This is a good place and we’d stay there again. It’s a fantastic location for transport, food etc. The disability access rooms have fantastic bathrooms. Staff are all excellent and friendly. Included breakfast is high quality. Would have given this a 5* except:- breakfast at weekends. At weekends the hotel is packed, and the breakfast is popular. When the orange juice dispenser empties early, instead of filling it up, they just take the empty one away and don’t replace it. Croissants 🥐 also ran out. Weekdays this isn’t an issue.- We were there for over a week and lift was broken for all of that time. They can’t fix a lift within a week ? Really ? As someone with a disability I was offered a room in another hotel instead, but we didn’t want that so we were offered to be able to use the service lift (which necessitated one flight of stairs rather than 4). But stairs non the less. A lift is an essential.

Elevator was broken for all days of the stay.Room was shaking every other minute due to trains.Water in the shower went warm and cold all the time.No power plug adapters available for international guests. Staff had no clue where to get adapters close by (sending one to different places).Generation of invoice took 6 attempts. Information provided with the booking was misregarded. Atempt of clarifying it before the last day were ignored. In general my impression was that guests are just the necessary evil. I didnt feel welcome by the staff. I also had the impression that they dont really care about the guests (e.g. broken elevator for several days). To be fair the room was very clean and ok quality.

Positive- Location wise the place is fantastic. Very central for anyone planning on visiting the Westend of London.Negative- Very tiny room. More like a kinda hostel. Good for 1/2 nights. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone looking for luxury accommodation or families.. more like a place you just want to crash just for sleep…

Small room and very small bathroom but this is to be expected in London for the price. Breakfast is very good. Great location with tube stops nearby to get you where you need to go. Room was in need of a bit of a deep cleaning to get rid of the dust in the corners and under the bed but again, for the price point it wasnt unexpected. Friendly and professional staff were always available and ready to help with any requests or questions. Would stay again.

What I value the most about any hotel is 1sleep quality and 2breakfast. The sleep quality is absolutely terrible. I wish you luck if you stay on any level lower than the third floor. The whole building rattles every couple minutes whenever the tube passes bellow which tremendously hurts your sleep quality. I sleep with ear plugs and eye cover and still woke up with this, especially on the first day. The breakfast is ok but unless you are a very deep sleeper I recommend avoiding this one. The amenities are also not good. No closet for clothes, no socket for shaving, no EU-UK socket adapters available, very tiny room and the toilet fan never shuts off and stays on all night.TLDR: avoid unless an earthquake wont wake you up.

Although the staff and hotel in general are excellent it really must be stressed how inadequately sized the rooms are. The rooms are tiny. Insufferably tiny. There is room for little else in the room except the beds. There are no tables, cupboards or storage. This may be fine for an overnight stay but for any extended stay it borders on torture. Couple this with the bathrooms that seem to be tacked on as an afterthought and the experience quickly lost its luster. The shower is also very small and the floor is so slippery it was down right dangerous to use. Management please address this issue. Someone is going to get badly hurt for the sake of a £5 shower Mat.We had several interactions with the staff and most are extremely friendly and pleasant. One of the girls took the time to explain how the underground worked to me which was much appreciated. The hotels location is a few minutes walk from Paddington and Edgware Road tube stations. This means very quick and direct access to most of central London via the tube. There is a Tescos express supermarket directly across the street and a plethora of restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. Be aware that Paddington has a large middle eastern community and most of the restaurants and shops reflect this. If you are after traditional English food then you are more than likely going to have to travel out of Paddington for it.

Fantastic location few minutes walk from Paddington station, across the street from hop on hop off tour bus stop, surrounded by many shops and food options, 24hr tesco express across the street, 15 minute walk to Marble Arch. Wonderful and helpful staff. Little to no hot options for breakfast, but if you like carbs you will love the selection. Clean, modern, basic but sufficient accommodations. Bathroom/shower very small. Would not be suited for larger people. Overall I would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

The room is half the size of what is advertised, but the main issue was the lack of ventilation. When I booked, it claimed that breakfast was included, but that was not the case. The one person with whom I spoke about it was rude, and dismissive. Lots of other affordable places in the area. Next time Ill try a different one

