I loved this. It was a little difficult for me to hear the servers over all the kitchen noise, but the food was delicious. It was served cafeteria style and everything seemed fresh. Id definitely go back again.

Picked up lunch last week. Went through the drive thru. Quick and yummy!

Horrible and rude service. Told the woman working what meat we wanted three different times and was still served the wrong thing with a trashy attitude. Why ask what we wanted and then not listen? Food was bland. Dont waist your time or money. If I could put a negative star review then I would.

Staff seem to be annoyed or just hates life. This place is a joke of a bbq joint. If you are in west monroe dont waste your money. Food is average, restaurant was dirty, food prep area NASTY and the worst was the staff. Will not be back but I do look forward to them selling the place.

The food and price was good. But it was entirely too hot in there.

THEY ALL THE SUDDEN RAN OUT OF PULLED PORK, DIDNT WANT US TO PULL TABLES TOGETHER FOR OUR FAMILY OF 8 WERE EXTREMELY RUDE SLAPPED PLATES DOWN THEN KNEELED AT COUNTER AND PLAYED ON THEIR PHONES. FOOD WAS GOOD BUT YOU NEED A NEW WORK CREW THAT CAN HANDLE A JOB AND GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This is the third time in a row that Ive gone here and left without buying anything. Each time they were out of turkey and twice they were out of at least one other meat I tried to order. We are moving to a different BBQ restaurant as our regular.

I eat at the West Monroe , La store very often . I just went to get something to eat . The staff was very rude , food was all over the floor & bar . One worker who checked me out , she also had a attitude & mumbled under her breath . The worst treatment I have ever gotten . With no one else to wait on , theylooked at me & kept talking to each other for at least 5-10 minutes

Meat was good but vegetables need more seasonings.

Staff members were incredibly rude, especially one cutting/serving meat. I wish I knew her name. She was rude to our family, and other customers on the phone and in the restaurant. I have rarely, if ever, experienced staff so rude at a restaurant. Food was decent, but pulled beef was unseasoned and lacking flavor. Would not visit this restaurant again due to staff.

We didn’t plan on eating here at first, but everywhere else was packed so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! It was SO good! The ladies were real friendly and patient with us. It was quick and easy service. You definitely get your bang for your buck. The food was delicious and if we’re ever out this way again, we definitely plan on stopping by.

Great brisket and sides , service was great for buffet.. great sweet tea ..

Absolutely the worst barbecue I have ever tasted! My daughter and I traveled from Alaska to our home here in North louisiana. Of course, we were looking for some good barbecue and in the past had had good experiences with Podnuhs. It didnt start out good. The lady screamed "Can I help you?!?!" I asked her if she could wait a few minutes and let us gather our thoughts about the menu. 15 seconds later, "can I help you?" There were no cars in the parking lot, no cars in front of us nor behind us, either. Not sure what the rush was? We ordered our meals. The pork sausage was not cooked in the middle and I might as well go to the store, put it in the oven and baked it for a few minutes. No seasoning, no Smoky taste, no nothing! The sliced brisket was so tough I could not swallow it except for whole pieces. Again, no smoke to taste, no distinguishing flavor at all. Just plain meat. I didnt even eat the whole thing. Brisket is supposed to be tender not tough and chewy. The barbecue sauce seem like it was ketchup and lemon juice. There just really was nothing signature to what used to be a really good restaurant. My family and I will not be using Podnuhs anymore. The place looks run down and they are just not taking care of it. One more business down because of poor management, higher prices, and lower quality food. Really sad! Dont go to Podnuhs!

really wish theyd revamp their barbecue sauce but other than that the food is great

The sausage was old, could not eat it. The service was good though. This is the first time Ive ever had a problem with podnuhs!

You just say anymore about there BBQ Its great!! Everytime fall off the bone ribs , juicey tender brisket ,and the pulled pork oooowee its good you wont be disappointed !

Great atmosphere. Large portions of food. Restaurant wasnt crowded. Food was Absolutely Devine. Cant wait to go back.

the service wasnt the best, the restaurant wasnt the cleanest, and Ive seen cleaner gas station bathrooms. However, the food was pretty good so im giving it three stars

Rude employees! The food tasted good but the service and overall cleanliness of the place was horrible. Sad thing is this place could be an awesome place with better employees and cleaner establishment! One female employee mentioned how she "felt like a slave serving white folks"

I ordered podnuhs on Waitr waited 30 minutes for the order to even be accepted. At first I thought this was a Waitr problem, but Waitr called me said they tried contacting them to accept and they didn’t answer. I have called several times and no answer as well. Unbelievably unprofessional. I worked in food business before, I understand you get busy but not too busy to answer the phone or accept new order. Disappointed is an understatement when I was excited to try this for the first time.

Food was not any good. It seemed to all have been cooked to long. The chicken, the beef and the sasuage were so dry we couldnt eat it at all. Maybe if we chop it up the dogs might eat it, I really dont know.

