Soaring fountain with 200-ft.-wide basin, infinity waterfall & seats, at meeting point of 3 rivers.
Great view of the hills across the rivers
A soothing place for a nice afternoon walk.
Beautiful spot in a Beautiful Downtown. Picture taking galore.I remember as a young kid going here yearly as they would have the Three Rivers Arts Festival down here. I remember it being quite large but I havent been there in years so dont know if they still do the Arts Festival as I really hope they still do. Photos coming soon.
Huge fountain,it was great.l would like to visit it again.Do not miss the incline.
Very peaceful and lovely area. Only real issue is parking. Not an issue if youre already in the city but its still a decent walk.
One of my favourite place in Pittsburgh! Its a place to relax and watch the city skyline. I enjoyed watching ducks swimming in the fountain with a cool breeze from the river. You should probably avoid sunny hot days. There is no shade around the fountain.
Great place to visit on a non sunny day...
Great place to go for a walk, have a chat with a friend, or just sit and relax for a while. Dont expect to find any free parking in the area, but theres a decent bit of paid street parking generally available and a dedicated lot close by.
Big fountain, very cool, very nice :)Was really bright during the day though so bring your sun glasses and sun block! Not a lot of shade around the fountain, views are great and not too crowded during the week days. Public bathrooms nearby are pretty clean and the springing park is really peaceful to chill out in.
Never knew how much history was here until I started taking photos so really cool place to come. Ive been coming here all my life and I just wanted a wander down here and see what I could find today. Ever since they remodeled this thing. Its amazing! Definitely something you got to check out in real life
Very pretty but expected it to be more lit up at the actual fountain
Pretty visually and there’s usually a nice breeze on a hot summer day. Relaxing spot!
Wonderful park in the heart of downtown..Nice place to visit with family and friends such a pleasant atmosphere to hangout..Worth visiting while visiting Pittsburgh
Cool water fountain. Can see it by boat or walking in park. Clipper boat tour passes it a few times.
A nice area for tourist like us to walk around with good weather. Good to see the bit of history with the Block House and the museum. This area gives you good view to the Duquesne Incline.
Great area to relax and enjoy the view and let the kids play and run.
It’s a beautiful location to watch the sunset. Only thing is people smoke a lot along side walks on the edges which one can escape by walking only through the center of the park
Nice place to visit. Walking and kids friendly.
Lovely spot within Fort Pitt. Visitors are allowed to wade in the water, although Im unsure if bathing in it is allowed. Amazing views of downtown from here, as well as the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, marking the beginning of the Ohio River. Its fascinating to know that water will end up in the Gulf of Mexico at some point. Its about a 15-minute walk from the nearest parking lot. Check weather conditions before arriving, especially since theres no covered space within the immediate vicinity to retreat to if it rains all of a sudden.
Quite well maintained and has a good view of the Duquesne incline and the famous bridges of Pittsburgh. A great place to spend a quiet weekend with the family.
LOVE IT HERE!!! I like that theres so much to do in such a contained place. Have a picnic, okay fetch, fish. Its a nice day.
Nice and good hideouts with riverfront and a powerful fountain. People enjoy cycling and light plays. Surround locations make it scenic. A must Photo shoot place. If you visit Piitsburgh, this is the most visited place. Parking can be done nearby and walk around.
The beauty of Pittsburgh ❤️ I love my city!
a must see while exploring pittsburgh!! breathtaking
A beautiful evening visit to the Point State Park Fountain for a walk along the water. Very few people there as we were there right at 11pm. The fountain is back on after winter but must shut off right at park closing time (11pmso we just missed it again, lol but still a wonderful place to walk in the city and catch some beautiful lights reflecting on the water and some amazing views of Pittsburgh’s bridges with the downtown skyline lit up around you! Love this park!
Awesome. We also went up the incline Railway for a better view of the park!!!
A great and scenery spot that you must visit.
One of the best spots in the burgh. The views of the rivers and the city are spectacular. If youre from out of town and visiting Pittsburgh, check out Fort Pitt Museum before you walk around the Point. There youll learn the significance and history of this place and youll be astonished of the changes you see around you.
Great scenic spot to rest after a Pirates game! You can even get a little shower if you are in the right spot.
A beautiful place to get the view of the city. And the Christmas decorations were lit!
