Podere 39 in Florence
Description
Privilege
One of the best meals of my life! A gorgeous space complimented by excellent food and amazing wine. The waitstaff and owner are so kind and welcoming. If you have the chance to go, I would HIGHLY recommend.
MoreFood not the standard as the menu advertised .was expecting red shrimp and got Argentinian shrimp for no price reduction . Lamb was a basic lamb streak that was deep fried I breadcrumbs, the same fryer as the fish was cooked in !!Restaurant very hot with poor ventilation. Unsure how they got mentioned in the Michelin guideWould not recommend this place
Bravi!Torneremo presto.
MoreThis was a really special experience. The staff were super friendly, the interior decor was gorgeous, and the food was absolutely delicious, and different from anything Ive ever eaten - our starter was stuffed pumpkin flower. Loved it!
Servizio ultragentile.
MoreLovely little place. Great service and food.
A cozy place, full of details at an uncommon area in Firenze. The restaurant shares the local with a flower shop and it has a pretty cool setting. Good service. However, the food was pretty standard, or maybe a bit more less than that. We had a zucchini carpaccio, nothing special. The pasta was good made but the rucula sauce was decent. I found it pretty overpriced for some vegetables and pasta.
MoreMixed feelings. Nice setting. A cozy little place is promising a great experience. But it was a bit disappointing: the food was just ok, with regard to service - we didnt feel welcomed. Well, we are not local ... who seems to be happier and more incorporated.
MoreA small gem in the center of Florence, steps away from Porta Romana and Boboli Gardens. The daily menu changes often, and it offers elegant and yummy variations on classic Italian dishes.
MoreGreat food in nice atmosphere!Great recommendation!!!
Amazing food, best meal weve had in Italy. Fine cuisine and very fast and friendly service
MoreTruly unique location inside a flower store. Great wine selection & fair prices. However, the the food did not quite live up to expectations.
MoreThe atmosphere is amazing. Decorations with flower is wonderful. The dishes were very good as well, especially tagliolini. Lamb was a little bit heavy, more herb could be better.
MoreEspectacular. Spectacular. Spettacolare. Great value for the money. Strongly recommended
MoreAmazing food, the atmosphere is great and very authentic. Good value for the prices. A must-visit if you’re in Firenze.
Location molto curata e caratteristica. Personale preparato e gentile.Materie prime di ottima qualità e piatti molto accurati. Il prezzo è assolutamente nella norma
MoreGreat food. Good wine list, friendly service.
Lovely place for dinner in Firenze! Cosy atmosphere, great wine, the pasta wasnt as tasty as expected (from all the amazing reviews), but I would give it another try, no doubt.
MoreSimply the best. Delicious, high quality Italian food and wine.
Great little bistro. Lunch was excellent and staff super friendly. Good wine selection considering it seats less than 2 dozen I think. Would return in a heartbeat.
MoreThe best!!!
Pasta was overcooked and soaked in butter ,it looked more like a soup. The taste was average. Probably more suitable for a dinner than lunch. The woman who works there is very nice. Maybe we just chose the wrong dishes.
MoreReally unsuccessful service. One waitress provides service to the entire restaurant. No English menu !!! 🤦♀️😡We had to translate the menu with Google ... its not perfect but reasonable. The dishes? The dishes were fine and nothing more.Bottom line, youll feel comfortable giving up a visit here.
MoreReally good Pasta!
Delicious food with great service. The pasta dishes were fantastic. One of our favorite Florentine restaurants.
MoreTesty, newly Italian gourmet, surprise and far from the traditional pastas. They gave an special touch, dock with pasta different but good 👌👌👌
MoreGreat place for dinner in Florence! We were told by locals to go there and so glad we did. It feels more local being very small and not in the super touristy areas. The food was amazing and had more local Florentine dishes. We ate the rabbit spaghetti which was one of the best pasta dishes Ive ever had. We also had the tortell, which was also incredible. The zucchini flower with ricotta was out of this world. We also had a bottle of wine and it was all very reasonable priced. Id definitely recommend for a great meal.
MoreFantastic place to dine. One of my top 10 in Firenze ❤️
Not very meat-centric. The fish pastas was amazing and all the starters were.... more "experimental" than traditional. I got a fried mozarella and anchovies speciality which was excellent the first few bites but then perhaps got a little bit too much and should perhaps have been shared. No secondi dishes here, focus is more on very good home made pastas and I believe everything is home made from the cream in the sauce to the pasta itself.
MoreThe best meal we had in Italy over a three week period. Fantastic service, fresh ingredients and the past it was incredible. We had the Carbonara and Pepe e Caccia. You can spend hours there in the rustic, natural setting.
MorePoor service...
Very bad service. Nearly 2 hrs to get the food on the table.
Fantastic. Food. Service. Decor
Amazing simple pasta.
I rarely give bad reviews but I was particularly disappointed with this restaurant. Given the high rating others have provided Im led to think there must have been some recent changes. We were seated at 730pm and didnt see mains until 9pm despite ordering very quickly. The only waitress had too many people to tend to meaning once we ran out of water we couldnt get any more. When our food finally came it was bland and, whats worse, it was a verbal special which we werent told was 15 euro each. All up we paid 42.50 euro for an average meal and very slow service.
MoreBeautiful small restaurant with authentic interior. Friendly staff. And the food, oooo the food was incredibly delicious and beautifully served with a glass of fine wine, mmmm straight beauty !!! True Italian food! One of the best in Florence! I strongly recommend!
MoreDelicious authentic little Italian restaurant. Great service as the waitress talked us through the menu in English. Fantastic food and excellent drink choices! A definite visit if near by.
MoreStopped in on this little local spot for lunch and had probably the best meal ever. The ingredients are so fresh and the plates are unique, creative and use local ingredients. I would go back in a second!
MoreThe best pasta Ive ever eaten and exceptional service. A must visit!
We just ran to this cute trattoria by causality and it was amazing. Really good products and dishes. Very cozy and good attention. Wine selection was pretty good as well!
MoreExcellent food and service.
Amazing little Tuscan resto with great decor and fabulous food