Hi , the sausage was peper hot , and pickers were hot from beening picked up with the peper tongs, wrong,,, and podnuh,s loosing money on the serving they gave us,,, this store is not fun like Shreveport La

Update, it got worse, ordered to go, did NOT get extra gravy we PAID FOR, I asked if they would PLEASE make sure the bread was toasted for our sandwiches she said they ALWAYS DO, YET THEY DIDNT! It was ONLY buttered which made it gross and SOGGY, THANKS I HATED IT.Usually good food, good prices, nice servers, and comfortable atmosphere.They do not deliver and when we called them tonight they refused to take a call in order. If you drive through be sure to check your order before you drive off, we asked for a sausage sandwich, he, Jaurice I think, said ok, we got home and it was a chopped beef sandwich. We were the only car in line so it wasnt a mix up, maybe they could train the employees on what the products are so they can tell sausage from chopped beef. Other than that our trip was great!

Always an old favorite with great food at a good price. The place is a little run down and could use some updates, but dont let this keep you from some awesome food.

Ordered online using doordash. The ribs were mushy and the chicken was dry both times I have ordered there. Very disappointed in the quantity and quality for the price I paid.

I went there several times during the summer always out of ribs and wanted me pay same price for a pierce of chicken happened after ordered and paid didn’t tiell me till I drove up there other times out of bbq beans and potatoe salad and manger and staff was very rude! I called the order in then deceived

Food was terrible. The lady working the drive through was rude and disrespectful when my wife asked for extra bbq sauce. She then slammed the drive through window and walked away. Our food was just thrown all in the boxes. The higher ups didnt seem to give a damn either. Its a shame that this used to be a damn good business, but has now been run into the ground. Miss the original owners.

The place is filthy and the employees are rude. Every table in the place was dirty/sticky. There are a dozen employees behind the counter and no one came out to wipe them off so I decided to take my meal to go. The beef was dry but over all the food tasted good... Hope I dont get sick.

While my wife waited in drive thru for 30 minutes tonight they eventually told her they was only accepting cash .then she still had to wait to leave because they were taking their sweet little time with the customer in front of her. Use to think a lot of this place but just like a lot of great places that was ran in the ground by people that has no care of interest of perfection for serving the people and offering great service. People need to put more care in what they are doing around there.

Will second the last review in saying that the employee was rude when we didn’t order through the speaker. We probably would have if it didn’t look broken with a tube sock over it. She literally told us “these people are driving me crazy.” Then proceeded to pleasantly take our order with “what do y’all want?” Terrible service...on Father’s Day at that!We won’t be inconveniencing the staff here again.

Local chain. Good southern BBQ. Not Rendezvous in Memphis good. ut pretty darn good. Everything fresh smoked daily. The "debris" baked beans are as good as any Ive had.

I wanted to give them a try today rather than another local BBQ place. While waiting in line, i didnt see a speaker box, I dont usually go there, so didnt know. Id waited in line a while and finally got to the window. The man said ma"am, did u know you had to order back there? Theres a WHOLE sign back there.Theres a way to say things without being rude. Well....there goes my effort to give them a try. Dont plan to go back.

Just a little off the beaten path is this bbq place. We knew nothin about it but glad we stopped. For 1100 andchange wr had a sampler plate with 2 sides . we were there a little late so they were getting short on ribs but the tomatoes and cucumbers salad was yreat. Well worth the drive.

Excellent BBQ spot for lunch or family!You pick your meats, and you serve yourself the sides. Quick, effective, and delicious. It also has a drive-thru for those in a rush, and the staff is well-trained and super polite.

Average at best. Meat is often dry and over cooked to the point of being dry. The meat portions run generally small. It will usually quench your carnivore urge but could be so much better.

Podnuhs Bar-B-Que is really good which I really love their ribs and sausage and the banana pudding is so delicious and the workers there are really nice and friendly and the restrooms are nicely cleaned. I really love to be going back there again someday in the near future.

I use 2 love eating here..I got chicken,saug & ribs & all the meat was dry & 2 much dill & mustard in the potato salad..beans were only thing good..not going back again..

Used to be good. But it’s really nasty lately. Meats cold and dry and nearly in edible. It’s 10$ for three meat and they give you almost no meats. Definitely go somewhere else if you want bbq.

I enjoyed the three meat plate.. 3 ribs ..sausage ..sliced beef.. potatoe salad.. baked beans.. bread . Eveything was hot and very good. I will go back. It had been awhile for me. Each person helping my Grand so and I was very nice.My Grandson had a sliced beef poor boy frys pudding. It was all fresh and good. The gravey was very hot and tasted great. He already wants more.

Really good BBQ. The meats have a really great smoke taste and the sauce is really good; it has a nice spicy tinge but its not overpowering. Ive only had the beans and coleslaw as sides but they are really good and they complement the meat really well. The toast they give you with your meal is sweet and buttery, but it soaks up all the sauce and juices really well.

The brisket has been good every time Ive had it. The pulled pork sandwich I got once,tasted old and I had to throw it away. My husband doesnt like the potato salad,but does like the baked beans and brisket. Its a bit pricey for what u actually get.

Love this place. If you get the one meat plate, i recommend you get the ribs.Was surprised when i found out this location was not too far from my hotel (making west monroe my favorite of the two Monroes, lol). I have been to the other two locations in Baton Rouge and its always a good experience, great food and good prices.