My wife and son visited Pittsburgh for a few days and this was well-worth it. You get great vantage points of the city and it seems like the park/area are well maintained. Theres some all-day parking nearby for $10 if youre in the same car-rental type boat we were in.
We stopped in while In town for a Sunday football game. This place was a nice relaxing place to hangout and enjoy some of the best views in the city. Look across the water at Heinz field. Tons of boats and people out enjoying the weather. Unbelievable views and park. I’ll definitely stop back by when in town. Highly recommend!
Lovely place to relax and people watching. Sadly we went there once and the fountain wasnt on. Dont know why. But the next evening it was so glad we could stop by there to enjoy the sound of the water and see the point where all three rivers meet. Across the street you can see the dequense Incline too. Must visit place as well.
The best view of the city! The three rivers meeting is amazing! Must visit in PGH
Beautiful location to get a panorama view of Pittsburgh. You can just chill out, enjoy a picnic, study, watch the boaters, walk or bike up and down the Riverwalk. Cool off with fountain sprays.. Lots of festivals are held here and theres no better place to enjoy the 4th of July Fireworks!!
The place where Pittsburg gathers to soak in the serenity of the city. We saw a couple proposing at sunset and applause all around. The fountain makes this place totally magical at dusk.
The most famous waterfall in Pittsburgh, which is located at the point of three rivers in downtown. It shoots very high and you can see it from pretty far away. Its a great spot for pictures on a sunny day. Sometimes they turn it on in the evening and theres colored lights shinning onto the water, but most times its off in the evening.
Fun afternoon/evening of fireworks July 4th. Bring your own food to avoid huge lines.
Absolutely beautiful! What an amazing fountain and park! Nice to see the amount if police there also. Made me feel safe to have the kids there. The fourth of July fireworks are just amazing!
It’s just gorgeous. What a park with three rivers, hills, and a city skyline.
Whenever your in town visiting, traveling through or just need a place to relax and enjoy. Point State Park Fountain is definitely a site not to miss!! From 🌅 sunrise until sunset Point State Park has many things happening for the public to enjoy while staying in Pittsburgh 🙂🙂
One of the most iconic places in Pittsburgh!Located at the fork of the rivers, it provides a beautiful view of much of downtown Pittsburgh. Great place to just hang out and relax. The famous water fountain is located here.It draws many people, but it isnt small, so despite large crowds here, it doesnt feel crowded.
I love going down here occasionally and just sitting at the point and reflecting on life. Great place to do some meditation 💯🙂 pictures posted are not of the point however across the river from it
Nice calm atmosphere, right on the river. Noce breeze, perfect view of inclines and stadiums. Plenty of seating, great bridges, easily accessible downtown area. Didnt see any vendors. Lots of people walking. Nice grassy areas. Clean restrooms.
This fountain is huge and depending upon where around it you are youll get a nice mist. This is a popular destination with lots if ppl hear in the summer. You can dip your feet in the water but if you wade or swim when the park police come by they will scold you, guaranteed. You can also look downstream at the two rivers merging into one or looks at the trains across the river or those walking near the baseball stadium.
Fountain closes at 10:00pm for security reasons but north shore riverfront park stays open 24hours.Wide trailRiver walkSightseeingPicnic areaRental boats 🚣♀️ and kayaksBike 🚲 ridesSit around Point state park fountain ⛲️ and enjoy 😊
The views of Heinz stadium and the city of Pittsburgh are iconic from this beautiful park which appears to be out on a little Peninsula!! Just lovely, wish I would’ve packed a lunch to eat out at the fountain!
Always a stop on our Pittsburgh trips. Beautiful area, peaceful, enjoy many different views sit read a book. Ride your bike. Or just walk around. View of the city, sports stadiums, incline, rivers homes, train and more. Historical. Clean and Quiet space for Downtown.
At the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers, Point State Park is at the tip of Pittsburghs “Golden Triangle.” A relaxing place with a big relaxing and refreshing fountain, surrounded by the most scenic views.
Great park to hang out and on a sunny and warm game day you can watch a Steelers game! Lots of fans in their boats. The fountain offers a refreshing mist and theres some historical points of interest . Clean restrooms. We bright a picnic lunch and a blanket. Plenty of places to relax and enjoy.
