommended, as the trail can be a bit slippery (we went there with avalanche danger level 1). You can buy non-slip sole protectors by the entrance, they also sell warm gloves and hats (its often cooler than in the city). We left early (the night falls around 16:00 pm in January), so we were one of the first people on the trail. The trail was about 2 metres wide, entirely covered with snow (and sometimes ice), and lead alongside a mountain stream. At the end of the valley (Polana Strążyskathere is a very small mountain challet, where you can drink hot tea/chocolate/wine (about 10 PLN). There are also a few benches outside, with the view of the famous Giewont mountain. In the winter, it is popular with families with kids, who go there with sledges. We also saw a few skiers. It takes about 10 minutes from the challet to the Siklawica waterfall, a picturesque place in the forest. The trail is clearly marked and accessible in the winter, but its really important to have crampons, as a few places on the trail can be very slippery and covered with ice.
MoreNature place for walk
Beautiful scenery. Nice and clean.
Lovely scenic location
So beautiful!!! I love Poland
Nice place for hiking.
Beatififul short and easy walk. Little overcrowded.
Not bad for a short walk
Great start before other Tatra trials. Families with small kids friendly leave pram at parking.
MoreNice place in polish tatras...
Nice place for hiking :but take good shoes, regular sneakers ar not suitable because the stones are slepery.
MoreThe place is lovely, with a stunning view over Giewont. The bar is not that great though.
MoreTypical Tatra Mountains "plain" in the National Park. Makes a nice break from mountains as you walk along the path.
MoreBeautiful place to visit
Nice trails. Easy to hike with kids
Very cool trip.
Fabulous spot, amazing view to the mountains.
Very nice and calm area. Good place for warm tea before further walk.
Worth a visit even at this time of the year. Not a very demanding walk. Accessible on foot from the centre of Zakopane.
MoreNice park in Zakopane for a walk in the evening