I have picked this hotel since it was very close to the office and frankly speaking that was the few advantages it had.The hotel itself and the rooms are small, but thats about the standard in London. Ive paid extra for a room with a window, but the window itself was 30-40 cm wide and you had to stand on a chair to look out of it. I would strongly advise against going for a "windowless option", since that one would probably be underground.Which brings me to the biggest downside of this hotel. Its built above (or very neartube line(sand each time the train goes by the whole building shakes and rattles. On the 3rd floor thats noticeable, but acceptable. On the ground floor its annoying. And underground... enough to say I met a guy in the reception that was almost begging the hotel to move him somewhere else, cause he couldnt sleep all night.Ah, and there is almost nothing to eat for breakfast, so you might as well skip it and go buy a sandwich in Tesco on the other side of the street.

The receptionist is really nice and professional, i told her that my ac in room 333 is not cooling , 5min later she gives me another room , and I didn’t even ask , great experience, better than some 5 star hotels like Royal garden, where i have to beg 5 times for them to not change a thing, basically calling me a liar or not taking my and 7 other residents complaints.Thank you Point A Hotel 👍🏼

Things break. I get that. But, when on a very hot day the air conditioning isnt working and they tell you it just needs to be reset and it will be working when you return and you come back and its still not working and they tell you the maintenance guy has left for the day and "you will just have to deal with it for the night" that is not acceptable. They tried to smooth that comment over by saying they wouldnt charge for the night but never refunded the charge to my credit card.NEVER again will I stay at this hotel.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s an incredible value for money. Centrally located next to Paddington station, it was an easy in and out through the city, and to Heathrow. We got the room for people with disabilities so it was quite spacious and found a deal for free breakfast (which was very tasty). The staff was polite, cheerful and helpful. Many of the more expensive hotels nearby don’t have AC - which we did and it proved needed during a heat spell. The only negative is the AC was angled toward the bed and dried up our sinuses, but that was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise, my feedback is - why pay double for hotels that give you fewer amenities and you won’t be in there anyhow as you’ll be exploring!

The room are compact. The bathroom spotless and more generously proportioned than the room. The air con is really strong and works well - which given the heat this month was a big bonus. The breakfast is really very good too - they say continental but theres no sorry croissants in plastic packaging - rather a good selection of pastries that are as good if not better than those found in the supermarket or a bakery. Really impressed!

Very disappointed. NOT handicap friendly. They have handicap accessible rooms, but about as far away from the elevator as possible. Doors are so heavy even an average person has to push hard to get them to open, so I doubt a handicap person could. Also, they wouldnt give us a room close to our mother (who is the one needing the help), so she ended up having to sleep in a room with me, so I could help her. Finally, the front door opens automatically but you then have to push open a second door to get in. If you are handicapped or traveling with someone who is, dont stay here.

Well designed hotel and very functional. The rooms are slightly on the small side but given the price are reasonable. The double bed window rooms are basically chic student dorms. They are very comfortable for the business traveller. Close to the tube and excellent amenities at hand. Staff are friendly and attentive.

The best stay I have ever had in London. The staff were 100 x more friendly, attentive and helpful than any other hotel Ive splashed the cash on in London. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We felt extremely safe and had a very good sleep every night of our 3 night stay. The location is perfect - out of the hustle and bustle of centre london, but very close to Edgware Road station and plenty to do in close proximity to the hotel if you fancy staying in. 9 out of 10 for cleanliness and the hotel rooms are very well configured with plenty of storage, modern lighting and big tv screen. More people need to stay in these hotels rather than wasting money on a big lavish experience if youre simply using a hotel to sleep, wash ans dress. We will definitely be back!

Point A hotel  has modern, bright and fresh looking rooms. I was in a twin with 2 single beds. The bathroom had a large walk in shower, there was plenty of room for all your shaving and make up equipment on the large shelf under the mirror.Room was very clean and fresh smelling, no dirty flooring or stains to put you off. There is a safe in the room, large TV which you can connet to if you want to watch something on your phone/tablet.1 double socket with 1 USB port to one side of the 2 beds was a bit disappointing as this could not be shared. No desk in the room which was inconvenience for me as I do a lot of work in my room but there was ample space in the lounge looking out towards the main street that easily made up for this. Drinks could be purchased in the lounge area and I found this was OK for what I needed to do.24hr reception, key card required to enter building outside normal hours.I would stay here againGive this review a thumbs up of you think it is helpful

Budget hotels in London are rarely spacious, but this has to be one of the smallest rooms I’ve stayed in, especially considering the price. The bed itself was comfortable enough for a single person, but being up against the wall would make it less convenient for sharing. Everywhere was clean though and the air-conditioning was alright, plus there’s an attempt at ‘mood lighting’ options via a control panel at the door - I couldn’t work it out though! Bathroom had a shower with good enough power and hot water, and again everything was clean and felt new.Reception staff were really friendly, seeming genuinely interested if the stay had been alright upon check out. There’s no bar in the hotel but you’re surrounded by other options, so it’s not surprising. It’s an okay option in the area, but for the price the room did feel too cramped, and there isn’t much more offered than similar alternatives nearby, so I won’t dissuade from staying here, but equally I can’t overly recommend either.

This hotel was absolutely amazing! It is one of the best hotels we have visited in London. First of all the location was brilliant, directly opposite Superdrug and a Tesco so if you need any last minute essentials you do not need to go that far. Secondly, Edgware Road is literally a minute way which was easier for us as all the halal cafe and restaurants were around the corner. The tube station was also a minute away so we could go everywhere! The hotel itself had a beautiful modern and cosy decor which made the stay even more lovely. The staff were SUPER friendly and we also received an earlier check in as we requested at £15 only. As this was a last minute booking, we did get a room in the basement with no window however, this did not affect our stay at all. The room was lovely and there were some nice mood lights and a radiator/ fan available. We did hear the occasional tubes noises but this did not affect us. I would 1000% recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning!

I enjoyed my stay here. Within walking distance of Paddington Station, even with suitcases. Also very close to Edgware Road tube for access to the city. The hotel was clean and had a fresh ‘new’ feel about it. The ‘pods’ are ideal for using as a base to explore. We didn’t use the restaurant but knew we could get tea and coffee there if we wanted because none are provided in the rooms - there’s also a Tesco express over the road. One thing that took some getting used to, is that the building shakes every time a tube goes past-it passes directly below the building.

For the price in London its fantastic value. The staff are great and very accommodating.Be warned, in both the basement and the first floor you can hear and feel the underground. If youre a light sleeper this is something to consider. I however am not, so for me it was great!

other than the rather lengthy registration, everything else about our stay here was great - the staff were very helpful, even getting me a makeshift ice pack when I bumped my head on a cupboard door in our room. the location is also very conveniently located close to many amenities, making it a great rest point for getting to and from different London attractions.

The good: Staff are very friendly. The bad: the airco is very weird. It kept changing modes to cold and really wants to freeze the room. The staff after multiple complaints did agree to give us a different room. Having spent one night freezing and hearing another person also complaining about same problem, we decided to book another hotel for the second night and checked out in the second evening. The ugly: rooms are tiny. The photos are misleading. Expect 8m2 including the shower.

Good place to stay for an affordable night in London. Positive is the price, location and nice staff. Only disappointing part is the lack of tea/coffee facility in the room. Lovely staff can make you one downstairs, but it would be nice to be able to make a drink in the room.

Really warm welcome from the staff who were helpful throught my stay. Just be aware the rooms are quite small and you can hear the rumbling of the trains through Paddington Station. They have to check my ID when I checked in, passport is not OK, must provide a credit or debit card that is available for online shopping to them. The staff took my card and checked if the card can work. I dont feel safe with that. It took a long time to check in, not the express one as they promoted. The lift is not accessible to the room we stayed. We had a luggage and we had to carry it to climb the stairsAnd the door was not sealed when we checked in. The toilet has brown dirt and we cleaned it ourselves.Theres no peepholes on the door.

I stayed here for two nights. I didnt have high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The room was great, much nicer that I thought it would be and scrupulously clean. Nice powerful shower, great TV with the added bonus of being able to cast a device to it really easily (fab if you have a streaming service as an appand the lighing worked well with a good combination of strong or soft lighting as well as a colour changing background if you wanted to chill out.The only two things that could be improved for me where the lack of kettle in the room to make a drink and the bed was a tad firm for my taste. My friend who also stayed in another room found the bed ideal for her though.Theres a couple of great places to eat close by (its all greek to me looks a bit less fancy but the food is great and Bizzaro Italian is fabulous)
